Hey everyone, here’s an extra video today of using the Anycubic Photon resin printer. 👍🏻 You won’t want to miss next Thursday’s video as I’ll be making something really fun for you all 🤔 stay safe and have a happy weekend!
So that instruction manual that's written in chinese has an inside layer that's written in english. I was in the wtf boat until I noticed it started to open.
I really appreciate the review. The only thing I was going to point out...someone already done so, the pour spout on the resin tray. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Thanks again!
Damn that came out bloody mint👌🏻😁. When you said to me it printed really good I didn’t think it would be that good. I might have to get one in the future but I need to find me a Kiln first and their like Hens Teeth in Australia 🤔
I'm impressed with all of what I've seen on your channel so far!! I have a strong feeling that you will be a channel that go over a million subs!! And I don't think it will take to long, maybe a couple more years!! Have a GREAT Day!!!
It sure looks like there is a groove cut into one corner of the reservoir to make it easier to pour the resin back into the container... In the video it is in the front right corner your right hand is on when you take it out, but in the back left corner as you put the empty tray back in the unit.
So in looking into getting my first 3D printer. Would this def be a good choice? It’s $190 on amazon. Also as far as ventilation what does that exactly mean? Got 2 lil kids don’t want to poison them all 🤣
Just got my Kelant s400s last week...the vat is huge! Buying an Anycubic Photon today for smaller prints..besides I dnt wanna have to fill the Kelants large vat for a small print even if I run low on resin I would be challenged to print having to fill a large vat
The resin vat has a spout for pouring the resin back into the bottle . . . it's pretty obvious, surprised you missed it. Also you forgot to peel off the white protective film from the insides of the cabinet windows . . . it's good to be able to monitor a print, the windows are designed to be see-through.
If this was anyone else, naw, but if Adam likes it I love it. Old man syndrome, you lost me when you opened the box, lol. Want to see you cast that first cube 😵😜. Anyway, 👍👍 full view even with ads.
when you say cleaning the plate and the other part, just after printing at 9:35, you just use water to clean it ? or is there a special product to use to protect the plate or something ?
What type of 3d printer utilizers those wires type printer material? It's my first time buying a 3d printer and that's what I wanted but didn't realize there was a difference? How bout if u wanted to printer a something that has multiple colors do u buy different color resins? Thanks for the video...
That’s an fdm printer that uses filament. And yes if you wanted different colors you would need to buy multiple colors and pause when you want to switch
I was just given the same one, used condition and I have done everything in the video but I can’t get it to print the files. I’m not a tech person, I was just randomly given this, I have no idea why it’s not working. I’ve loosely been reading the manual and watching/reading tutorials.
I am brand new to resin printing (and 3d printing in general). I just received my Anycubic Photon today and have been looking up different guides and videos on how to use it. In your video, you printed the Anycubic test print but didn't mention anything about cleaning it and curing it. Does this printer automatically do that, or is this still a necessary step after removing the print from the print bed? Sorry if this is a dumb question, again I am completely new at this. Thank you!
It all depends on the resin you have. Some are water washable so just rinse them and some need post curing. You’ll need a curing machine (like $39) or a UV light to cure them fully afterwards if necessary. The printer itself won’t do that. Hope that helps a little
Mine came with totally blocked windows n they aren't see through... I haven't been able to remove the seemingly protective film... Can't even use my nail to peel it... Did they change the windows to white ?? Gonna try a bit harder...
Go to the Anycubic webpage and download the files again. Manual, firmware and slicer software are all available from the support section. If my memory is correct it's top right of the page.
i have a question, i found a anycubic photon fully functional ony issue is the vat is missing, i cant find any in stock on any site so that is out of the question, i did find stl files of th evat and stuff online and sized it up to the specs can i 3d print a vat on my fdm printer and use it functional and have no issues i wanna know before i attempt to print it as you all have more exp. thank you if your able to reply back.

You stay safe too friend.

There is a film cover on the LCD, that needs to be removed right? (the UV LCD)
The resin plate has a notch cut out of one corner so you can pour the extra resin back in the bottle.
Purple Cricket Thunder I saw that too
lol first thing i noticed hahah i was like what you doing bro pour the other way!
I too have noticed this right away lol I was just confused lol
and also there is a filter , that comes with the printer, for the resin, he havent mentioned.....
lol
Is it just me or did you just completely ignore the pour spout on the bottom reservoir as you poured it back into the bottle? Lol
And @ 2:05 the pack of funnels....with integrated filters.
yeah...
should have filtered it too
I love that the resin vat has a corner for easy pour but he decided to use a different corner and make it difficult to put back in the container
The instructions now have English on one side, and you are meant to pull off the protective film inside so you can see the print.
I really appreciate the review. The only thing I was going to point out...someone already done so, the pour spout on the resin tray. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Thanks again!
Just bought my first 3d printer. I'm really excited to learn how to design and print
9:15 There is an actual pour spout on the opposite corner of the resin reservoir!😎
Damn that came out bloody mint👌🏻😁. When you said to me it printed really good I didn’t think it would be that good. I might have to get one in the future but I need to find me a Kiln first and their like Hens Teeth in Australia 🤔
Yeah the quality is fantastic! Get the kiln first though as you can still burn out the pla 👍🏻
@@ArtByAdrock can you burn the resin ? i mean this liquid resin ? that you use in anycubic 3d resin printer
I'm impressed with all of what I've seen on your channel so far!! I have a strong feeling that you will be a channel that go over a million subs!! And I don't think it will take to long, maybe a couple more years!!
Have a GREAT Day!!!
That levelling process made me sad
looks great. Thanks for the review. 1 day I might get one. looks really good to print really detailed small stuff.
Yeah they print in fantastic detail 👍🏻 I highly recommend one

You could make a lot of keychains , Star Wars figurines , the possibilities are endless .
Notice the very visible notch on the OPPOSITE side of the metal resin vat, specially designed for pouring out resin...
What did you do for ventilation for your printer? I’ve heard resin is very dangerous fume.
I just got mine a couple weeks ago! Resin finally arrived yesterday.

Its nice to hear your voice finally

@@ArtByAdrock It does, thank you so much!

How many prints are you getting from one bottle?
Yes 4th and hi i like these types of videos very helpful
Mine came with a single headless screw that I could not find use for. Any hints?

I love my Anycubic i3 mega it’s no resin printer but I does the job maybe when I get into lost wax casting I’ll buy one of thos thx for the review
Mine came with totally blocked windows n they aren't see through... I haven't been able to remove the seemingly protective film... Can't even use my nail to peel it... Did they change the windows to white ??
Gonna try a bit harder...
No the windows are still clear
Did you give a price for it?
Hello İ am from Azerbaijan
No one cares where you’re from
As a person who doesn't use computers often, I deleted the stuff in the flash drive... What do I do?
Go to the Anycubic webpage and download the files again. Manual, firmware and slicer software are all available from the support section. If my memory is correct it's top right of the page.
9:03 that opposite corner
Does anyone know where i can find the replacement stepper motor?
I'm pretty sure the instructions are in English, if you like open the manual and turn it around...
Great video, thanks for the tips. Let us see if I can be successful.
9:05 pouring aid. right-hand side.
that is not the right corner to pour it back look there is a carved corner for pouring
Why doesn’t mine work like this?
Craftsman!!
it looks like there was a spot to pour out of and he poured out of the opposite side
has a pouring spot in the corner of the tray...uses the other side lol
A company selling resin printers made of printed resin and a few wires and a screen. Can someone say genius lol!
