I'm thinking of making a gift for my GF with blender. I want to make her dream home filled with all of our memories and old memories of her dog that she lost who she really loved. However instead of just showing her the home, I want to plug it in into a game engine and give her the ability to move around and interact with all of our memories :) It would be great to see a tutorial from you of a step by step video on how you make your games from scratch! Just seeing another non-professional person play around with both unreal and blender makes me feel hopeful that maybe I can create games in the future too haha

Can you explain the problem with faling true the floor after the dead screen pops up Try this befor you create the wiget set game paused this will pause the game and wont make you fall true the floor But there are more option but ill play the game two to see what the problem is

I set the floor as a trigger instead of an actual collider because it needed to go through walls (mountains), so you fall through it. There is such thing as “pause game”?! Nice! Thanks I will look into it!
@@juliestrator you dont have to set a trigger for the floor you cab also animate is and then using a timeline to make it move and then you can make a trigger then the player enters the floor starts to move or you can set this in the level blueprint and then on the begin play set a small delay then the timline to make the floor move And yes drag off the add to view port and then type set game paused but best is to set the set game paused right befor you call the wiget Like this set game paused > create wiget > add to view port

Will probably make a short summary video of what I learned when I’m back! And as for next project it could be ANYTHING! Isn’t that exciting?!

The rocks did you import to unreal engine one by one or you import the map together ?
i had all 4 assets in the center of the coords in blender, exported in fbx and and unreal separated them. and then i placed them in unreal in a map!
