I will say this video giving me the confidence to do this myself. It’s very clear instructions and overall will save me money. I want to give this a try because I think paying someone might be the easy way out. If I try and accomplish it myself I’m learning something that can benefit me a thousand times over.
That unit, with these sockets, harnesses. It reminds me bmws. Im pretty sure this is the one they used on F series. Even the t20 screw holes in the same place for the f30s.

All of them aren’t if it was made before a certain build date it’s not able to get Apple car play which is corny as hell this is tht only way to get it on the car crazy
car infotaiment has compatibility with android auto/car play only from the end of 2017 onwards, it just required a software tweak to activate, meanwhile the 1st gen hardware built earlier has not this option and required the extra module aftermarket

Pro trick : watch series at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.

How could I get more info on this product? This is what I felt was missing in my 2017.
What happens when you try ti use the cars oem functions like swirching the dna mode? Does it still display the image?
Is it possible to install MY20 in these, or any other alfa connect kit?

It will, I did it to mine like 6 months ago. I got it off of some Alpha forum link, I think it was like $550 or so

Aren't they pre-wired for AA and Apple Carplay? The dealer charges $200 for the reflash.

driver footwell panel is annoying to remove, i removed the 2 screws but i was afraid of breaking the pannel grabbing it off...
Well. I was doing great until I stripped the inner screw holding the original unit in place. F$&k lol
