Very interested to see how an Aisin handles your tune since it can’t be programmed. I’m also interested in DEF usage post tune.
As soon as i get me a ecm im coming back to your tunes, they have always been the best for my application.
Banks can’t seem to get theirs out I’m interested.
About how close would you say you are the having tuning for the Aisin transmissions? And that’s for any model year. Curious to see who else besides PPEI has developed it

Is the HO differences just in the 5th gen or where they the same in the 4th gen also? I was always under the impression that the HO in the 13-18 was just factory tuning changes.
The 19 and newer HOs have mechanical differences than the standard output. The 13-18 HO was merely tuning differences between it and the standard.
@@DOUBLERDIESEL I like what you’re doing with this testing, there are so many of us that want the raw testing and you are doing it. Each mod before and after is priceless, and your doing mods that are affordable for the average owner. I enjoy the info on what you can and cannot change, it really give us some transparency as the end user. Thanks again!
Did you have to swap out ecu? Or can the 5th gen ecu now be tuned? What is over all cost?
No. Only 22 and newer require a PCM swap
Will these engines and turbos last 300,000 miles with this emissions compliance equipment on it? What’s the failure rate of these new engines?
Yes they can with good maintenance. We really feel the coming egr filter systems by Fass will go a long ways in making them last longer.
