Hey Gabriel. love your videos, but you should clarify that the XY chromosome thing is NOT confirmed. It is speculated by some people that this was the reason they did not pass their gender exam before but other have said it is because the organization that tested them was just corrupt. Either way, we do not know yet.

It is confirmed. Two official tests were made. The olympic committee didn't deny the tests but said they go by what the gender in the pass is. Imane and the algerian federation were able to go against the decision or just make the test somewhere else so there won't be any problems around them anymore. They didn't do so. It is also not the first time where she was not able to participate. In Bulgaria they already said year before the IBO disqualification happened that Imane is not a woman. There is also interview in Bulgarian with a pro female boxer and an amateur boxer who sparred and one of them even fought Imane and won against. They said

There's a narrative being pushed by certain parties as a strategy to divide Western countries from within. They grasp onto anything that can be used to further that goal.

I've watched her fights, the problem I see is the weight classes. The cutoff for her class is 145lbs (66kg). I'm guessing she cut hard to reach that and it's showing because she's fighting much smaller individuals with a much longer reach -- I haven't see any huge discrepancy you'd expect with a real male vs. female fight. This appears no different than any other tall and skinny female fighter fighting down a class.
This isn't the only sport that is having class issues, they were also wonky in Jui-Jitsu. They need to add more classes. I also think all combat sports need to stop unhealthy weight cuts by making it the weight *at the time if the fight* .. so if you dehydrate yourself trying to reach the weigh-in, you fight dehydrated (and no-one should be stupid enough to do that), that way fighters stay in their appropriate classes.
And I'll be honest, with the exception of maybe two fighters, all of them look very "manly" because of their builds and likely off-season PEDs.

It didn't look like she won by battering her opponent with brute strength, it just looked like she was more skilled and aggressive.
As for her 'genetic advantages' (if there are any, we don't actually know if she's intersex at all, the only thing we have to go on is the IBA's pronouncement after she defeated a Russian boxer in 2023, and they have refused to provide the IOC with any evidence supporting their pronouncement), I dunno that anyone can really criticize her over that or say she shouldn't be allowed to compete. After all, the point of professional sports is to showcase people's genetic advantages. Shaquille O'Neal would be an absolute garbage basketball player if he wasn't 7ft tall, but no one says that Shaq should never have been allowed in the NBA because his only talent was his size. Michael Phelps has a genetic mutation that makes him produce far less lactic acid than a normal person, allowing him to exert himself at a much higher pace for an extended period of time than anyone else, which resulted in him claiming the record for the most Olympic medals won by anyone, and not by a little bit either, but no one says that he shouldn't have been allowed to compete because of his mutation. Now we have a woman who *might* have a naturally increased amount of testosterone, or *might* have an increased amount of upper-body muscle mass, and we're going to say she has no right to be a boxer because of this?

Has anyone that is leaning heavily on the IBA arguments considered that it's a Russian organization that only did this "test" (info on what this magical test was or what it entailed hasn't been released) after she beat one of Russia's boxers? That they are the ones that determined only the women should remain with headgear (pointing to the fact that there's not a lot of parity in how they do things). That the IBA is no longer in charge of anything related to the Olympics because of corruption issues? I think there are a lot of people out there really excited to get their dose of trans panic, and this isn't even a concern over a trans athlete.
It's interesting that you don't mention that the IBA are the main governing body for boxing and these French Olympics decided not to go with them for the Olympics. Have you considered why that is? Females have different skulls to males. Male skulls evolved to take punches, go look at any other simians, gorillas, orangutans. It's good they care about women's safety unlike the IOC who literally have reverted to rules that allow males to compete.

2. Even then, chromosomes alone dont mean much. You can have hormonal imbalances from birth that make you develop as a woman or a man or someone intersex regardless of your chromosomes. Each chromosome has alleles (DNA chains), some are expressed or some aren't, and it can change your physiology drastically.

Girls with Swyer syndrome have an XY chromosomal makeup (as boys normally do) instead of an XX chromosomal makeup (as girls normally do). Despite having the XY chromosomal makeup, girls with Swyer syndrome look female and have functional female genitalia and structures including a vagina, uterus and fallopian tubes.

It bears pointing out that the two boxers allgedly having XY chromosomes (which might or might not be an advantage) isn't so much an established fact, but a claim by a Russian mafia run boxing 'organisation' that has basically lost all standing in the international comunity. It's based on undisclosed test results of an unnamed test that allegedly was performed after Khelif happened to beat a thus far unbeaten Russian boxer, annulling that result re-establishing that fighter's streak, of course.

Honestly Khelif did dominate the fight in my opinion, especially with the cross hook. While watching the match I also thought Khelif had a noticeable size advantage on the Thai Fighter. I dnot think it should be fair to have that much of a strength advantage but that is just my opinion Gabriel and awesome video as always! 🥊
Suwannapheng is the same height but Khelif still won. I thought Hamori was better than Suwannapheng despite being smaller. Yeah, Khelif dominates, that is why she scores more points. But she does not just show up and suckerpunch the opponents like a good man would. And Hamori landed decent punches too.

People should be aware that the IBA did a press conference where they clarified everything. They actually did 2 separate tests on both athletes which they failed. They said they can't release their information due to them being personal medical record's but both fighter's have a copy so they can release it.

Second, the IBO are a joke, they did 0 gender testing even after the IBA told them and asked to meet them. Third, the IBA have a board of directors from all different nations and their vice chairman is Ukrainian.
Finally, the first test results came back an entire year before she fought the Russian boxer. Your entire narrative is filled with misinformation and lies.
A summary of events and why you should trust your eyes:
Imane Khelif, a man, boxed against Angela Carini during the Olympics. Some people are upset, others are defending this, some are saying the criticism directed at Khelif is just a plot to get Algeria disqualified.
Khelif had been disqualified from professional boxing in the female category before because the IBA did two sex tests on him and the IBA claims that the results show that he is a man cheating by pretending to be a woman. Same as another controversial boxing contestant for the female category, Lin Yu-ting.
Neither of them contested their disqualification in the end which makes it even more suspicious.
The IOC discontinued all sex testing years ago, their only eligibility criteria are now whether someone has the marker for female on their passport. This is why both of the boxers were still able to participate in the Olympics.
Khelif won against his opponent after just 46 seconds. Carini took a punch to the face (there are claims he broke her nose) and forfeited the match, saying she had never been hit this hard before.
Carini was seen visibly angry and in tears, on her knees, repeatedly saying “it’s not fair”. Just like Lin Yu-ting’s opponent, she refused to shake hands. Khelif nonetheless approached her twice, smirking, and even groped her breast after winning.
A lot of people were understandably upset. The IOC issued a statement claiming that the true victims of the situation were the two male boxers.
Now, are they male? Yes.
The IBA defines “woman” as someone with XX-chromosomes, so this leads us to the conclusion that both Lin and Khelif at the very least tested positive for Xy. The test results are available to individual journalists.
Alleged childhood pictures of Khelif surfaced, showing him in pink clothes leading us to believe he was raised as a girl.
His father also presented to the public Khelif’s birth certificate that classifies him as “female”, however, strangely, the birth certificate was only issued in 2018, 19 years after his birth and right at the start of Khelif’s professional boxing career.
Both Imane’s and Lin’s passport is saying they are “female.” Many people have pointed out that a marker on a passport is not indicative of sex in the first place, since many countries have self-identification laws that allow women and men to change their legal sex marker at will. Algeria however is not one of those countries.
Now, there are few disorders of sexual development that can lead to women having Xy chromosomes. Imagine it like this: you have an X and a y and the y malfunctions in some way, leaving only the X.
One of them is Swyer syndrome, which I’ve seen people claim Khelif has. First, there’s no proof for this. Second, there are documentaries about women with Swyer syndrome and Khelif looks nothing like them. I think it’s pretty apparent from his appearance that Khelif has functioning testicles. He has a male frame, Adams apple, male muscle-to-fat ratio, a male voice and wingspan. There are even pictures of his that show what is clearly male genitalia. Women with Swyer do not develop male genitalia and only produce female levels of testosterone. They also have to go on female hormone replacement therapy to go through puberty.
More claims debunked:
“The IBA is lying because uh… Russia”
The lab that did the first test is a US-American reference lab and, as well, accredited by CAP, the Northfield, Illinois-based College of American Pathologists, and certified by the ISO, the Swiss-based International Organization for Standardization. The second test was done in New Delhi and turned out identical to the first.
Besides, what kind of incentive would the Russian government have to defend an Italian boxer over an Algerian one? That makes no sense to me. Just btw, the IOC is deeply connected to the WEF. This is not a political issue though, unless we make it.
“She is a woman on testosterone”
Khelif is not a woman on testosterone. If that were true, “she” would have to be disqualified for doping. But apart from the fact he has Xy, women who take androgens, even the ones taking a male amount of them, still have female frames. This is me speaking from experience: just look at videos, best unedited, of women on high amounts of testosterone moving. You’ll see they look and move nothing like him, even if they have more muscle and beards.
“She has a uterus and fallopian tubes”
False and entirely based on the fabricated claim that Khelif has Swyer syndrome.
“Khelif has lost to women before, so she must be a woman”
Even cheaters lose sometimes. And even a loser man has no place in women's boxing.
Of course, it is possible that Khelif has lost several times on purpose.
William “Lia” Thomas, who swam with the women as a man in the USA, was caught several times deliberately not paddling his legs to make the difference between himself and the women look smaller.
Here is a quote from Mexican Brianda Tamara, against whom Khelif boxed in 2022:
“When I fought with her, I felt very out of my depth; her blows hurt me a lot. I don’t think I had ever felt like that in my 13 years as a boxer, nor in my sparring with men. Thank God that day I got out of the ring safely, and it’s good that they finally realized [that he is a man].
“She was born female”
Fact is, we know he was registered as female at birth. We don’t know why that is, but reasons could be: botched circumcision, born with ambiguous genitalia, parents wanted a girl (unlikely since transgenderism is illegal in Algeria). Personally, I think the second reason is true.
Caster Semenya is another man who competed as female, but later fathered a child with sperm from his internal testicles. Semenya has what’s called 5α-Reductase 2 deficiency. That means Semenya is a normal man whose testes just didn’t drop. In some cases, they drop later.
More things that don’t add up but aren’t proof of anything on their own:
Khelif, coming from a rural Muslim community, was never seen wearing a hijab.
There exist several pictures of him wearing a groin protector specifically for men, never for women. Right after his fight against Carini he was seen doing something on stage that many men seem to recognize as “adjusting his junk.”
Conclusion: to clear things up and avoid spreading misinformation, we should put pressure on the IOC and the athletes to undergo sex testing in a way that ensures we are getting correct unbiased results.
And yes, the media and many disingenuous people online are lying about about this situation and the athletes’ sexes.
UPDATE: Due to his victory against Anna Luca Hamori, Khelif secures a bronze medal and moves on to the semi-finals. Hamori posted an AI-generated picture before the fight showing her confronting a giant monster man. The fact that she has a lighter color in the picture, while Khelif is shown with darker skin, adds fuel to the fire of a discussion about racism that has flared up on Twitter/X.
After the fight against Lin Yu-ting that secured him bronze, Staneva, his opponent, made a double X sign with her hands.
“I only want to play with women, I am double X.”
Khelif is now on track to win a gold medal.
They have the same bronze medal rule in wrestling. I don't know what the reasoning behind it is

There is no reason not to disclose the result of the DNA tests if they are certain they have XX chromosomes. When they failed the IBA test, it is almost a certainty that they will find another lab to confirm their DNA test results.

I've seen controversy in rugby (Australia) where a dude plays on a female rugby team and just annihilates their opponents, I've seen controversy in female swimming (America) where the trans swimmer just absolutely blows the other women out of the water, and I'm sure there are more examples out there.

You have it the wrong way around. Trans women are men who transition to living as women, trans men are women who transition to live as men.
XY chromosome means she had the advantage of going through puberty as a male. Trust the science. He/she could simply take a cheek swab and get her chromosomes tested…but both of these fighters won’t. I wonder why…

This has been a controversy, and I find it odd that there isn't a clear indication. For example, there was a failed test but I assume women with an xy chromosome would have been addressed. I might be naive too.

Khelif, a born female, with supposedly (still no proof for that claim) a Y-chromosome or elevated testosterons levels, has been rather a middle of the pack boxer most of her career fighting against other women which shows in her mediocre record of about 1/4 of her fights losing against other women. So where TF doe her "advantages" show¿
regardless of genitals, its the chromosomes that matter. That is where the advantage comes come, Khelif went through male puberty and thus has all the advantages a male has over a woman. Khelif fighting women is literally the same as a typical male fighting a woman.

Olympics has turned into a bloated freaky mess. Haven't even watched any of it, just seen and heard enough second hand to know it's only gotten worse since last time I watched however many years ago.
People need to educate themselves and read up on DSD (differences in sex development) and then make your judgement after learning about hormone imbalances as a result of a disorder that is rare and not present in women not born with the disorder. This has to do with fairness in sports, you don't see men with DSD competing in male boxing and there is an obvious reason for it.

She doesn't seem to have a massive advantage like most scandalists on the internet claim. She's lost routinely in prior tourneys, as well. Intersex people and people with sexual development disorders exist. All humans, male female and intersex, produce varying levels of testosterone and while it may be an advantage, no human has the same physical conditions anyway.

She doesn't seem to have an advantage bigger than what we see from regular female athletes. Unless Amanda Nunes has an DSD that's what I consider to be the possible female dominance achievable and at least yet Khelif doesn't seem close.
