great demo, but one safety point, Always use the "topping lift", or the "lazy jacks" in your case to support the boom, as if the halyard goes down too fast, it can drop the boom onto someones head!!, so Tighten these, do the reef, then let them go!
Reef at 20 knots. Is that apparent or true? Beware of gusty conditions. Our jib sheet clew snap shackles self-released under enormous load from a very sudden, very violent gust when sailing up the east coast of Scotland. Dragonfly 800. No time to reef! Had the shackles not self-released and instantly freed the jib, sail area would have exceeded these safety parameters by some margin. These are great boats but pay close attention to gust forecasts and reef for forecast gust speeds not for current wind reading.

Great combination of demo and decision making instruction!
Et voilà ! Well done Jens and Peter! Great video
Nice video, perfect boat
Thanks for these videos!
Love the videos. Great information! Thanks guys!
Nice demo thanks.
I thing what I wonder, is what is the right tension of forestay?
Sport 25 jib reefing recommendation? Given the small size of the 25 self tacking jib, seems this position would be different than 28 or 32 boats.
Is there a fin under the main hull ?
Thanks for this! Very helpful for those of us with custom trimarans. When you say reef at 20kts, is that true or apparent?

А что будет если перевернуться в океане на тримаране?
Pumping the winch damages the pawls. Tsk tsk.
???????
Why not illustrate your points with the actual boat rather than your mouth?
Nose dive = pitch-pole
have a look how masaudon composit makes stronger and much lighter boots ....you old fashion
