@@toviaskryptonitelll4758 Actually I agree with a lot of the stuff that you said in regards to Jewish history being corrupted in favor of emphasizing the fact that Jews are a distinct and chosen nation of God, but like Tovia mentioned before, in Christianity, there is absolutely nothing that can equivilate to the archeological significance of the dead sea scroll. Even tho I agree with you there is so much bs and myth that surrounds Judiasm. It is still nothing compare to Christianity. And I am well aware of the idea that the modern notion of the Jewish people can be an entirely invented concept. I'm also aware that there was absolutely no mentioning of Israel at all from Babylonian sources. And yes, we may never know whether or not if the second temple even existed.
I would say if I have to take the lesser of the two fake news, I still pick Judaism over Christianity. Just for their ability to be a little more modest on making up stories than most other religions.

Rabbi Singer is spot-on about how many Christian converts come to Jesus based on emotions rather than the facts (i.e. my life was falling apart until I met Jesus or Jesus delivered me from my addictions, etc.) Emotions make us vulnerable, so I believe this is why followers of Christ are so unable to see the ways in which they've been deceived and "cooked by degrees." It's imperative that we diligently study the Hebrew scriptures in order to know the truth and gain a solid understanding of Hashem's infallible and everlasting word. When the light of His truth shines on you through study, prayer and worship, you will know that you know it is correct and will not need your emotions to lead you to this conclusion.

I converted to Judaism in 2005. Ten years before, I remember arguing at a Christian bible study that the Book of Mormon is a false third testament, but isn't the New Testament also false? How do you think Jews feel when you call the Tanahk the "Old Testament?" That they have to accept the "New Testament?" Same thing! I stumped the teacher...then she admitted that Torah Jews would go to Heaven as G-d's Chosen people but that it was a much harder path to follow. No mention of Noahide Laws...we as Jews need to teach the Gentiles to be Righteous through the Noahide Laws...so they know the truth.

I know that many of my fellow Yidden are curious:
(A) why can't Christians let go of JC in the face of overwhelming evidence and (B) why are they so obsessed with me?
I want to shine some light on some concepts, but I think I should offer my "credentials":
- I was born, baptized, and even confirmed (equivalent to a Christian bar mitzvah? 😆) Lutheran Church Missouri Synod - so, old-school Protestant Christian. I think my family can trace their roots back to the Protestant Reformation.
- I went through the "Hebrew Roots / Messianic" movement for many years.
- I relinquished emunah in JC/Yeshua to embrace and convert to Judaism-which has intensified and simplified my relationship with Hashem so much. No more intermediaries-just a one-on-one relationship with Ribbono Shel Olam. B"H!
It is from my perspective that I believe I can shine some light on (A) why learned Christians don't relinquish emunah in JC and (B) why Christians are so obsessed with bringing people to emunah in JC.
A. They've been taught that letting go of JC is an eternal DEATH SENTENCE. For life-long Christians, this sense of fear and helplessness is in your bones and it takes more than a UA-cam video or even a 1,000-page book to shake it loose. Even when I had all of the information in front of me, proof that JC couldn't possibly be Mashiach or anything else that any Christians claimed him to be, I felt like a first-time BASE jumper on the edge of a cliff. It wasn't until I had the emunah in the parachute of Hashem on my back that I could spiritually leap from the cliff that I had known without plummeting into eternal damnation. However, it wasn't until I spiritually jumped that I realized I wasn't jumping off the top of a cliff, but that I was actually jumping up out of a hole into the light and embrace of HaKodesh Baruch Hu.
B. Because Christians truly believe that not having emunah in JC is a death sentence, they do what any of us would do-try to save people from this death. If you felt that everyone around you had been poisoned and that you had the only known antidote, you would likely start feverishly running around, jabbing everyone you saw with hypodermic needles filled with this antidote. They truly believe they are saving souls. Sadly, these same people don't know what's actually in these needles is not an antidote, but is actually a poison to the Jewish neshama.
I know that Rabbi Singer understands both of these points. I know this because I spoke to him about this while I was still a Christian. He's a very large reason I had the courage to jump from the cliff of Christianity into the loving embrace of Hashem and Am Yisrael.

I have been following Rabbi Singer for months and now just listened to this video. It confirmed that I want to convert to Judaism. I started out Catholic, then Evangelical and then Jehovah Witness and than Latin Catholic church. Now I don't go to any Christian church because I couldn't take the contradictions and the teaching of the Trinity and so on. I have been struggling for 27 years to find the truth of the scriptures and so relieved my search is over. Thank you!!!!!

Born small big city USA. Taught Christian. Always, didn’t feel comfortable in any church, yet was truly seeking truth and true God. Failed at that walk miserably many times. I truly was a bad person. I am considering converting. Lived years as a much smaller dealer than this man’s dad. Feel Jesus was my gait way to possibly the real truth. I have lived as good as I can the last 3 years. And now I am at that point they are describing. I have studied and listened to sermons until I am ready to call. Just don’t know when Shabbat ends out of respect. Need Help converting I guess. I feel God’s spirit has already been living in me in truth because I am trying… however I properly say bless or thank you whichever is appropriate.

The thought energy cannot go anywhere except within Adam because the direct link to God was broken. Adam keeps extending his thought outwards. Us. The link originally desended from God to Eve and Adam and their thought was then passed back up in a constant flow of thought. Now thought went around in a circle within Adam. When the thought returns to Adam, Adam only sees himself. He cannot learn more than he knows. Conflict ensues because no matter how hard he tries he will not get the answer through himself of what Gods purpose is. Hence you cannot be saved by man.

You're welcome to believe what you want to believe, but you need to REALLY investigate Christianity, like thousands of us have already done. The "Jesus" character didn't fulfill even ONE prophecy, and he didn't meet even ONE of the the requirements to be the Jewish Messiah.
The key is, you need to TRULY desire to believe what God said to us at Mt. Sinai. I'll just leave it there - it's up to you to seek out His Truth. Also, I would advise you to buy yourself a Hebrew Bible (says "TANACH" on the cover) so you can see for yourself what God actually said to us (He gave His ETERNAL words to the Jewish people - NOT Christians!). The Messiah must be from the Tribe of Judah and a Descendant of King David AND King Solomon

Anyone can claim to be the Messiah or a group of people can claim that someone is the Messiah. However, if that person fails to fulfill all the criteria found in the Jewish Bible, he cannot be the Messiah.
