We can say anything about uncle Gene, his out of control ego, the craps he says, his money addiction, his "limited" bass chops or whatever else, when it comes down to put on a show and play great rock music, he nails it. Great show man, good singer, great bands, he's got everything here.

I'm a guitar and bass teacher so I do know something about it. I also think he's a great bass player, but a lot of people seems to think otherwise.

Thanks for the download, I was very pleasantly suprised, not by Gene's playing or his voice, he has ALWAYS been a VERY underated bassist, but how good he sounded and at 68!! The man can still rock, put on a great show, 3 guitarists though, just a tad overkill! But as a Kiss fan of 35 years I'd pay to see him play, great song selelction too
Of course he's a very special person. But there are also enough positive things to say about him like all the Charity he is doing and of course puts on a great show
Real impressed with the concert! Gene sounds great and seems real happy! He must add Unholy and Domino to the setlist and I must go to a show sometime! This is much better than current Kiss!

Great show and I love Gene's sense of humor.
They sound great. GENE sounds great...no one ever mentions that. They're too busy picking on Paul's unfortunate vocal ability in his older years. Paul earned that vocal loss the hard way. The fuckin' man was at the top of the frontman/vocalist heap for decades. Some of his '80s stuff was stellar, and he could pull it off while jumping around like a wildman.
But, Gene? He sounds as good as ever. He hasn't lost ONE STEP.
I am saddened by Paul losing his voice, after getting a few live CD's from E-Bay like Aneheim '76 and San Fransisco '77, Paul would scream when he would rap to the audience and way over sing and I feel that is why he did lose his voice. You are right that too many people criticize Paul too much or put down Tommy and Eric for being imposters. If you were a fan from the beginning, you should be a fan always and support them.

Great Video, love watching the energy and excitement.....I can hear the original record of all these songs being played in the background....if you listen close enough you can hear Paul Stanley's vocals....

Comin to Sweden again this summer, I hope they play "Young And Wasted", "Not For the innocent", "Cadillac Dreams", "Betrayed" and why not his least politically correct song "Burn Bitch Burn", cause it's a great song!

I think it's funny how GENE has a memory like a steal trap...He can quote all the past movies, co writers to songs, and on and on...but forgets the lyrics to his own songs constantly...I think he sang, "I don't need to get wasssttteeeed...it only holds me down!" in every verse of "I" at about the 43min mark.
That's not because he fotgot the cuz he has done it so many times he doesn't need to think about it and that's the reason for his mistakes.

Yes he is. He's able to sing all the old songs and he's got himself a hell of a band with him. Those guys are having a blast and Gene is eating it up. Love this concept - smaller crowds and the music is the focus.
@@countvond233 he was smart by singing songs that are such a low range and he can still do them and draw 4000 people solo which compared to aces 2000 is damn good.Paul unfortunately is done his voice is shit and he is lip synching

I can't shake the feeling that Gene and Paul's solo group members are auditioning for KISS 2.0...or KISS 2.5. They are collecting some of the best.

Love Theme from Kiss blew my mind. What a band he put together. Those cats can sing and hang in there with Gene. Give me this and let Paul go on with Soul Station (pretty damn good too). Kiss has nothing left to prove. It's time to do those other music projects.

If this is what it's gonna be, big yes. Looks like a better Kiss show. Including the audience, fun stage banter, Love for the band members. Sounds great. Deconstructed, "real". This is a great move...even if Gene bugs me with his grandiosity. Great song choices too.

I was a bit skeptical about Gene Simmons Band but I will admit that I think it's pretty cool. The songs are tight and the energy is there. Gene is just better on his own than with KISS. I have no interest in seeing KISS anymore, but this I would go see. And I'm not the biggest Gene Simmons fan. I dig it.

Once Kiss is done Gene needs to get Ace on this band and then tour the world as a new band with new albums.
I was there! Great day, great show! Actually the sound was better than in this video, but the video is good! Guitars in this video is kind too much in the background... So is the vocals. But at that show, it sounded really good! Having three guitars is also a good move imo, much like Iron Maiden has it since about year 2000...

Gene needs to step it up and write new material that isnt just a big old plate of leftovers. Ace sure surpassed all of them .

HArd as hell to sing live. Gene had a hard time with it back when it was released. Probably why he hasn't played it out a lot.

What is the point of Gene coming out and playing a full show of Kiss songs? Personally I loved his solo album and it would be great to hear that since it’s supposedly a solo show.
I've seen a lot of KISS videos. Make no mistake. Gene Simmons playing bass as himself is an entirely different person than Gene Simmons as the Demon.
