My man Quentin Bisch made a "leather aquatic" in Kenzo Homme EDP (which is a great smelling, insane BEAST of a frag, btw, especially for the $50 it goes for), and JPG was like "hold my beer...hey, Q, want to make a green aquatic for US?", and he was like "sure"...and I'm here for it. Bisch is not only my favorite modern perfumer, but he's quickly climbing the charts of the all-time greats.

Mr. Maritime is a great summer frag, a good sparkly marine scent. Love that juice. ADG Profumo is the scent that started my journey. I still carefully wear my OG bottle.
I work for ysl and Armani and sell them inside a popular Macy’s and profondo I found was more popular then the parfum. That being said the parfum is my personal favorite and seems to be the most masculine
ADG Parfum is my biggest blind-buy regret, smells similar to Kenzo Homme and to my nose it is rather unpleasant. I wanted something to substitute Dior Sauvage EDP for the summer because I'm getting bit bored of it, but will most likely buy YLS Y instead because I had a chance to test it and liked it very much. I'm still on a hunt for something similar to Boss Bottled Collector's Edition, it was my first proper fragrance and I still love it, but I've been trying to spare last drops for special occasions since it's been hard to find replacement. One last thing is to grab bottle of Terre d'Hermes, I tried it at airport and really liked it. It has the citrus flavor I like in YSL l'Homme but with far better longevity, I could smell it the next day where as YSL is gone in couple hours.
really good additions for your personal style. I can definitely recommend Penhaligons Mr. Sam even though I don't think it is very similar to Halfeti. I think Mr. Sam is more spicy and cozy than Halfeti which is very masculine and clean in my opinion. I would love to purchase 3 more fragrances for my own collection and here are some fragrances I consider buying. PDM Haltane/Initio Oud for Greatness, Xerjoff 40 Knots/Torino 21, Nishane Ani/Ani X, Montale Arabians Tonka. Best Wishes and a happy new year from Austria to all of you!

i agree with ysl y edp intense being more “smooth” than ysl y edp, especially without the apple note it becomes toned down but still projects around 3 feet for me
Halfeti is on my list for sure, possibly the cedar version (not a fan of the leather one). I bought Juniper Sling to wear over the holidays, the performance is crap but I love it anyway. Perfect mix of holiday spice and summer freshness for Christmas in the Caribbean, and I'm a gin guy too. The new portraits character, the elephant one, has sesame in it so I'm really interested in trying it but in general that line has been a bust for me. Where I'm at it's much more expensive but it smells more synthetic and designer-y to me. Don't get the designer Halfeti, just get actual Halfeti imo

I'm not Omar but what i could recommend based on your other fragrances would be to try out the Azzaro most wanted line, givenchy gentleman reserve privée or bvlgary man in black. If you have more budget try some PDM oajan or TF ombré leather.

YSL Y edp is the most boring fragrance I’ve ever smelled. Women go crazy for it but I literally can’t stand the smell because it’s so generic and uninteresting. I was at Sephora the other day with my sister and went to show her why I don’t like it and accidentally sprayed the Intense bottle without realizing it. Imagine my surprise when I actually really liked the smell! Suffice to say, I think I may end up purchasing a bottle of the Intense, I’m pleasantly surprised at how great it is, coming from that line.

nishane ani for sure. I got a new batch, longevity 12hrs and abt 3-4hr of moderate projection. the scent trail is unreal though. Side effet new batches are pretty weak from what i have heard
I've had both at the same time - Idk the ingredient list, but the woody cedar smell definitely smells similar, but blazing Mr Sam is definitely smokier and has a more tobacco scent to it. Definitely distict to me. Halfeti is unisex imo (had women compliment me and say they want it for themselves) Mr Sam is for Men. For anyone blind buying, I definitely feel like Halfeti is the safer option and more mass appealing.
