Nice! These Arrma 1/10 trucks are really good on 4s. Got my Big Rock on 4s, and it takes a lot of abuse. Took about 6 months to break my first pair of driveshafts, and I put more stock ones on and haven't had them break again. If anything the plastic diffs will be the weak point. Set the slipper right and be careful not to land on throttle, they should last a while. Also, since you need a-arms anyway, maybe just go for the Big Rock arms and links to wide mod the truck. Should help with that body rub.
Defo remember the old Hobbyking stuff, even bought a Nitro Circus MT after seeing it on your channel. And I bought a Thunder Tiger eMta after seeing your review come to think of it... Thanks for everything you do for the hobby.
Oh man I remember the Sabertooth! Your videos on it made me want to get it but I was only a teenager back then with no money. Shame Hobbyking stopped making RCs.
Can you Velcro the bottom edges of the body to the chassis to help it clear those tires and make it more durable in the process? It looks perfect as is.
Great video mate as always but yeah it needs 4s that will keep the noise up over the jumps 👍🦘 that's definitely way better on 4s. my 4 year old grandson Ryett is running 4s in the vorteks
SaberTooth? oh man those were the days! I remember watching both the SaberTooth and Trooper (remember that?) reviews. I was just getting back into rc's and ended up buying the Trooper. Also, bought the 1/8 Basher BSR BZ-888 on clearance. The BSR wasn't half bad. Then, you started covering this company called...what was it again? ARRMA? lol In all seriousness though I hope ARRMA realize how much you did for their brand around the 6s v1 days! anyways, so nice to see the old track!
Haha, man, I haven't heard anyone mention that truck in years. What a great little truck that was back in the day, especially when you consider how cheap it was. 😁
Vas the senton is a beast, I ran a racerstar 120a 6s esc and their 2150kv 3670 in the senton on 2 ovonic 4500mah 50c 3s for 6s, it's insane but fun, the proline badlands SC 2.2/3.0 tires hold up to the power
Well, the Senton V1 was one of the first of its kind - a 1/10 scale size SCT with a 6S drivetrain and power system. Nothing on the market like that today (I don't think). The Mojave is a much bigger truck and classed as a desert truck and it has the suspension travel to prove it. So yes, I still think the Senton 6S is (or was) the best SCT on the market. However, the Mojave is a very different beast and in that category, it's unbeatable. 😁
Morning mate I've just watched your video it's alsome. The only thing I'm worried about is your body shell to close I think. And what paint you been using has I used tamiya Color TS Spray Paint put mine paint keeps coming off why this any idea please 😮😮
Tamiya AS and TS paints are for plastic models only, not for Lexan bodies. That's why the paint falls off. You need to use PS paints only and you won't have any issues after that. 😉
You'll have issues getting over the hubs for starters, but even if you can fit them, the ASUGA tyres are fine as they are, I wouldn't bother changing them. Although, if you want more wheelies or rotating power for flips, then I'd go with the 3.8" Badlands. They're not belted and will be better for stunt work. Aside from that reason, I wouldn't bother changing tyres on the ASUGA.

That body shell looks so cool
That's a cool little beasty🎉
Cheers. 🙂

Good to see more videos from you based 👍👌💯

Damn, you mentioning it made me miss my sabertooth

Hey Vass, if you would have digged out some old parts from your Hobbyking Trooper... Now I would be impressed.... lol

What a beast, love my senton on 3s but 4s is tempting...

Running a max 8 in my vortex and she rips 🇬🇧
Any upgrade of the CVD?And the diff ring and pinion?
I run those tires on my truggified typhon 6s. Some of the best I've tried
As I remember correctly you have Slash 4x4 with same whote body. Which is better at driving and handling - Slash or Senton
With the Mojave now do you still feel the Senton v1 was the best short course truck? You made that statement in the review of the senton

For most people 3s would be plenty. The car looked a bit bouncy. Was it?

@AussieRCPlayground cheers thanks 😊 I will check ps paints up now on line 👍
What tyres are those?
Badlands MX28 Belted.
Hmm wonder how they would be on the asuga? Probably too small
