It seems like every young generation comes into music think the Tele is just for country music. So many discover the tele 10-15 years later and fall totally in love with it.
Great review George! Love the Tele, my favorite guitar of all time! Thank you for posting this. I have SGs and Les Pauls, but I love the sound of telecaster. Let me ask you, have you ever had a rosewood neck tele? I feel and the like the Maple neck, because the maple neck has more "snap", which is what I like, I would have to have seen/hear some AC/DC, the Cars, Beatles, that kind of stuff. What amp or software emulator were you using? Sorry for the many questions!
Thank you for watching! I have played a rosewood neck tele.. it was really nice. I am playing my mesa mark v 25 in this video for most of the sounds. The song in the intro was recorded on a Marshall jcm 2000
Hello George! Sorry to bother you again. I love the music you play in the video when you write "Jazz." Do you have the Tab of that piece? Or do you know where I can find it? Thank you so much! Greetings! David.
Hello David! No bother at all. That's an arrangement of Autumn leaves but I don't have a tab. I'm sure there's plenty of good ones on UA-cam! I give lessons if you're interested in learning arrangements like that as well. Thanks, George
Hello! Good video! Thank you! I have bought a Telecaster exactly like yours, and it is also from 2009, but I don't know what pickups it has. Please, can you tell me what pills he has? Texas Special? Alnico? Vintage? Other?? Thank you so much. Greetings from Madrid!
Hey Guitar George, I have this exact guitar but the player series, I find the high e string is not as loud through the amp as the lower strings even b & g. Did you find this to be the case. Great videos by the way.
@@guitar_george would you describe this guitar as light or heavy in weight. I may be wrong but I'm betting it's under 7 lbs. It's a really good sounding Telecaster. In my experience the best sounding Telly's are usually lightweight.

It takes time to discover.. Possibly because it's not the flashiest but it just does what it does so damn well! Definitely not just for country 🤠
It's the Ford F-150 of guitars.

Thank you so much! I'm not sure what pickups they are, I haven't changed them from when I bought the guitar brand new in 2009

Thanks! That's not the case for me. I would have it set up and have the string height and pickup height adjusted. That should solve your problem
@@guitar_george Thank you for your response! Guitar is only 1 month old. I might take it bac to get looked at.
That's a good sounding Telecaster, do you know if the body is Ash or Alder?
Thanks! It's an Alder body.

I think when I weighed it, it was 7 pounds exactly. I agree, the lighter, the better!
