I made a check if the playercharacter is touching something, so that he can only jump = apply force upwards if hes standing on sth. I didnt check for only ground, bc that would mean you cant jump when standing on an object. So what happened was: it works fine unless you run face first into a 90° wall and jump. Kinda like a coilgun, you will be accelerated upwards along the whole length of the wall. Bc the code still says "yup touching a surface, can jump". The higher the wall; the faster you go. It literally catapults you into the sky

I fell through the floor and didn't realize that wasn't supposed to be part of the game until I restarted the level and it spawned me after the "pit" I had fallen into. I also love the fact that you can see you're just a CapsuleCollider in the light in the end room; it's a nice touch. (I gotta say, though, I was not fully convinced that the end of the game was actually the end until I was booted to the title screen.)

Cube and button based testing remains an important tool for science. Even in a dire emergency! If cube and button based testing CAUSED this emergency, don't worry! The odds of this happening twice, are VERY slim.
I was honestly disappointed there wasn't any hidden function to the "Restart level" button. On the level with three buttons I restarted like 3 times because I was pretty sure there's some way to duplicate blocks by restarting.
Imagine if that was a level you ability to box jump is disabled, but you have one box on a special platform. Upon restarting the level there are now two boxes. You must build yourself a staircase to get to the next level.
Adding my previous comment. Once you learn you can duplicate. Next puzzle duplicate the player, which will do exactly what you do (only one dup of the player can exist at once. For now) You duplicate the play, and a box infront of dup. You move forward and press pick up box. Dup picks up box, even though you have nothing You move the dup (as i said they 1 to 1 do what you do) to a button and hit the drop box. Door opens. Dup dies when you head out......oh and they are blue.
Third comment. Third room with dupped player. Player can box jump again. Player must guide box jumping dup up to the button and put the box on the button.
I'm gonna make a game as an honor to skyrim. May take a year, may take 10. I want to mix it with better graphics, actually realistic character animation, bugs that can be useful, but not abused. I've also had experience and slight guidance in the art of rpgs. I had an abusive mother, I learned to read and recreate emotions very well. The same thing happened to me. In one of the levels the blocks can push you through the wall into the void and that's an actual glitch in the game.

Imagine if that was a level you ability to box jump is disabled, but you have one box on a special platform.

You duplicate the play, and a box infront of dup.
You move forward and press pick up box. Dup picks up box, even though you have nothing
You move the dup (as i said they 1 to 1 do what you do) to a button and hit the drop box.
Door opens. Dup dies when you head out......oh and they are blue.

in this case a missing bug is a bug. So he did the job well.

I'm gonna make a game as an honor to skyrim. May take a year, may take 10. I want to mix it with better graphics, actually realistic character animation, bugs that can be useful, but not abused. I've also had experience and slight guidance in the art of rpgs. I had an abusive mother, I learned to read and recreate emotions very well. Storytelling is something I've been practicing, and I know how to fill a big world with lots of things, massive and small, to do. Every unique story, reward, animation, easter egg, there will always be something to do. 110+ more years to do it, too.

This gave me the awesome idea of what if this was just the prologue to a bigger game. Imagine a portal situation, your in the end room and they say hey have to terminate your program but then you glitch out of the room and start escaping and then the real game begins. I have never made a game before nor do I know even the slightest thing about coding or game design as a whole but hopefully, this comment will cause someone who knows what they are doing to make that game happen.

Ironically enough, I found a unintentional bug in a game with bugs using the clipping walls with moving platform bug
I triggered a real bug, the everything turned inside out and I had to restart the game completely. It was awesome!
