- Well, here we go again with another itty-bitty handheld game system. Mayhap they have gone too far this time, but the low price point and decent build quality make Thumby a great conversation starter!

I sure wish they still made green ones.
This little thing is clocked higher than most of the computers from the 80’s. Was still decent horsepower at the ends of 80’s early 90’s.
It is amazing !
Technologically speaking it's hard to believe....
@@Retr0Rob it is crazy. The Amiga 500 was clocked around 8 MHz. The Apple Mac 1985 around 7MHz. This little thing is a
Clocked around 133MHz!!! This is madness!!
Very neat, indeed. That screen actually looks beautiful! Makes me wonder if you have a Playdate console on the way...
I keep thinking about it. I really just have to get a little drunk and blammo!
I just got mine the other day, thinking of learning how to make games for it and maybe just remake some mario games or something like that
I was watching this thinking... "leave it to Rob to get a green Thumby and then try to use a green screen with it!" 😂
As neat as the Thumby is, you should check out the TinyTV they make. I got it bundled with my Thumby pledge and it is AMAZING. It simulates the feel of old TVs with changing channels and everything. And I mean, it does it WELL. If you change the channel, you miss part of the show on the other channel. There's a brief static burst between changes, and it really has a tube feel even though it's a tiny LCD.
Broooo uhhhh got a link or anything? 😃😃
This is so silly. I want 20.
I want to make some indepth games for it, even if nobody plays them.
So do I. I'm thinking an adaptation of Iron Lung as my absolute endgame.
Me too 😂
The screen bezels are huge. No sale!
Cute Keychain.
Imma get 1
nice
I can see my hands getting cramped after a couple of hours.
it's cute, didn't pick one up though, it's too small even for me
Yeah, I'm not sure how actually usable this is if you are over age 25....
@@Retr0Rob thats what she said

If you are ever shrunk to say... 25% of your current size you are totally going to thankful for this thing!
