  • Temu could very well be the promised land for those of us who are paid biweekly but still want the hottest new products... or cheap knockoffs of them. In this video I put Temu's quality to the test with my own little boxing twist!
We all love a good shopping hall so join me for this mini Temu hall and temu review. More specifically I look at cheap boxing gloves and cheap boxing equipment to let you know if any of it is worth it. I also look at cheap boxing headgear but I don’t test it because fighter safety is important. This might be the cheapest boxing setup you can get. It may not be the worlds best boxing equipment but I will give an honest opinion on this cheap boxing glove review.

Thank you for sharing this insightful video! Your demonstration highlights the importance of investing in quality gear rather than opting for the cheapest options. Look forward for more reviews on budget friendly quality gears. BTW, You know you could refund the cheapest gloves, their after-sales policy is superb.

Thank you for the kind comment! And thanks for letting me know about the return policy. I think I’ll keep the gloves though. I feel a strange sentimentality towards them now.

Buy yourself a proper pair of boxing gloves. Doesn't matter if it is just for punching the heavy bag at home. Life is too short for you to use shitty equipment. It is several brands that would be a good choice. Personally I can recommend Rival gloves.

I bought 10-dollar Bonsem boxing gloves from Temu. It feels like a normal boxing glove when it comes to a punching bag and light sparring. a friend of mine and I did 1 round with them, as they did not have their own boxing gloves and I got a mild concussion from it. We did not go hard, like 40-50% of the power, usually would go 20-30% but had not done so for a while so underestimated our strength, did not feel anything when blocking, but he hit me in the head once. I never could have imagined they were this dangerous and just 1 bad punch could cause a headache for 3-4 days. Certainly would only use them for very light sparring/practicing from now on...
TLDR: doesn't hurt hands, but causes a concussion for your opponent even if you don't go hard!

I bought some boxing/Muay gear from Temu. I got mitts which are super nice. Two pairs of Muay Thai shorts, excellent quality. Shinguards however, were complete garbage.

Hey man glad you want to be a boxer. Boxing really helped me in my life so I love seeing more people get into the sport. I can’t say I recommend getting into street fights though. You said you can’t go to a gym? Is there not one nearby or another reason? In the meantime there’s plenty of great videos on UA-cam that can teach you some basics! Here’s some channels I like
      1. Tony Jeffries
      2.eboxing academy
      3.the modern martial artist
      4.hard to hurt
      5.precision striking
Some of those channels are more theory based while some are more demonstration based. You can find a lot of great drills on some of those channels too. And if you search you can find while guided workouts.
Once you learn the basics watch boxing matches. Mute the commentary and just watch the fighters and what they do. Take note of how they move and set up punches.
Lastly lots of great books out there on how to box. Some of them by great boxers. I’d recommend Jack Dempseys championships fighting to start. Some of the info is a little dated but it’s still a very useful tool.
Sorry this is long winded but you can also stick around this channel and I’ll have some boxing theory videos along with tutorials! Thanks for the support and the question.

biggest advice is to never listen to youtubers, go to an old school boxing gym, even if you go for one month you will never regret it! not to shit on bro making the video but he doesn't even know how to keep his guard up properly, the information you'd gain from a real boxer be it amateur could change your perspective on this sport

Hey man no offense taken. I agree gym is the best place to learn! Op said he couldn’t go to a gym so I do think some online instruction is better than no instruction. I’ve been hitting the gym for about two years now and most of what I know I was taught by a person right in front of me not behind a screen. I also totally agree my guard gets sloppy especially when I’m tired (which I was). It’s a journey trying to get better everyday! Thanks for the comment and the advice!

Bro not to be mean but you js got weak wrist u need to practice on the bag barehanded if u can't punch a bag with your barehands that's concerning Im 14 and can mack at my bag with all my body yes at first it use to cut my knuckles and hurt my wrist but you get immune so 8 ounce gloves should feel like punching a bed not a brick wall
