Had the honour of playing his support in Irvine one night. He was a class act who was as good as Marvin Gaye and should have been an international superstar. Billy Connolly knew that and should have pushed his name a lot harder.
Brilliant, remember when he did a double bill at the Burnett Arms in Kemnay with the Facels, Chris Mclure he was known as then ,NEVER forget ,late 60s.
