- Welcome to Vlogmas 2023! I'm taking you along with me each day through December 25th. This year we are traveling full-time in our van! December is going to keep us in Florida, but there will be loads of interesting places that we see and of course knitting, crochet, Disney, and lots of Toaster! I loved Toaster's responses in this episode. He is so cute! Our dogs do that too. But the one we got for them are shared with our 4 dogs and thankfully there airways at least 4 if not 6. We have an outside offer dog so he gets the bigger ones that the little dogs don't want/ like.
I went to Four Purls around 4 pm and took my dog with me. She wasn't relaxing in there. So instead of staying around so we could meet, I shopped for a Christmas present for myself. I got yarn to make myself the Fading Memories cowl and got more yarn to make the Cooma Cowl. I don't drive well at night anymore so I left to get back to my RV in Dundee. It's just the town over from Winter Haven. I didn't meet you but I now have pretty yarn to make myself some presents. Four Purls has been a blessing in my life. I received lots of yarn for my charity knitting 4 years. I knit hats and scarves for the Mission in Winter Haven and more for the Soldiers and Sailors home in Erie Pa. So I stay busy. Happy that you finally made it to the home of Emma's Yarn.

My sons totally agree with Kent that violent night was a great Christmas movie!
Violent Night is the second best christmas movie, right after Diehard.
I don’t know the Schitt Creek reference, but Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers had a hit song called Islands in the Stream many years ago.

Since it looked like there were only 2 penguin buttons you could always use them as a fun accent on the top cuff of a pair of socks if you have someone who is a fan of penguins in your life.

An hour and 10 minutes to Winter Haven was probably really good. We have a saying “Orlando is an hour from Orlando”. Wondering if you miss NY’s mass transit?
Lol! That's a good saying! I do miss not having to drive. Though everywhere in Manhattan is half an hour anyway 😅 Just don't have to think as hard when you're not driving!
How do you get an Advent?
I get mine from independent dyers! Usually they go on sale in the spring or summer.
