If God spoke to you, it is equivalent to what He said in the Bible. God does not ever speak with different levels of authority. You may have hear a voice but it was not God! You are deceived and a deceiver.
He says we are to "seek FIRST God's kingdom and HIS righteousness...". What is HIS righteousness?

I had an experience. I had a drinking problem for years . I had been traumatized, and I started drinking alcohol to deal with the pain. This issue I had went on for years. I got very sick. I hit my rock bottom. I cried out to God for the first time in my life please me help me. I have never touched liquor since , and I have 8 years of sobriety . It's a miracle because I thought I would never stop. I was an atheist as a practicing alcoholic. It's like i heard that I needed to repent for my sins first before he would help me. I did . I believe I have been saved. He helps me in other areas in my life. Praise the good lord.
You are a life transformed by God; a living testament to the power, and the reality, of God. That's wonderful. I look forward to meeting you on the New Earth someday.

Because you ask… I began to read and underline the Words in the KJB . In a matter of months the entire Bible was color gel, ink , some ugly smears. I am in love with my Bible and Jesus. A profound change in me.
When anyone says a scripture by name and number I feel already a part of it.
I am on my third Bible, giving it to a family member to save.
My sheep hear MY VOICE, and I know them, and they follow Me ✨️
This is so true. I have followed too many “preachers “ and people who say God told me” that I don’t listen to someone unless I have prayed about them and have a peace about their teachings. I haven’t gone to church in years, many years, because of wrong teachings and because I was hurt like many others have been. Tomorrow I am starting a church and I truly feel the Lord brought me here to attend it. Thank you for your video. You’re one of the very few I listen to and know it’s coming from the Word of God. 🙏❤️

I read and listen to a live DVD of the KJV with a Hebrew,Aramaic and Greek dictionary is the only way to truly understand the Bible the English language has become Babble.
@Kim-js8jf I couldn’t agree with you more. To me, nothing replaces, reading and studying and meditating on what you read. To me The Bible teachers in the west have not properly taught the congregates on how to study the word until recent years. And that’s only because we know more about the ancient Israelites And their culture

As a teenager in 2015, I remember hearing God's audible voice. It was during a time when I was going through the motions and I had dealt with a lot of things mentally and emotionally. As soon as God spoke to me, I immediately sobbed in tears. It was something I never expected in my life, but here we are.
You did not hear from God. You are completely delf deluded and self deceived. Repent!
He does speak though. It's rare. But it happens. I don't know whether it was an angel or God himself, but I was awaken during the night one night by an audible voice saying get up, then had an image of one of my sons in my head ( and I don't see things in my head) I went to him, he had somehow managed to get a cord and wrapped himself completely up in it. I know the Lord saved him that night.
Yes the word of God is absolutely enough, but God does still speak to his people.

Not skeptical. Brother, I have heard His voice, and I can tell you this your very being. Your spirit knows it as truth beyond truth. I can't find the words. But you are right. Many are seeking those people out 3:55 and believe everything they say. Those that are saying they see an angel every day or say they have a word for you everyday. I guess they have to stay revelant and get clicks. Thank you for all you do. What God has said to me.i will keep to myself.
If God wants you to speak his words he will say it so do not worry. Yes there is people who believe anyone sadly. What pains me a lot is theses Mary visitations maybe some are from God i don’t know what i know is after this there is a new cult to praise Mary.
@neortik7 lot of unbiblical stuff for sure. I think that maybe in some of people's experiences, God did speak to them. But,and this is a big but. It was for a specific thing. Not continuous. Or they misused the gift .it became about them. Examples would be the lives of King Saul. He disqualified himself but still tried to do Holy Things, Samson, jehu, and later King Solomon. King David even sinned, but he repented, yet his kingdom diminished somewhat. A lot of your yt prophets are doing for themselves trying to generate content. They do not know what judgement they are bringing on their own heads.

When you see street preachers and the reaction of pure hatred from passers by ,you know the people are hearing the truth being preached .
Street preachers are notorious at not spreading the Gospel. There are so many bad street preachers, droning on about the same thing all the time. "Jesus loves, he loves you so much, you don't understand how much he loves you." etc. That is of course all true, but it is not the Gospel. It rarely helps people understand what God says to us through the Bible. That we are sinners and we need the sacrifice of Jesus to cover out debts to God. Now I understand that there is, as you say, immense hatref for christians and those that try to preach in public. But I cannot help thinking that if they had chosen a different tactic it could be better. The world needs street preachers like Ray Comfort, Todd Friel etc. People who have shown that they know how to talk to non believers about these topics.
@@thomasgoddokken 100% in agreement with you on that ,there is another guy ( give me an answer) who goes to college campuses preaching, never loses his head ,even with some nasty trick questions but this brother, i think it's Cliff and his son now does it with him ,they even go to prisons to preach.
@@jamesmcallister9645 Cliff Knechtle? He is very good at apologetics. And he presents the Gospel now and then. But people like Todd and Ray go straight for the hearts of men when they are witnessing. Their strategy is in my mind the best strategy, and when you see them do their thing, you can literallt see the workings of the Holy Ghost inside of them. I don't get that with Cliff Knechtle. Perhaps because he preaches to a bigger audience, while Ray and Todd usually go one on one. Even though you are "only" speaking to "one" person like they do, million others see the conversations. I mean. I wasn't saved by Ray or Todd, but they have helped me immensely since I was born again. And I am very grateful to them. I think they whill have loft titles in heaven. I'm just glad I get to go. See you there bro

I believe God can speak to us however He wants to speak to us, but you make a great point. We shouldn't be so quick to trust those who say that God told them this or that. Instead, we should use God's Word as the ultimate authority.

False pastors use the phrase “ God spoke to me “ to gain money and power from gullible people in their congregation. It’s very sad that they are not being fed the word, but also being used to line their pockets by deception, the congregation are giving so much more than they can afford.

We do hear the Holy Spirit in Spirit, same as an audible voice; we also hear through the word of God, Jesus! Your not wrong, keep up the good work, Amen!
There are those who do experience the hearing of a voice. The Holy Spirit? I know a gentleman who experienced this profoundly. As a young man he had become a Freemason and was quickly rising through the ranks. During one dark ceremony, a ritual burial in a literal coffin, he heard distinctly a voice shout to him " YOU'RE IN WITH THE WRONG LOT!! GET OUT NOW!!! ".
He left Freemasonry, which is clearly satanic, and committed himself to Christ the following week. He often speaks to groups about the evil of Freemasonry and his escape from it.
He heard a voice. He says it was The Holy Spirit. I absolutely believe him.

If God speaks it is with His full authority always. Anytime God speaks it is equal in every way to the Bible. You and Joseph Smith and the Mormon cult believe the same heresy.
@neverpc4404 that does not say anything about how God will no longer speak to us. He has indeed spoken to us in his Son. If you get new revelation that does not line up with the word of God then of course you ar win error. And we have to be weary because there's many who lie and say they gmhave received a word from God. But you are denying the power of God when you deny that he will speak through His Spirit. We were given a helper and a comforter.
Not only that but the deciples were told not to worry about what to say, but that they would be told what to say when they needed to. How does that line up with your thinking?

I am TRUSTING in Jesus 1001% and knowing the times in which we live and looking daily for Him. See, this is why you listen to the video and not just react on the title. I just recently found you and have enjoyed listening to you, but the title shook me up. I thought, "Oh no, here's another False teacher! But that's why you listen to the video. Because titles don't always tell you everything. And I'm certainly glad that I do that. Very true on what he said....that is not to say that people don't hear the Word of God in an audible manner....I heard Him speak to me twice (that i can remember), and i presume it's the Holy Spirit...
Nothing dramatic like prophecy or anything like that but soft voices that urge me to do certain things....like this one time when this guy was who i barely knew, randomly started spewing threats at me out of the blue, and I heard an audible voice say to me, "Say, God Bless you"...i just ignored it at first thinking it was someone random, and then He said it again, "Say, God Bless you!"....so i said "God Bless you" to that guy, and that guy responded with an angry "Who told you?" and then huffed and puffed before he walked out....needless to say i was confused with this whole situation, and only realized what had happened YEARS later....
God works in mysterious ways. All Glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I've had God give me a view in my mind of where I am to minister at times. I think God still gives specific direction to us as we are living under the commands of Scripture.

Yes,yes and yes! Reading the Bible over and over and being engage to learn or hear something from the scriptures is helping me understand what God is saying. I have done this since 2019 usually before I go to sleep but sometimes through the day and every-time I read it anew there is often something I read that jumps out at me that I cannot recollect reading before and I needed to hear it. I find the Holy Bible very interesting now, so it gets easier to read and I take my time. There are some fantastic stories in there about the past ! There is also some gruesome stories that are hard for me to read but I keep going because every word that comes out of the mouth of God matters!

At first, I thought you were joking, and then I thought, "Oh no. He's not really going to say that God "spoke" to him. Is he? What a relief to find out that the "voice" you heard was your app! You really have a great sense of humor, Matt. I love it.
It drives me crazy when I see thumbnails of UA-camrs saying that God "spoke" to them, or even crazier, "I saw so and so in Hell, and this is what he said to me." Usually, it's always some famous celebrity who passed away. Crazy videos.
I remember years ago, a pastor by the name of Jack Hayford out in Southern California said one time, "If you wish to hear the voice of God, you've just signed your own death warrant", or perhaps the words were "death certificate", I don't remember. What I just quoted, is not verbatim, but I think it's pretty close to what he said. I don't remember what he went on to say, but perhaps the point of his comment was this:
God is so holy and so splendid, that in our present, and not yet resurrected bodies, to audibly hear God's voice would be terrifying; so terrifying, in fact that such an incident could very well bring on instant death. And because God knows this, he mercifully chooses not to let us hear his voice because he knows that the power coming from it, would frighten us, like huge claps of thunder. It's for this reason why Joseph Smith never saw, nor heard, the voice of God. Had that really happened as he claimed, he would have either died on the spot from fright, or he would have lost his mind, overcome by the presence of God's brilliance and majesty. The Bible says that God lives in unapproachable light, so while we still live in these pre-resurrected bodies on a pre-resurrected Earth, how can _anyone_ say they've seen God? It's just not possible.
However, the Bible says that someday, _"everyone_ will see him --- even those who pierced him" (Revelation 1:7).

I love the way you used humor to make a very important point: that as Christians, we need to be discerning as to who we listen to, especially those who say they've heard the "voice" of God. I'm just sorry that some of the commenters didn't get the joke. But that's okay. You keep going with your great and biblical content. I also heard His audible voice, 21 years ago, on August 2, 2003 at 8:20am. At that moment, the veil that had been over my mind for 49 1/2 years, was ripped away. I believe you.

@@neverpc4404from my experience it was not further revelation as you say. It was a command to do a specific thing.and I didn't. I was scared. But I can say this when it happened you know that you know that you know. It is just a truth. Your inner spirit recognizes who is speaking. But I also realize that you still have the ability to choose. I have regretted the choice I made. And repented of it many times and still wonder what would have happened if i had obeyed. It was a test for me.i have been forgiven but it is still a missed opportunity, as a witness for God. Many churches preach that all the miracles stopped with the apostles. They never stopped. People became so evil that they stopped believing in the God who does them. What we have for worship for the most part is a worship of the system. The idea of what we think God is supposed to be. Have you yourself read the whole Bible? Or are you repeating something someone has said? I can't speak for anybody else. But in the early 2000s I had a demon possessed man with black glassy eyes threaten me. Before that I didn't believe in it either that was stuff that happened 2000 years ago. So there is alot more going on. If you want to know who God is. Get down on your face and cry out with everything you have and ask Him to show you. To speak to you. You will never be the same again. But you don't have to believe me anyway. Just don't come at people without walking in their shoes. I do not claim to be better than anybody else. God's been merciful to me more than I deserve.

@@neverpc4404 have tried to post this but here goes again. Based on My experience it wasn't a revelation as you say. It was a specific command to do. And I was scared to death. Overwhelmed. And I failed. Later repented and was forgiven. Say what you want to, you were not there and have not walked in my shoes but are still passing judgement on what you do not know. Have you ever read completely through the Bible until it falls apart? I am on my 3rd one. Anyway back to the voice. My Spirit witnessed it as God. It is more true than truth itself. Hard to explain. If you want to know the truth get down on your face and humble yourself and ask God to show you. Surrender everything. Offer it all up. Your career. Your dreams. Everything you depend on. That is what it takes.

Is prophecy and hearing God’s audible voice the same thing? In my own journey in understanding the role of prophecy for today’s Christian, I had a breakthrough just this afternoon! While I’ve been holding modern day prophets at arms length (and even categorizing them as sketchy), I was listening to today’s scripture (June 3, 2024) in The Listener’s Bible… Acts 2. Listen to the words of Apostle Peter! 17 In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
That struck me like it never did before! This is my 6th time listening through the entire Bible in the past 4 years. As you said Matt, the scripture is infallible… it’s 100% dependable! If anyone doesn’t think Peter, quoting the prophet Joel, was talking to us in 2024, read that passage in context of the surrounding verses 😮

(Some people were talking about Rapture dreams and I assumed if they were immersed in eschatology it would be natural to dream about it). But then I remembered those verses about dreams and visions. 🤔 God's Holy Spirit is definitely "speaking" to us! 🌟 God bless you! 🙏

In about fraction of a second, I had 22 words coming to me at once, I wrote them down; (summarization) at day nobody repents their wrongs in rooms but celebrate them in halls at night. I have heard an audible voice, that spoke my name, on two separate occasions, I checked but no one besides me was home. I have had a dream, where I was asked a question; "Do you trust me?" And a dream, where there was a person, that I knew to be Jesus. The spoken name, could be referencing Isaiah 43:1, if so, then God claimed it twice. We may want hearing a voice, or having a dream, but God speaks personally and directly, to those that are in need, not those who are in want. People in M.E., dream, of Jesus, because they have need.
I did hear that small, small voice of God. He said to me that He is faithful.
It is amazing the first time you hear God voice... People don't understand, you can be walking along and hear a person speaking to you and no one else can hear it, because it is God Word just for you... Prepare yourself and be warned, there are other voices out there... But you will always know when it is God's...!! Go with God

I've heard The Father (through His holy spirit) speak to me a few times, so He does speak to those who will listen an hear Him...... this is one thing He said to me> years ago I had a 🚗 an every time I turned turned it off an tried to start it up again it wouldn't start so I thought I needed a new battery but it turns out I needed a alternator and I was driving an that's what He spoke to me. Yes I heard Him speak planely to me an He told me these exact words "you need an alternator "

Quick note! If you do hear the holy spirit and have that gift share it to only those who are as Christ, otherwise the enemy will use it against you AND your family down to your children's children.
The best outcome is that they believe you whilst most outcomes lead to a mental eval and hold. Sure use the gift, but don't speak of it! Remember, It's not selfish to protect yourself especially from Satan as he aims to distort all gifts from the father. Same goes for dreams and visions to a lesser degree. Listen to your intuition and step back when needed!
Some pastors are so good at teaching that it’s like hearing God directly. Well-read and exposited Bible teachings can open up the Word in ways I cannot. My favorites are John MacArthur,
RC Sproul and Chris Roseborough.
When I studied with the Mormon missionary fellas I was reading their book, had my proof texts, they were reading scripture to find their proof texts. They kept saying "pray and ask God if this of ours is true". And I did that (not seriously thinking I needed to switch to their church), I mean like I told them, the Ten Commandments are in the Book of Mormon, and of course like many Christians they break the 4th one about the Sabbath, and I said, "If ya'll followed your book you'd be Seventh-day Adventists." But I prayed that prayer---is it true? And first (I was slow to catch it) in sort of the back of my mind I started to hear "1 John". Then I realized---you know---and I read 1 John, and when I got to 1John 2:27 I realized I had found what He said to me. "As for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things, and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit---just as it has taught you, remain in Him." And I'd not read that before that I'd remembered, He had to give me that. Now and again a similar thing will happen.

God certainly can talk to us, but it does need to line up what's in the bible. I had an experience after my husband died. I was worrying about the future and making ends meet. I heard the Lord tell me,'You dont need to worry about that'. I was shocked but got such peace. Of course, we don't need to worry. The bible tells us this. He will provide our needs. We just need to trust in Him.
I also had the privilege to hear His voice audibly on a few occasions, and He appeared to me to reveal that He is body ánd spirit.
I agree im guilty of this im searching prophets too much i know that i have find three real one but we can be deceived easily

As someone who has had communication with the Almighty God, i can honestly say it is better than to have blind faith. Blind faith did not have, Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses and all the prophets. Everyone can have the Almighty reveal himself to them in divers manners, you have to really believe and ask for God to reveal himself. Have patients, lots, it takes time, it took me nearly 2 years before i had the Vision, but i was persistant, every day, every opportunity and following instructions from scripture, reading scripture, meditating on scipture all day every day.
my message is this, the Almighty wants to reveal himself to all of us, it was his intention from the beginning.

I looked up into the clouds every day and every chance i had, looking for the Lord to reveal himself in the clouds. The vision i received and a women besides me also is nothing but amazing and to be honest it has taken another 2 years to understand and comprehend what i saw.

I was in despair that I could not do anything to serve the Lord and said .’what good am I, Lord? I heard a voice which said ‘get up to your computer and I will give you what to write’ Which I did. Then flowed words which were gospel tracts - over a period of time, more than 20. These are still being used now by our pastor in the street, and also an African pastor, and I still place them on Facebook for others to use if they wish. I know the tracts were of the Holy Spirit,

Also the Lord knew that with my illness, I am not always able to speak as my muscles are too weak. To operate my vocal chords. I know we do need to be careful what we hear, of course. But what about the beautiful hymns etc that have also been written over the years. They must have been of God given to his people. The lord also gave me a poem when I was a young believer which certainly was not of me! The words were all scriptural

Great click bait! Audio Bible. I listen to the Bible on CD. Yep...I am old. I am an auditory learner and it really helps my daily walk with the Lord to hear His Perfect word read aloud. I hear His voice, too. Just Jesus! Nothing added or subtracted.

I say this humbly and in love. I sure hope this wasn't about making fun of people who may genuinely hear from God at some point and have taken the matter very biblically. I struggled so much with posting something I believe was from God. Didn't hear an audible voice, but God can speak through a donkey if he wants. I comfirmed with my pastors, Bible, etc...This was genuinely hurtful to a degree, and some of the comments...though I thouroughly agree on testing everything and false prophets..etc..Remember your noncessacionist brothers and sisters who may still be growing in discernment. I am mature in Christ and it still hurt. Blessings.

I did mention in this video “whether one believes we still hear from God or not.”
I understand how people can take it, but the intention of this video was to use hyperbole, to demonstrate that many people are too quick to listen to people claiming to hear from God (including those who have previously been proven false).
Maybe I could have clarified my position further in this video.

The Lord spoke to me as I was in the middle of prayer to him about a certain person. He spoke into my spirit something I never would've thought.
I had then decided to not speak of it to that person, and to just watch and see if what I had received of the Lord was indeed from him, and was true. It has been sadly proven to me for almost 2 years now to be true, despite my efforts in the word of God for this person.
The words the Lord had spoken to me were, "Her heart is not with me."
We can plant, and we can water, but God gives the increase; but a heart that is defiled by (recently revealed) selfish desires, is not a fertile ground, and certainly not with Jesus. 😔💔
That's very similar to something I experienced. It was an angel, and all I saw of it was camouflage, like a soldier's uniform.
I had been praying about someone who was very antagonistic to me at church, she just persecuted me without cause. But it was also about two other women.
One of them had done great physical harm deliberately to more than one person, over money and lack of faith. Another was well known as a Christian but always seemed lukewarm.
The angel said, "she did what was evil in the sight of God". One if them had been more or less Christian but fallen back, then, saved at the last minute before she died.
I did not want to hear this about them, but the last one in particular. But she did do great evil.
I have definitely heard a voice that is not of God, a few times. So I was in doubt, but maybe need to pray more.

Agree with you, and what the Word says about itself. It is completely sufficient to equip us today to be what the Lord intends us to be. We have only to respond to it. It is God-breathed inspiration on every page, and He has preserved it for us.
I clicked on the video because I have actually heard the Voice of God speak to me on multiple occasions with miracles each time confirming. Though mine was not audible, though several times it was close. And several other times He also did it visually. And the first time is in direct relation To my first and last name and a major famous Biblical miracle on a small scale, with multiple witnesses still alive today, that is also recorded by the government. One of my kids have also had God speak to them once. So for these reasons I was curious if you also. I'm not a prophet just someone God has in effect given me the privilege stick my hands in the nail prints.
In short, write prophecy and dreams down securely and don't be quick to look for signs in the prophetic especially online because they may not be for you, but also don't ignore them because God will try to reach us using them as well! Gifts are gifts and sometimes they fit the situation as well as warn. But an adulterous generation goes LOOKING for a sign because we walk with faith. Doesn't mean the sign isn't validating.
The true definition of PROPHECY goes way beyond God communicating scripture and the future to people. Nathaniel was known prophet of God, and yet nothing he said was recorded in scripture prior to his encounter with David. Jonah was known as a prophet of God and the only thing recorded about his ministry in scripture is him telling of his greatest failures before God.
What is recorded from the PROPHET Nathaniel? Him confronting David in the Spirit and in love, and telling him an inspired story from God
meant to break David’s heart and bring him to repentance. Nathaniel was a prophet because he was a vessel of God’s wisdom to those around him.

It is to say in a cheeky way (that I didn't even understand at first) that if you want to hear God speak audibly, you do that through listening to an audio Bible. Perhaps he can be faulted on the fact that he didn't make this very clear. The execution of the idea is perhaps not that well thought out. But you can not faul him for being decieving or lying to us.

I have heard God speak to me also, but it was in His New International Voice.
It is like how they say, "you can catch lightning in a bottle". I have God's voice on a 4th Gen Ipod.
