    Glad you’re starting to feel better! Your ornament stocking is just SO beautiful, and you’re so close to a finish! I hope to stitch that stocking one day. I feel exactly the same way about Woman in a Field of Flowers, it’s exquisite, the dress, the flowers, the way she’s standing looking into the distance… what a pleasure it will be to work on that one! Keep feeling better and we’ll be chatting soon ☺️💕

      Thanks, I am getting excited about a first finish on a Dimensions Kit and you helped immensely with your ideas on the floss tags.
      I watched your video on how you kit up kit floss and that along with putting the pattern in IBook has really made working on it much easier. ❤️

      If I back stitch as I go in sections I’m usually fine, I actually enjoy it. But if I leave the whole piece till the end to backstitch that is another story!

    I’m glad you’re feeling better - it’s good to see you! 🤗 I’ll update the title of your Fall in Yosemite piece and send you a new cover page. 😊🍂🏞️ Oh goodness - those charts you showed at the end are so pretty! I think I’ll need to go check them out. I like the one you’re starting, but I’m a little worried about how much confetti that will have. 😵‍💫 If I decide to join you guys, I’ll let Katherine know. 🥰

    • @highwaystitchercoletteking5633
      @highwaystitchercoletteking5633  Рік тому

      Thank you for sending me a new color page with the title! And yes I seem to be on the mend. I usually get sick around my birthday, guess it must be the weather changing or kids and the new combination of germs!
      I just uploaded the pattern we are starting, (Woman in a field of flowers) into PK. It seems to me that it is about medium as far as the confetti amount goes. There were sections with larger areas of the same one or two colors to sections of maybe 5 to a few more colors in a block. Certainly not as bad as Fall In Yosemite was last week! I’m stitching on Autumn Montage right now and it seems like a breeze to stitch compared to Yosemite. (And the montages have their share of confetti)
      I was definitely not going to start another one but when Kathryn showed it on her video there was something about that girl….. ❤️
      Of course I would love to have you start it too!

    Wow…you got so much accomplished even though you were sick. I love every pattern you pick…I am going to have to stop myself from adding the Jeanette Douglas pattern but it is beautiful too. We will see if I am successful in sticking with the patterns I have now. Don’t worry about creating a few new words…the way language is today, they are quite plausible. I think I am going to use 50 weight quilt thread for my backstitch on the birdhouse Sal because of the tiny stitches on 28 count one over one. Thrilled you are using a similar idea.

    • @highwaystitchercoletteking5633
      @highwaystitchercoletteking5633  Рік тому

      That sounds like a great idea on 28 Ct over one. My Gutterman thread is 30 wt so just a tad thicker than 50, which I think is working well with 25 Ct over one.
      I was having a hard time coming up with ideas for birthday starts with Krista, but when she showed me the Jeannette Douglas pattern I fell in love! ❤️

    Good Morning Colette, 5.1C here in Ontario, Canada. I will be looking forward to seeing your beautiful start in the next few weeks. You are so close to a finish to your stocking, will it be ready for this Christmas?

      My plan is to finish the stitching up by Christmas but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to fully finish in time. I can’t sew curves very well so I might send it out for finishing. 🙂

      Yes, it’s a new thing now. I don’t use it enough to justify paying. Oh well just counting still accomplishes it.
