Great spirit and passion of these musicians .......a lot to learn and admire for me....thanks to youtube for making it all happen......i can listen to such heavenly sounds....see such passionate people actually make it all so much meaningful.
They are playing the song in the key of G major. It can be played in 1st position on a G harp but most pros will use a C harmonica in 2nd position to get a better sound with easier bends. My two favorites on that stage are Charlie McCoy and Buddy Greene. I heard more of the heart and soul of the song from their renditions.
Great Harmonica players...They are playing in the key of "C"...See ya-All on UA-cam next week...perhaps...and it is possible...I will play along with these "GREATs" as I play what I call my "Play-alongers" style with them. Kinda funny at the end when they're all playing together...sounds like some of them are still trying to solo.
True!
It would be helpful for us harmonica students if we knew which key or keys of harmonica they were using.
