Nice video, but $1.1 million for a 3800 square foot home with a facade that's 2/3 garage, with no view, over looking the main drag of the neighborhood, and finishes that are just above builder grade... in Kansas? That's a $450,000 home.
I cannot believe that house is 1.4 million and the neighbors will hear your conversation.
Definitely not worth it. I know some cities have really tight spaces but I would not ever spend 1+ million for a house that is so close to the next that I could have a whispered conversation overheard by my neighbors could
Definitely a downfall.
Once again Dr Livingston you deliver.
That's the perfect home for me.
10:25 It’s just a walk-in pantry. Butler’s pantries are pass-throughs between a kitchen and dining room, and are used for serving/staging food. It would be a prep kitchen/pantry, if it had a way to heat/cook food. It would be a scullery, if it had a dishwasher and was used for stashing/cleaning dirty dishes.
1.1M for a house with a facade that's 60% garage. No wonder they display all that alcohol. You're going to need to numb yourself after buying the house.
I'm surprised new homes do not have like concrete safe rooms for tornados. I would have to have one if I lived there.
Timothy P. Livingston, I subscribed because your videos are super cool!
Love this home Timothy
Thank you for showing us this amazing home Take care and god bless Best regards anja
Subscribed now... simple beautiful and elegancy
I'd make a that
bourbon room a library space, and the area under the stairs into a cool reading nook.
We are all totally fucked if this kind of home in fucking Olathe, Kansas costs $1.2M.
Yep
That’s putting it mildly.
I was starting to wonder what was going on in that part of the country. In my neck of the woods 1.2M gets you a mcmansion (not that I could afford one). What kind of houses are regular folks living in?
This is definitely a home for collectors of all kinds of things. Yes, the Midwest needs safe space to get away from tornadoes. Very nice.
Hope y'all have a healthy girl this time around. 🙏🏽 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Why don't you do dimensions for the bedrooms anymore? I love it when you walk into a room and it has automatic lights, I also love that China cupboard, I love the built-ins throughout. I really love the layout of this place and the exterior of it.
Great floor plan ....rooms were very spacious really liked the whole setup ...thanks for the tour
I loved the primary shower. The wall looking like bamboo was great
Just my style. Thanks for showing us these wonderful homes. My favourites are the one story farmhouse style.
Why do so many new homes have glass doors going out to the patio from the master bedroom? You would have to put blinds or curtains on the actual door for privacy. At least if it's a sliding glass door, you can put up drapes. It just doesn't seem necessary.
Most of those doors have blinds between the glass panes.
Beautiful home I love the arches, they make the house look more elegant
Like the kitchen, Pantry and dining area, the living room Needs more space square ft wise and more wall space. Better follow energy use too would be to move the extended stairway opening for the lower level over to the actual stairway and enclosed the living side with solid wall, this would give more square footage to the living room and more options for furniture placement against the solid wall and make the area better for sound too.
Tastefully done. Nice layout as well.
Gorgeous!!😊
I loved all of it!
Beautiful home.
I love arches too
Wow what a beaut❤
NICE 👍❤
Tim, Kansas having tornados and hail, isn't that like Dorothy and Toto country?
(Wizard of Oz)
Wassup Tim?! Just love the fireplaces, especially the one in the basement, and I'd have all shelves in the pantry, I also love the cat 🐈 picture in the pantry as well.
Like the home so long as the major change to the staircase and living room Wall were done.
Yes tornados and always windy in the prairie lands. I do recall a lot of all day news media warning on tornados. In Ohio they have got better with Doppler.
I like this but not the cost.
I'd make changes in the layout of the front right side of the house. I'd make changes in the Pantry and Mudroom area.
I'm thinking the place would look better on the front view if you made the Garages entry from the side and had windows on the front facade.
In the Basement I'd axe the wine and spirits areas.
over a million for this in kansas is insanity
The Wizard of Oz lol Tim❤
10:08 No mention of the Noble Cat? 😂
Tim you are not doing anything wrong with your tulips. They are seasonal so they only last a week or so. Then they come back next year. You need to plant the bulbs in the fall. For spring color. 😃
There is something that I’m noticing in a lot of new construction homes. The primary bedroom is always on the smaller side. Our primary bedroom is twice the size of this primary bedroom shown in this video. Our bulky bedroom set would never fit in there. Also is there a 3,000-4,000 sq ft house that’s under $900,000 that’s not in Texas?
Plant tulips bulbs in the fall.
How do you get the blueprint? 1:13
I wonder what happens with the décor after the house is sold. Do they get to keep everything or?
Nope! We move it to other projects.
I don’t like this seemingly new trend where there are bedrooms off the front entryway. Just don’t understand how that’s relaxing.
I don’t care for the open stairwell - noise travels up
I don’t like the bedroom downstairs. Not for me!
That’s common in a lot of Midwest homes. A lot of it is because of tornadoes. It’s much easier to get the whole family into a downstairs room when a tornado hits than it is with a separate storm bunker.
Too many windows too costly , I would remove those from my plans.
I hate that the front of the house features the garage and not the front door! I wouldn’t buy it if you gave me the money! One garage could be in the front and two on the bottom level or all 3 on the lower level and put most of the living space on the main floor. Where is the tornado room for that much money? The living room seemed small because it looks like most of the living space was downstairs! The dining room was small too! Not much extra space for lots of company during the holidays! Builders want to get as much house on the smallest acreage so they build houses not esthetically pleasing anymore!
I wouldn't pay 1.3 million dollars for this. Who the hell has this kind of money? Not to mention a very small lot. No thanks.
