@@southtexasoutdoor5484 yeah I guess so. My doctor said my hip was really messed up it’s gonna take me a little longer than expected to recover, but I’m already working on it. i’m glad your dad is home with you. That’s always the best thing.
So I'm in Austin & usually try fish down at the coast. I just got a Newport NK180 & completed the install on my 2021 Hobie Outback. If & when you would like to hit up some Austin area waters, to test out that new hip, I would be honored to assist in that! Been yak fishin for 15 yrs (prior to that, canoe fishin for 20 yrs All Austin area & the coast.)
100%. The fin drive allows me to not ever have to remove it when I get into shallow parts of the marsh. I can suck the fins up to the belly of the kayak. This makes it much easier and quieter being that I never have to retract the drive.
Grant,
Welcome back! Glad to hear that your dad is well enough to be back at home! A major relief to you and your family, I'm sure!
Biiiiig relief
I’m going to have to live vicariously through you. Hip replacement is done on the road to recovery April 1 baby!
Dad is home finally. Hope I can give you some decent viewing material more frequently now! How did the procedure go? Does this make you elderly now?

Good Morning
Looks like you have switched from a Hoodoo to a Hobie. Are you way happier with the Hobie for marsh fishing ?
