Ohh fun, I love Tim Minchin! Tim is a very deep thinker. Ha started his career writing this kind of music. He recently broke in to a more serious lane that is also well worth checking out. A couple of years ago he wrote and directed the musical Matilda based on Roald Dahls book. That is also phenomenal. But I will always love his humorous side. He have a bunch of full stage shows well worth checking out. For Prejudice I think what he is trying to point out is, as you mentioned, how loaded the n-word is and the prejudice is that we automatically jump to the conclusion that it's that word he is speaking of and then he sticks it in our face how wrong and prejudice we all are. One you would love is "Ten foot c**k and a few hundred virgins" but I'm not sure how suitable it is for a reaction video 😂. Maybe save that one for watching in private. Not perfect and White wine in the sun are two amazing more serious songs of his that I just love. Dark side is comedy genius and piano and singing amazingnes.
Love this! Tim was a big influence on Bo. 100% need a deep dive into his rabbit hole. Highly, highly recommend “If I Didn’t Have You” (look for the version that’s about 11-12 minutes to get some of his standup with it. “Storm,” “The Good Book,” “Thank You, God,” and really anything else are also excellent and deserve attention.
The man is a genius. And a word-magician. Every single song is brilliant. Was so surprised to see you react to Tim. I follow you because of kpop...but have been a fan of Tim Minchin for many many more years than I have been listening to Kpop. Love it. Glad you liked him. Yes, he is so funny and so talented. His voice is lovely. It all is.
He is a musical genius... the controversy is just a thought provoking exercise Dark and funny: Storm Funny and funny: Mitsubishi Colt and re the timing - Three minute song (any version)
Oh I am so glad you liked it. He is one of my favourites as he scratches my lyrical and musical brain. Since Hi Ren introduced me to YT reaction videos I spent some time reminding myself of all Tim’s work. And his interviews are really good too.
Aww heck yeah! Tim is such an incredible talent and I'm absolutely thrilled you got this as a request! Hope you enjoy this new rabbit hole lol! Take care y'all!
OMG you found our Tim!!!! Tim is a musical comic Genius! Try Darkside next maybe or Storm or as a parent my personal favorite Lullaby! Bummer someone spoilt the twist! Tim wrote the songs and music for the Musical Matilda that won The Olivier award for best musical among many other awards.
So happy you found Tim. He has so much great content, do some others like 'Thank you God', 'Storm', 'Lullaby' before getting to the beautiful 'White wine in the sun'. It's a great rabbit hole.
Tim so funny, intelligent and soo good on the piano. Bo has said Tim was a big influence! Oh you are one of the few reactors that get that the original word implied is in fact the topic for the whole song, ginger is a substitute to make it more palatable.
Thank you for picking up on the depth of this song's meaning delivered so intelligently and humorously. Tim Minchin has so many layers of talent and displays them so well in this song. It is worth going over and peeling the onion on it.
Glad Tim hit you like that. It is a the beginning of a journey. My suggestion, if you do want to explore more, there is an order to watch them… Lullaby Inflatable You Thank you God Storm The Pope Song. Dark Side (awesome version) will be suggested. The piano work on this is epic - not overstated. White Wine in the Sun. There are two Australian Christmas songs… How to make Gravy (by Paul Kelly), and this Tim’s White Wine in the Sun. I won’t say anything other than offer important context… he’s Australian, living in London, away from family, and it’s Summer time in Australia when it’s Christmas, and therefore our Christmases are usually a lunch outside. If I didn’t have you
aww was biting my nails looking at chat hoping no spoilers haha. 'Cus yeah, Its pretty obvious if its not the first one that comes to mind, there's literally only one possibilty left. Aaanyways always enjoy watching still, and hope you find intrigue in this man, and do more of his songs. Hes hilarious. I recommend Dark Side (Awesome Version) - Its extra fancy pianowise, and shows his crazy playing. Keeps me motivated to learn the instrument myself over the years. (edit) on second thought, if youre more interested in his wordplay please do Storm next instead.
Tim has been my favourite artist for many, many years now. Ren is snapping at his heels, but I still have a soft spot for Tim. You will like many of his songs. Clever with words, musical talent to burn, very funny and a beautiful voice. Oh, and a really nice guy too!
Tim Minchin is one of the smartest musical comedians around. He wrote the music/lyrics for Matilda the musical- School Song is one of the most prolific uses of the phonetic sounds of letters to spell out the alphabet throughout the song is gold. He also wrote Groundhog Day the musical as well. Aussie icon
Tim is a genius, combining his musical talent with his comic flair. He has been in several TV shows, one of which you could check out with him playing a rocker alongside David Duchovny in season 6 of Californication. More recently he's been in an Australian series called Upright which is very good.
Tim can be serious as well. The song White wine in the sun is special. Tim was my brother’s favourite artist when he was alive and went to every live performance he could
I squealed with joy when I got the notification that the brain of Anthony Ray is reacting to the brain of Tim Minchin! Total early Christmas gift! I've been saving this for a day when I really, really need it and you did indeed make my entire morning 🥰 (Not just commenting for the algorithm 😅)
Great reaction - yes I agree that this does find a way to point out truth. Even more recently I still find Tim insightful and funny in whatever he creates. Welcome to Tim's world.
Tim Minchin used to be the king of comedy song before Bo Burnham took his crown. Tim was a huge influence on Bo but Tim agrees the student has become the master. Tim has mostly moved on to write musicals and write and star in TV-shows (His show Upright is one of the best things I've seen in a long time). The song "Rock and Roll Nerd" really tells you a lot about Tim: ua-cam.com/video/XP9pnSXhibw/v-deo.htmlsi=zbcM1anV1t85By_t
Don't know why I'm so triggered by it....but Tim isn't like Bo...Bo is like Tim ;) Shame you had the fun taken out of this one for you, but tonnes more ahead....Dark Side, Rock N Roll Nerd, Thank You God, Storm, Pope Song, Some People Have It Worse Than Me...10 foot rooster... All amazing. Oh, and there's not many people have reacted to The Song for Phil Daoust, a personal favourite and somewhat topical for other recent reactions :D
Tim proving once again that "musical comedian" is the hardest gig in show biz. Not only do you have to be a top tier comedian but you need to be a top tier musician too, or it just doesn't work. Most of us would be happy being average in either one of those disciplines, musical comedians are just built different.
Around 2010 he did a bunch of serious songs and became a composer, so not all of his stuff is humor. A few funny ones from him to check out: Inflatable You Pope Song (with lyrics).... the popular one without lyrics is really low quality and choppy Thank you God (not the one vs the sydney orchestra) Dark Side (awesome version) Confessions (get a version with the white shirt, not the coat) Song for Wossy If i didn't have you (full uncut version)- he should be wearing a white shirt in it Three Minute Song
Bo burnham is a huge fan of minchin, a big influence apparently. Minchin is an absolute genius, a virtuoso on the piano and a lyrical guru. It's about prejudice and the G word is prejudiced. Not as bad as the N word but still in the same context. The pope song Stormy There the next two that are worth reacting to
I love this from Tim Minchin he is incredibly talented. Anything you pick from him will be great.
OMG you found Tim Minchin. He's a fucking GENIUS. All of it's brilliant!
Ohh fun, I love Tim Minchin!

A good selection, though you missed The Pope Song ;) Oh an Inflatable You.
It all is.
His Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar was stunning- love Tim Minchin-
He is a musical genius... the controversy is just a thought provoking exercise
Dark and funny: Storm
Funny and funny: Mitsubishi Colt
and re the timing - Three minute song (any version)
I second the 'Storm' recommendation.
lullaby is another must as well as inflatable you and white wine in the sun.
How about "Dark Side" got a few nice rock callbacks, great piano skills, bit dark, bit funny. One of my favorites.
Lol, I went on such a crazy deep dive when I first tripped over Tim, he's so brilliant! And he definitely has a dark twist to him too :)
An Australian gem. Thx for doing Tim. More please💕👍🦇
Oh I am so glad you liked it. He is one of my favourites as he scratches my lyrical and musical brain. Since Hi Ren introduced me to YT reaction videos I spent some time reminding myself of all Tim’s work. And his interviews are really good too.
So happy you’re doing Tim Minchin! I’ve seen him live with his orchestra & he’s amazing! Anything by him & you won’t go wrong! 😃 Love your reactions!
Bo Burnham is inspired by Tim Minchin. If you want to see Tim absolutely tear up the piano, watch Dark Side.
I got to see him live in Seattle a few years ago and it was amazing. His word play and humor are on point.
All his stuff is brilliantly funny and his musical skills when he incorporates them just give it that bit of extra bit of mwahh
I am so happy you are reacting to Tim!! I am going to see him live in a couple of months, he is insanely intelligent and a musical genius!
Love Tim Minchin. That's an amazing concert.
If you want to hear his writing at its best, you should check out Storm - Tim Minchin, it is stupidly impressive
He is an Australian national treasure❤
I love Tim Minchin. He is also a beatboxer. He loops as well.
Aww heck yeah! Tim is such an incredible talent and I'm absolutely thrilled you got this as a request! Hope you enjoy this new rabbit hole lol! Take care y'all!

Oh I love Lullaby. I wonder how it hits if one isn’t a parent or guardian …….the way it gets steadily more and more crazed
Tim is so underrated, glad more people can see him on youtube.
Not Perfect by Tim will always hold a special place in my heart 💜
So happy you found Tim. He has so much great content, do some others like 'Thank you God', 'Storm', 'Lullaby' before getting to the beautiful 'White wine in the sun'. It's a great rabbit hole.
Its still about what you think its about, even when the song goes in that unexpected direction, because its all prejudice.
Tim so funny, intelligent and soo good on the piano. Bo has said Tim was a big influence!
Oh you are one of the few reactors that get that the original word implied is in fact the topic for the whole song, ginger is a substitute to make it more palatable.
Dive dive dive! Great rabbit hole to dive down - the word play and musicality in his work is brilliant.
Nice one mate! I love Tim. So glad you've done this.
Can't wait for more of your work.
Big love from Spain
Thank you for picking up on the depth of this song's meaning delivered so intelligently and humorously. Tim Minchin has so many layers of talent and displays them so well in this song. It is worth going over and peeling the onion on it.
The rabbit hole is deep. But check out "You Grew on Me" - possibly the funniest, cleverest love song on earth.
So glad you found Tim! Genius.
Bo heard Tim and said I'm going to do that.
Yes please, I'll follow you down this rabbit hole!
The Pope Song is a good one by him, as is White Wine in the Sun. There’s others I’m sure have already been mentioned or will be. For the rabbit hole.
White wine in the sun is a perfect Aussie Christmas song
@@lollypopangel123 And one more for the heck of it, Not Perfect: ua-cam.com/video/dg3PberzvXo/v-deo.htmlsi=cAHVwue8D_ULQaxi

So glad you liked this. Please do more. Great artist💕👍🦇
Since its the holiday time, Check out White Wine in the Sun. Its my favorite Christmas song and he donates during Nov-Dec any money the song makes.
Yes you got it! He is a highly intelligent man, he touches one some controversial topics and says what others only think. His content is gold tho.
Tim can be serious as well. The song White wine in the sun is special. Tim was my brother’s favourite artist when he was alive and went to every live performance he could

Master: Pianist, Singer, Comedian, Composer, Playwright, Social Commentator. Welcome to the brilliant Minchin rabbit hole.
Love how everyone is reacting to Tim he’s funny as 🖤
you're so right - knowing there was a twist spoils the reaction. just like when a ginger girl was told it was a ginger song, before she reacted to it
Lullaby next. You will love it.
Storm and Inflatable You are my favorite comedy songs but i will always love White Wine in the Sun the most.
Great reaction - yes I agree that this does find a way to point out truth. Even more recently I still find Tim insightful and funny in whatever he creates.

Tim stared and co wrote and produced a tv series called Upright that is well worth watching.
He's brilliant
Tim Minchin used to be the king of comedy song before Bo Burnham took his crown. Tim was a huge influence on Bo but Tim agrees the student has become the master.

Oh, and there's not many people have reacted to The Song for Phil Daoust, a personal favourite and somewhat topical for other recent reactions :D
Subverting the expectation - comedy!
You need to watch the pope song by him
Tim is one of Bo's inspirations.

Lullaby xx
I subbed because you called the dude out for spoiling it 😂
Oooh, could you bring some more jazz here for us? Pretty please?
If you like something with more of a dark side, check out Tim Minchin Dark Side (awesome version). Deep as Bro.
Around 2010 he did a bunch of serious songs and became a composer, so not all of his stuff is humor. A few funny ones from him to check out:
Inflatable You
Pope Song (with lyrics).... the popular one without lyrics is really low quality and choppy
Thank you God (not the one vs the sydney orchestra)
Dark Side (awesome version)
Confessions (get a version with the white shirt, not the coat)
Song for Wossy
If i didn't have you (full uncut version)- he should be wearing a white shirt in it
Three Minute Song
Are you saying he wasn’t a composer until he started doing “serious songs” ??? I certainly hope not!!!
You NEED to react to his song "Confessions"! TRUST ME!
He is a genius like Ren, but different.
Seen him a few times just got tickets to his latest tour. Check out Talked too much, stayed too long 😊
👍
He sings this with Ed sheeran which is very funny. You would love 'dark side'
As soon as that dude spoiled in the chat I almost clicked off, watching people react to the twist is great
Naughty DoctorPsi 😆 As if he spoiled it lol
Darkside is a must
It's so catchy. I caught myself singing the chorus of the second half while I was doing my groceries! lol (boooo to the spoiler!)
Clicked immediately.
Bo burnham is a huge fan of minchin, a big influence apparently.
Minchin is an absolute genius, a virtuoso on the piano and a lyrical guru.
It's about prejudice and the G word is prejudiced. Not as bad as the N word but still in the same context.
The pope song
Stormy
There the next two that are worth reacting to
It's such a shame you had a spoiler.
He was cast in Jesus Christ Super Star and he is fabulous!!!!!
Ah Mate! This song is awesome because everything he said can be used for the n word.
