Productivity 101: Get every apple product, logitech MX Master mouse, wireless keyboard😅
I have the Magic Mouse and Keyboard, but the mouse is too uncomfortable, and the keyboard is too wide since I have the numeric keyboard version.

My desk setup is a bit similar.... I use the ultra fine LG display, MX keys, MX master 3 and M1 Pro 16" with a JBL bluetooth speaker.
We have good taste in products.

Hey man ! I was wondering how the macbook is holding up? How is editing been so far om your device and do you regret nog buying the 16inch version?
MacBook Pro still performs like it did on day one. Battery life can last me a day, and I rarely hear the fans spin up. Most of the time, I edit on an external monitor, but I do wish I had the 16” for the times I edit on the go.

Thanks for watching! It shouldn't be an issue, especially with the M1 or M2 MacBook Air since there's no fans. My MacBook Pro is still running perfectly

Nice setup, it looks fantastic. I’m curious about the 6k scaling on that 32inch monitor…is small text too blurry? do you think it could be used for coding with for example a 12pt font on a text editor? And is it slow in any way compared to the native resolution with all the extra scaling work the GPU has to do? Thanks!

Привет, Ники, тебе нужно подключиться от монитора к ноутбуку с помощью кабеля. Большинство macbook имеют порты USB-c. Таким образом, вы будете использовать кабель USB-c-HDMI. Hdmi входит в монитор, а USB-c - в MacBook. Все остальные настройки можно изменить в настройках MacBook
Или, если ваш ноутбук имеет порт HDMI, просто используйте кабель HDMI для подключения монитора и ноутбука.

Hi Léonard, the monitor has a USB-C port, so one cable can provide video, data, and power.
I also used Home pods mini as speakers.
i have a mac mini m1
but i sold my home pod mini again.
I had constant connection problems.
sometimes I had no sound.
sometimes only one of them went.
it happened multiple times a day.
do you have these problems too?
I only had connection issues but rarely.

Is it a Display port to type c cable in your laptop? Can you tell will it work on my hp laptop
The MacBook Pro has Thunderbolt 4. If your HP laptop has a USB-C port, then it should work.
And what camera for videocalls?
I don't have any video calls.

Does the master 3s have the cursor latency issue?
Yeah, it does unfortunately.
I just want your set-up with a few changes. I'll get a 16-inch Macbook Pro, MX Keys are better for typing, XM5s over the APM. Basically everything else is perfect.
lastly the Homepod isn't a go for me unless I have them already laying around doing nothing, but buying them for speakers is not for me. I'd rather have it like the Altec Lansing brand.

how can you plug in your macbook for your whole setup ? I mean like display and stuff ?
The monitor he uses has a usb c port that transmits the video signal AND charges the laptop.
If you don't have the same monitor or one USB c capabilities, you're good with getting a thunderbolt 3 or 4 dock/hub
A single USB-C port can provide video, data, and power.

Hi Kevin, is there any solution that u can switch on your laptop while docked without having to flip it open?
Not that I know of. I put mine to sleep when not in use.
It's not switched up even though it's on the adapter? How abt connecting it with the mouse and the keyboard?
I'm assuming your laptop is in clamshell mode (plugged in to power and closed) and has been put to sleep. I believe simply pressing a key on a connected external keyboard should wake it. If its off and powered down, you will have to open it.
Great video and great setup! Congrats! I have a question to you all, though. When you guys build setups like these, don't you feel like you're wasting money sometimes? Let me explain... When people buy a MacBook Pro (especially the new ones) they pay a lot for the processor and internals, but a big deal is about the screen, webcam, "studio quality" mics, enormous trackpad, and speakers, which are all best in class for laptops. But when we close it, plug it and connect all that, we're only using it as a MacMini or Studio.
Honestly, I catch myself wondering about those things a lot when I plan my workspace.
I know the laptop brings you the mobility, and everything, but wouldn't we better off buy a Mac desktop for that kind of scenario?

Hi Victor, thanks for watching and good question! I did feel like I wasted money, but I like having the flexibility of working where ever I'd like without having to be "tied" to a desk. For my day job, I work from home most of the time, but sometimes I need to be on site, which is why the MacBook Pro is a better choice for me. For creative work, I usually away from my desk except for video editing.
Really great video quality with solid content. Just one tiny suggestion: to balance the sound volume to similar level. In this video, there're more than three clips where sound volume up and down which are quite annoying for audience.

To be honest, I used it after seeing his video haha. I used one or the other, but never both at the same time. Game changer!

How did you change the resolution to 6K at 01:45 ?
I went to System Settings > Display.
A 4K monitor physically can’t run 6K. However what he most likely meant is that he set the monitor setting to scaling. And the scaling to the resolution the XDR 6K monitor is using. Note that a 4K monitor will be a lot less sharp as the XDR monitor as it has 2K less pixels of course. I hope this helps.

I try to have them in every video I upload.
I tried the stereo pair Homepod setup and it's just too much of a pain, every time you pause a video, or start a new one, or do anything at all, there's the 2 second delay which is just so distracting and is a terrible user experience, I upgraded to a normal set of speakers with a woofer which sound incredible by comparison to the homepods, it's not even close and cheaper and no delay.
Yeah, that delay is bad, but since I only use HomePod minis for music and podcasts, it's manageable.
@@kevinwthai Yes, that's how I felt until I just got sick of it and now they are a bathroom and kitchen speaker lol - it's like someone calls you and you pause and it doesn't, so you pause again, and it pauses then starts playing, argh! - I don't know how Apple think this is ok. It seems like such an easy thing to fix in software too.

It’ll work perfectly fine, but it does have a matte finish, so the colors are a little muted
