I appreciate the fact that you brought new grammar bits and pieces into the sentences as the video progressed. Overall i think its very digestable and great content
I’ve been studying Japanese for a year now, your videos are great way to review what I’ve learned and I also like you bring kanjis to the sentences. ありがとう
I like this video, it's better than a few videos because most of the verbs used are in Kanji form, like 食べます instead of たべます because although Kanji is hard, it's necessary to learn, otherwise the text that's written with Hiragana only is simple and childish, and can cause confusion due to hononyms and は(ha) being pronounced as "wa" in particle form. Learning Kanji is just as important as learning uppercase letters.
@@サミュエル先生です Yes, they are. They tell us if it's a proper noun, like the name of a place or a person. It also helps us find where the beginning of a sentence is, and a lot more.
This is amazing. We're not only learning verbs but whole sentences with many vocabulary words!! Thank you so much! It's sad that you don't make more videos exactly like this one! They would've been so helpful
This one might be the single best video on UA-cam for Japanese beginners. What you did here is absolutely fantastic. I hope you keep with the long videos!
Arigatou gozaimasu! This video is just perfekt for learning new verbs and what forms exists. Really helps to recognise them when hearing or reading. Also seeing the action expressed with the pictures helps to memorise them.
Thank you. This is one of the best informative videos I have ever seen. Set up in a Very clear manner with lots of useful verb, grammar, vocabulary, structure, all included. Please make more like this.
Thank you for the great lesson! I learned some things in this video that had nothing to do with verbs like when to use をand に particles and I paused and was able to translate some of the sentences on my own. It’s a great feeling thank you so much.
Your video benefits me in various aspects : Saki provided roma ji that ease me to memorize the Japanese word and Kangi's pronounciation. Many other channel's video did not provide such. She also explained clearly every words in the example and showed many examples how to apply verb conjugation in Japanese Tenses.
A couple years back I started learning Japanese with Rosetta Stone (there was no duolingo yet) and in one of the first lessons is the te+imasu pattern from 13:29 but it was never explained. “Onnanoko wa mizu o nonde imasu” now I know it’s the te-form of nomu
Oh wow this is so useful. I thought it might be beyond my level, but the explanation of every word in the examples was brilliant. I can see myself watching this video over and over.
Hello. This is the single most useful viceo iv come across not just to learn verbs but japanese in general. These examples and conjugation variety are perfect. The slow pronouncistion helps too. Subscribed, liked, and appreciated very much, thank you! Arigatou gozaimasu
Excellent video for learning Japanese. One small problem for me is that I use iPod (ear phone) to listen to this video and the “bam” sound at the end of each sentence is so loud and sharp which actually makes me stop listening after 10 minutes.
Thank you so much for taking the time and care to create this very comprehensive video, Saki-sensei. I just completed an N5 preparatory course and this video has been super helpful in reinforcing what I have learned, particularly since you always took care to explain the bunpo behind the verb conjugation and its purpose and the use of particles.
At first I thought it was a bit annoying that all the words were in polite form, but in the end I found it fun deciphering them back to their plain form, which I’m sure helps me strengthen my memory.
The reason I used Masu form was that almost all textbooks teach Masu form first. Also in most Japanese language schools in Japan, we teach polite form first. This is why it lets beginners enjoy watching this video as well. I want many people to watch my videos as many as possible :)! Thank you for watching!
Very good video. A lot of work and that can be seen in the quality of the result. Superb content😀 and soooo much better that AI generated lessons. Thank you for your time and dedication Saki sensei.
Hello Saki せんせい. I have been learning Japanese for 4 months. And I have noticed that one of the most difficult things for me in Japanese is learning new vocabulary. Because I don't know the correct order of learning. I don't know if it's better to learn the new vocabulary in hiragana or hiragana with Kanji (I haven't seen kanji yet). In the end, I feel that it takes me a long time to learn a small amount of vocabulary. Thanks for the video, greetings from Costa Rica.
there is no thing such as a definite correct order to learn, you should choose whatever you think is best for you. i am not the sensei, but i would recommend you to learn vocabulary both in hiragana and kanji. as time passes you will recognize many different kanjis if you start learning them now instead of waiting. also, do not focus too much on learning word by word, and practice handwriting just until you feel comfortable with it. if you have time, i advise you to lookup for 'comprehensible input' on youtube, there's also Matt vs Japan's channel in which he describes how he used this method (comprehensible input) to learn japanese, and also checkup Benjamin Keep's video covering free recall (I strongly recommend his channel for anyone who wants to learn anything).
あなたのチャネルが素晴らしいですね。 I love the fact that you not only give sentence examples but also explain them, it's really helpful. please keep making videos like this! I just got one suggestion: white background might hurt some people's eyes, which is my case. so if you could use a darker color in the background, would make your videos much more comfortable to watch during late at night.
Hi ! I don’t know if you have a separate video for conjugation, but it would be really helpful If you could mention the plain form of each verb that you mention in mas form. Because when I hear just the mas form, I don’t know what the plain form is. Your videos are amazing regardless .Thank you so much !

This is very helpful! Thank you for making this easy to just listen to! This is unimportant for most people, so please feel free to ignore this input if it is difficult to edit. For photosensitive viewers like me, the bright white background is difficult on our eyes. I would like to read along for reading practice some day. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this vlog!
Sorry, I just read your comment. I've already posted another video with a white background, but could you please tell me which colors are easier on your eyes? I agree that it's too bright. I wanted to use a real white wall, but my home doesn't have one. That's why I purchased white foam boards to use as a background, but it ended up looking messy. If you have any good ideas, could you please share them with me?
さき先生、ありがとうfor your consideration! I don’t want you to incur any extra expense or trouble. Tips for people: When you press left arrow button on keyboard, you will rewind 5 seconds.
