Well.. We're still in Northern Germany anxiously waiting for our export plates to begin our van life journey back south to Spain.. We're attempting to export a campervan from Germany into Spain and its proving way more difficult than we originally thought.. Follow along to see what happens and to find out if our van life dreams of making this beautiful van into an amazing travel vessel for us and our doggies is actually going to happen!

Every time I see you filming in the Berlin U-Bahn, it fills me with dread. A few months ago I did the same thing, and some crazy lady started verbally abusing me, accusing me of filming children etc. Unfortunately she got off at the same station as me, and the torrent of abuse continued on the platform. She actually called the police, they checked my camera (all clean) and I was warned Germans take their privacy very seriously. The police have many problems with photography on trains... especially with GoPros as they are small and discreet. I'm sure you're looking forward to getting home where it's warmer. It's been a great series of videos and can't wait for the next chapter.

Guys. Look into registering the van in Germany as a campervan, then export to Ireland (it'll be a couple of grand to import). Ireland in the EU, so Spain can't say no. Just a thought

Breaking it all out... I 've done it twice...there are a few things you can leave in like the wall coverings (and hide the elec cables behind it). Just passed a van like that in Alicante in August.
YOU can do it, I know you can. And remember... with being able to rebuild it, you can make some changes without feeling guilty 😊

I don't think I would have a problem being stuck in Germany. Lovely people there and the weather is a lot like home for me.
It’s nice but we don’t like being stuck in the same place for too long and the fact that we couldn’t leave the carpark was starting to make us go a bit mad 😅

Problems starting, switch on the lights full beam on and off a few times, gets the battery cells warmed a little and that can help it getting enough energy to the starter

You poor folks . I live in Michigan and they built my own van. Praise the Lord. I had no trouble, but I didn’t have to export anything. I wish you the very best luck and I hope you get out of Berlin before snow flies.
Just to let you know,we live in spain and built our own renault master van,we have no side windows best decision we made keeps out the heat and cold and you still have your side door good luck to you both.

Can't believe your dogs lovely diet, our old vet reccomended feeding animals on what you eat. Izzie however would not touch a vegetable. She does like chicken and beef both the dog and cat have a, lot of fresh meat. Hope you get everything sorted, safe travels. We have had Nord Vpn for about two years it's excellent.

Great vid as always - Finally some progress 😮 - we are currently touring southern Spain in our camper having come down through France and western Spain. We have a place north of Malaga that we are staying at for a couple of months which is great fun. Maybe see you on the road 😊

Somebody for Italy just bought a van, already converted in Germany. He do all the official papers to convert in a campervan in Germany, and after he transporte the van in Italy and there do the other paperworks for Italy. . It was like 400 euro all the paperwork. Sorry my english. 😊

Nice Video! Hope you have a good trip out of Germany. For the van problems maybe you can ask in spain how plumbers, painters en construction how they get there material sheds approved so they don't have to bring it back in original state. The separation shield between load and drivers is a must I guess. Whish you all good fortune with that. Good trip!
