How to Make The Best Gluten Free Banana Bread, Amazingly Delicious

  • Today I made this gluten free Banana Bread. With this recipe, no one will ever know it is gluten free. You can make this banana bread with regular wheat flour if you are not wanting gluten free. The recipe below will guide you through the process of making this delicious Gluten Free Banana Bread
    I use Krusteaz Gluten Free flour for all my gluten free recipe's. You can use whatever flour you're comfortable with.
    Ingredients you will need:
    1/2 Cup softened butter
    3/4 Cup brown sugar (I use light brown sugar)
    2 Eggs beaten
    2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
    1/2 Cup sour cream
    2 Ripe Bananas
    1 1/2 Cups gluten free flour or regular flour
    1 Teaspoon baking soda
    1 Tablespoon sugar (I use raw sugar)
    Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees and lightly butter your loaf pan, set it to the side for now.
    Mix the softened butter and brown sugar together then mash in the bananas in a bigger bowl, this is the bowl you will mix all your ingredients in to make the final batter.
    In a small bowl crack the 2 eggs in a bowl and beat, now add the vanilla and sour cream and mix until mostly combined.
    Now combine the flour, sugar and baking soda i a separate bowl and whisk to incorporate.
    Finally, add the mixed eggs, vanilla and sour cream to the big bowl of brown sugar and butter and stir, now add the flower mix slowly until all the ingredients are combined into the batter.
    Pour into your loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes. Remove and make sure no batter sticks to a toothpick, if so, bake a little longer.
    Remove from loaf pan immediately and allow to cool slightly before slicing into the delicious banana bread you just made from scratch!

    I've never seen a cast iron loaf pan before. What a find! I love cast iron. When I married my husband, he came with his own cast iron skillet. Your banana bread looks tasty!

      I tried to use cast-iron as much as possible. Most of my indoor cookware is enameled cast-iron now. The banana bread is very moist for being gluten-free. You can make it with just regular wheat flour with the same recipe. Thank you again for watching.

    Looks delicious. Like you mentioned, I'd add some nuts for crunch and texture. Keep posting more videos.

      Thank you! Nobody will ever know it’s gluten free. This is the best banana bread I’ve ever tasted. I like walnuts in it, but no one else in the family does. I will have a new video coming this coming week.
