@@killermed95 I also have the Sabre 1300. I love it, but had a bit of trouble at low speed at first. Dropped it three time in the first 3 weeks. No damage except destroyed pegs which I replaced with floor boards. My only complaint was the stubby stock mirrors. I could not see trucks following me at all. I got ape hanger mirrors now, and my view to the rear is excellent. And Ya, no tach, and fuel gauge really sucks. Also I keep trying to hit 6th gear, and there ain't none. Oops! Other than that, it is a keeper.

I have the 2010 Sabre, basically the same bike, same engine and drivetrain, same 21inch front wheel, the Sabre has a pro street bike look with shorter front forks.
I bought it new and I've only had to do basic maintenance to it, oil changes, tires, and batteries. It still has the factory headlight and taillight bulbs still in it..
The reliability of these bikes is almost supernatural, mine still runs and looks like new. Not one issue with my bike in 13yrs.

My first bike was an '11 Fury that I bought in '14. Eventually traded for an MT-09 because I'm an adrenaline junkie but really you can't ask for a better bike if you want that chopper look and feel with factory prices and servicing and parts. Pro tip: yank the baffles out of the pipes and it'll sound how it looks.

the stateline was way better, they stuck with the 1300 that was first put on VTX series to which I have now and has more power (100hp/75 torque carbed). I hated that they got rid of cluster on tank and put it in the handle bar. Less space to put things on the bar or even put a drag bar on. Cant put a cowel on it like most cruisers etc, its a great look but they tuned the engine down for MPGs but id rather take 37mpg with more power vs 42+ etc. The only thing they really kept was motor/and headlight design (best style out there).

OC, The thing about the fury that is amazing is that Honda designed and engineered a chopper that is actually rideable. Normally choppers are super difficult to turn/swerve and make terrible street bikes, but Honda set out to make a street friendly chopper and the fury was born. You have to remember that back in the 70’s and 80’s choppers were the original drag bikes made to go high speed in a straight line. They took Harley’s and Triumphs, chopped off as much weight as possible (hence the name), souped up the engine, and stretched out the rake to make it stable while accelerating.

If you’re looking for a bike that does it’s job, has the looks and is unique, has a beautiful sound with a aftermarket exhaust and don’t really care about a super sport that goes 140+ mph on the highway this is your bike, chase is not a cruiser guy, and in my personal opinion, I’d ride it even though it doesn’t go 150+ mph on the highway. That sparkle yellow is beautiful in the sun

I ride a 2011 Fury and absolutely love it. It took a few miles to get the feel for it but it has been awesome every time since. The first 2 or 3 years of production, most Furys came with chrome wheels, handlebars, engine block and side panels. Around 2013 they started blacking out these same parts. Each year Honda chooses one or two different paint options. I am not a big fan of some paint options, but with 12+ years of production, I am sure most people can find a color/package that they will enjoy. Thanks for the review. Keep up the good work.

I love the bike so much it's pretty much a most important one to ever take a nice cruise and imprint self-sufficiency to a person's mellow immunity. Although the Shadow Phantom is the motorcycle I certainly wanna own and ryde on to pick as a first ever, the Fury really is a dope motorcycle 💯💯💯

I am a Cruiser guy, and I am a Honda fan. I bought the new Honda Rebel 1100 DCT when it first came out last year, and love it. If the Fury came with the DCT, I probably would have bought it. Not a big fan of the yellow though.
I enjoy changing the things that I'm not thrilled with, like the stock seat. The stock seat on my Rebel sucked, so I got a nice Corbin seat which cost too much but feels great and makes the bike look much better.
I also changed out the exhaust, going with the Two Brothers Racing competition slip-on. Sounds awesome and gave it a little pep I think. A nice set of 12" Ape's with an extended wiring kit, and it's just about done.
The Fury needs higher bars and that is about it. I am a fan of the minimal look and they handled it well. Good brakes would have to be a priority though. My friend Gus put some EBT double H sintered pads on his Rebel and I did too and they seem to work much, much better than stock.

I suggest checking one of these for yourself and not let his lack of experience affect your opinion. .. the yellow and gray is not the best color for it.. For some context, I grew up racing motocross. My first street bike was a used 1988 Honda shadow. After that have owned 4 Cbr 600s, 3 being 600rr.
I bought my 2020 fury brand new in may of 2021. I still have my Cbr 600rr as well. I made a few changes to it, exhaust/lights/intake/fuel management/etc. I scraped both pegs cornering within 3 miles of leaving the showroom. I have since started scraping my aftermarket exhaust recently as I no longer have peg sliders and the exhaust hits before the footpeg.
I wish they had put the 1800 engine in it but the 1300 is good.
For being 8.5 feet long I feel she's quite nimble for her size.
You made mention of the west coast choppers feel of the design, that's what they were going for and at the same time being able to be mass produced. I heard that Jesse James helped in the design aspect of it but cannot confirm.
Overall she is definitely a good ride depending on the type of ride you want to take. Living in Eastern Tennessee, if you are looking for the tail of the dragon, the fury is not your bike, other roads around here are better suited. I've pretty much put it as east of Knoxville is sport bike roads, west of Knoxville are cruiser roads.
I have enjoyed the bike and have no regrets in my purchase.

If you lubricate the clutch cable with engine oil and let it pass through the entire cable. Also greasing up the leaver assembly
The clutch cable you should secure it propperbly with cable ties where it’s located in the plastic clamps along the frame, you will feel the clutch much easier to handle. I did that on my friends Fury, small operation.
Remember to adjust the free play when the steering is turned fully left and adjust the freeplay to minimum. Then when you go straight the freeplay fits perfect.

In the early models they did color matched frames. I think a yellow frame with the silver wheels (yellow/yellow/silver) would make it look a ton better than the yellow/grey/black.
Also I've heard a bunch of fury owners say they want a 6 speed. Might help with mpg even if it doesn't have the power to fully utilize it for speed.
Lastly they need to bring back the vtx1800 motor (101hp/117ft-lbs) for the fury or boost the output of the current motor.

Your inexperience with cruisers really shows throughout this video. The grips are not big they are normal size, the clutch is not overly heavy but you can get a clutch pull relief, the ABS bike stops fine, the rear brake is linked to a middle piston on the front so if you use both brakes as you are supposed to everything works fine. The 21" front wheel is not big, 21" is the defacto standard for cruisers. Windshields are for wimps. Lastly the Fury handles exceptionally well for a chopper. You are correct that the Fury has not changed much over the years except for the colours and a revised fuel filter.

I’ve had my 2016 fury for a four years now and it’s still my overall favorite bike done a few changes to it but not many the only two things I wished they would change is it’s needs a six speed transmission and then wished they would offer a 1800 engine cause it needs more power like the m109 Suzuki but overall it gets way more attention than my Harley or Indian but great video

If the heels of your boots aren't ground off, you're not taking that corner fast enough!
Except for a few months when I wasn't thinking too clearly in 1983 with a Honda Sabre 45, I've only had Harleys since 1978. The Fury has 1300cc, and is a dog for power. Recall you riding the Sportster S, and really loving the available horses, technology, and ride-ability....and it's still a 1200. Not only a 1200, but powered DOWN from the same engine in the Pan American!

Great review, would like to see a Yamaha FJR 1300 review. I would like to know if it’s still relevant in today’s SPORTS TOURING segment. I’ve see your Kawasaki Concourse 1400 review, enjoyed very much, but I’ve checked & I don’t see FJR Review on FJR.

Honda incorporated a combined front/rear brake with the rear brake pedal. I had the Stateline and the Fury/Stateline/Interstate are all based on the same bike. Using the rear brake pedal makes a big difference as it also actuates the front brake. It's not as strong as the lever for the front but it does give both on the pedal.

I saw you ride the Fury in mid-high rpm like other sporty bikes. These custom v-twins likes to be ride in mid-low RPM by using their low end torque. By doing this, you'll have less vibration in the handle.

I really like it. I'm a Honda guy and I bought a CMX1100DCT a year ago, and I ride it every day down here in Kissimmee Florida.
If that Fury had a six-speed and maybe 10 or 15 more horsepower, I'd buy it. If I'm not mistaken, it is a seriously inexpensive bike too.

Its a really good concept, if Honda wants to make more sales they should consider 1. Different colors lol

    3. Dual front disc for better safety stopping.

I think we should consider a new type of first ride. Would be nice to see you explore the bike in a more active way. Driving slow in city traffic. It feels more like a podcast then a review. Personally I get bored 8-10 minutes into video. That is my personal experiences on the firs rides.
But, you got a very good variety of bikes and you ride a lot of new exciting motorcycles. Aggressive riding is the wrong word. But it would be nice to see you “test” the bike capability more.
    Just a though.

This is a very good looking cruiser, i say the last of commercial chopper style still available today. It had everything a cruiser chopper style need like the look, reliable, power, fuel efficience sitting position. The only thing this motocycle doesnt have is Harley Davidson logo on it. As a Harley owner myself, I gotta give this to Honda, they really make one hell of a bike !

Chase it was very interesting video! I really enjoy it because the cruisers are not very often on your channel. I wonder if you could ride and compare Yamaha 1900 rider with 1300 striker. That would be quite awesome comparison because there are only very few videos and not very informative. Thanks to you I’m ordering tomorrow MT07! Yeaaah! but I will improve the suspension by changing the oil to thicker Belray 15W and probably shorten the spacer by 10 to 15mm. This would eliminate the wobbling on the front suspension In the curves. Dave Moss tunning has a video about it.. Anyway thank you for your content, it’s is amazing and I am happy each time you release a new video!
