I've been wanting to make some type of portal-style 3D puzzle game. Then the Wowie Jam hosted by Jonas Tyroller came around with the theme "Intentional Bugs". So... Let's do it! A game where you find bugs and glitches in the game and use them to pass each level.
In the end I managed to create a sort of interesting 3D puzzle game with like 7 levels. In the game, you play a person who has discovered they live in a simulated universe. With this, comes a new job, finding bugs in reality! There are like three or four bugs to exploit, moving platforms to jump on, boxes to pickup, and buttons to press. How exciting! - Розваги

For a room with 3 switches I came up with an idea that you could actually have 4 switches. The bug would be that after restarting the level the cube respawns at the original position but the clone is still in another room.
That's actually a pretty common bug so you could have exploited it.

Suggestions for the game: at the start of every level there should be a number indicating what level you are on and a pipe in a wall for every level with a button to spawn more boxes( to crash the game of discover new glitches)
Also items that can be picked up should have a white outline when you look at them showing that you can pick it up

I'm gonna make a game as an honor to skyrim. May take a year, may take 10. I want to mix it with better graphics, actually realistic character animation, bugs that can be useful, but not abused. And a better console command system, because skyrim's is terrible to say the least. Literally only dropped this comment because I'm learning programming and skyrim is a massive inspiration.

I've also had experience and slight guidance in the art of rpgs. I had an abusive mother, I learned to read and recreate emotions very well. Storytelling is something I've been practicing, and I know how to fill a big world with lots of things, massive and small, to do. Every unique story, reward, animation, easter egg, there will always be something to do. 110+ more years to do it, too.

I played the game, and it was amazing! I mean, I only heard like 2 minutes of the the end, but great! I exploited the pause game menu one too many times, I had two cubes where I only need one. How? Hold the cube and stand on a button. Pause. Walk through the door. When you unpause, the cube teleports to you! I especially loved the bit where the yellow moving block had to push you through the wall., Which I only got using your voice's hint and the glitch error coming when I went on the side of a yellow moving block. Great game!

I fell through the floor and didn't realize that wasn't supposed to be part of the game until I restarted the level and it spawned me after the "pit" I had fallen into. I also love the fact that you can see you're just a CapsuleCollider in the light in the end room; it's a nice touch. (I gotta say, though, I was not fully convinced that the end of the game was actually the end until I was booted to the title screen.)
The same thing happened to me. In one of the levels the blocks can push you through the wall into the void and that's an actual glitch in the game.

Nin I haven’t seen a floor that you could walk through. Only walls you could walk through
A fun bug i accidentally made when trying out a jump n run 3d game was trying to avoid double jump. I made a check if the playercharacter is touching something, so that he can only jump = apply force upwards if hes standing on sth. I didnt check for only ground, bc that would mean you cant jump when standing on an object.
So what happened was: it works fine unless you run face first into a 90° wall and jump. Kinda like a coilgun, you will be accelerated upwards along the whole length of the wall.
Bc the code still says "yup touching a surface, can jump".
The higher the wall; the faster you go.

@@mrmony7069 no, when you freeze the time, the door will remain open. The block that is needed to open dat door bij a pressure plate, can be moved during "freeze time". This way you can bring the cube to the next part.

cool trick: you can save a cube for the ending scene... thought it would be a cool easter egg to make it to where the ceiling has no collision so you can go outside the game at the very end. could be a cool easter egg. could be nice if you could add a speed run timer

Cube and button based testing remains an important tool for science. Even in a dire emergency! If cube and button based testing CAUSED this emergency, don't worry! The odds of this happening twice, are VERY slim.
