I was wondering even if it was possible to tumble granite down? Thank you for the answer I work at a quarry that crushes some of the hardest granite on the east coast it is unbelievable how strong it is watching it being crushed or a stubborn piece hydraulic hammer bounce off a boulder. There is different type of granite I’ve seen more of a oink color I might grab some of it to try to run though the tumbler. Cool vide thanks for posting it
Yes* Railway ballast needs to be made up of very hard rock, igneous rocks like quartzite and granite are popular, but the potassium feldspar may not be as prominent as they are in the granite in this video
