While I certainly appreciate Justin's intellectual views concerning the Bible, I think he gets it wrong in saying healing/gifts are no longer for today.Yes. The Apostles had the gifts of healing and more but it was through the Holy Spirit. Yes. The Apostles have died but the Holy Spirit is forever and all the gifts are still available to whomever believes.
I love to hear God's word, but they have changed get so many words from the original KJV that I am almost afraid they have taken away from God's Word. (Just saying)
Translating from the original text is best. The meaning is the most important thing. Automobile and car is an example of what I’m talking about
Keep in mind KJ is also a translation.

But it was taken from the original manuscripts. Not watered down as some versions are today.
Some versions are even leaving out the trinity.
@@t.4493 the KJV is was taken from the Geneva Bible. King James didn't like the commentary that's in the Geneva Bible, it was removed in deference to him . The Pilgrams used the Geneva Bible. The Wycliffe Translation came out in 1382, Tyndall's in 1525, Coverdale-1535, KJV in 1611...I couldn't find the Geneva Bible's date, but sources agree that KJV came from that particular translation.
