My favorite work knives are PM2, Endela, and Stretch 2. Oddly enough they're all kind of the same knife. I also go for something like my Kabar wrench knife or Izula 2 for something a bit heavier use.
As much as I love the ad10, I prefer the ad15 for work because it can be opened and closed with one hand. I know it can be done with the ad10 but the risk of getting your finger is very high. The ad15 allows you to close the knife while keeping your fingers out of the path of the blade.

The problem with making liner lock/frame lock knives your work knives, is that the moment you put on a glove, you are in for a rough time operating those locks. Ideally, thumbhole is better than thumstuds too, but not a deal breaker if you have studs. The best work knife in my opinion is the benchmade griptilian in the sheepsfoot thumbhole version for all those reasons since i consider axis lock to be slightly better with gloves than compression lock. Those are my two cents on this debate, and if you put a 17dps or less edge angle on that griptilian, it slides too.
Have a Rat 1 in D2 that I've barely used. Recently got an AUS8 version on sale, gave it a dramatic regrind (nearly a zero grind, just the tiniest microbevel) suddenly I love the thing. I don't know if D2 would hold up as well with such an acute edge though.
Really the best work knives the Recon, the voyager, everything else is just trying to keep up. Liner/frame lock are not worth a failure. Really don't see many people using a $200+ knife at work. Maybe I don't live in the right place. I know youtube influencers tell me they use $500 knives everyday. Funny thing is every week they have the latest and greatest? How could they know if they are carrying their CRK knife every day? It's all just marketing to suck money. Shame youtube used to have honest people until they got videos demonenitized.
I work in a warehouse and almost always carry the kizer mini critical in 3V. I will carry others on occasion to try out but the kizer always end up back in my pocket
My mini adamas had lock up problems, used it to baton some small pieces of wood and would continuosly pop the lock. So i spin wavked it and sure enough it poped
airlite is such an underrated knife. Super thin, super light, very comfortable in hand but can do a lot of work.

Don't use a pocket knife for dumb shit and you won't have problems with your lock up
