@@ArticulatedNinja I don’t think Todd wants the backlash he’ll get if he doesn’t include all of the initially advertised bonus accessories. If sales don’t keep rising, it’ll turn into adding more accessories to coax more pledges by offering more value. He’s captured the big fans already in the first couple of days, now he needs to do more to convince more people to buy in.
@@ArticulatedNinja the fact of the matter is that it is not ending now. It is ending after 30 days. todd has stated in an interview that the people at kickstarter told him that 1/3 of the funding will come on the first day, 1/3 will come on the last day, and 1/3 will come in the 28 days between. This was true of the first spawn kickstarter as well. Thats why he is distributing things the way that he is. he is expecting it to go over 3 million because of the first day revenue. Making the arguement that "if it stopped right now..." is not a realistic scenario, because everyone knows that it won't stop right now.
The Spawn action figure looks like it’s a $29.99 dollar price point. A One hundred thousand for this is outrageous and complete nonsense. One hundred thousand dollars is a half payment on owning a house. Thank you Articulated Ninja Reviews for the info. You rock!!!😊
By the time I heard about the kickstarter, it had fully funded, like, 4 times over. Just ridiculous! Why is he giving money to kickstarter? He'd earn more by just making the figures and selling them through his own shop!
Shipping wasnt that bad for me......the figurs plus shipping was a little over $65 for myself. However i am feeling ripped off with the Accessories that are being added instead of something better

Agree either you I just buy the bad guys like man bat, darkside etc ... they go well with my mafex other then that it's IMPOSSIBLE to find the figures you want
Grab the bigger ones like Doomsday or Lobo. Those scale well with 1/12. Other than those I'm with you. I only have 3 spawn figures and didn't pay Toddy anything for them.
I buy McFarlane stuff but I don't buy from his store because it's money upfront and shipping is high. So I understand what you mean by a smart consumer.
I love spawn and McFarlane toys but yes it does feel like we’re getting robbed on this one. Should’ve just been normal release with just sword and stand then have deluxe edition or separate weapon/Armor set.
Kickstarter Spawn is far better than standard release. Everything is already in production. He's just doing the level unlocks to keep interest all month. We will get them.
This is 100% it. It’s all already in production with (very likely) no intention of giving add ons in future unlocks outside of what we’ve already seen in videos in the “final” packaging. So he’s just making up goals and giving breadcrumbs to keep people interested. My guess is if he makes a million dollars more or $10 more we will still get all the same accessories.
@@TheBloodGamePL exactly. I commented on here somewhere with the price breakdown. All in it’s not a ripoff. We would obviously be getting all the accessories, the packaging and shipping are what makes it expensive. $58 for a deluxe figure with like 20 accessories isn’t too bad. I think he made the mistake of revealing all the accessories ahead of time for the people that don’t realize they’ll all be included, makes the unlocks seem lame. He just needs to say next video “you’re getting all of it and there’s no more unlocks”
@@butchersblade7068same. Only one thing has ever broken on any of my Necas, and it was the wrist bomb on one of my predators, everything else has been super solid
@@butchersblade7068I have a lot of neca too but several years ago they were breaking pretty easy, especially the predators. They just did a Sewer piece for 300… so they’re stupid too when it comes to this kinda shit.
With an initial goal of 100k and now sitting at a million plus is wild. And an unlock every 250k is diabolical. I don't collect McFarlane but this is definitely a terrible campaign. He saw the money coming in and decided to separate all the accessories behind 250k stretch marks. That would have been fine if it was at least 3 to 4 accessories per each 250k. Terrible way to handle this. You also make a valid point that if it would have been Hasbro they would have had more backlash. I honestly didn't know anything about this.
I am so glad I watched this video because I didn’t know this. I thought it came with all that stuff. I thought that was reasonable thinking guess not. I was about to purchase it this video saved me my money. Thank you.❤
Magnets? I've definitely fallen into the multi-verse. Imagine a company like Mafex crowd-funding a Spider-Man action figure because it has magnetic feet? Tiers being accessories such as webbing? Perhaps Hasbro ML should make Silver Surfer with magnetic feet their next Haslab.
I almost backed this. happy I saw this video first. I'm so sick of corporate greed. Companies are doing this with all sorts of products. Stop blaming politicians. Stop blaming COVID. Stop blaming shoplifting. This is Corporate Greed plain & simple.
I feel like some of the arguments presented here are a bit disingenuous. All of the accessories will be included with the figure. "Unlocking" them is just a tactic that's used to drive engagement. Most of the time when big companies do kickstarters, they know what they will include from the start, then they plan out the stretch goal intervals based on the momentum of the campaign. (exept for hasbro, their kickstarters are so bad that they actually fail sometimes) For example, if on the first day the total amount of funds raised was 50k , then he might start "unlocking" accessories after at 75k and 100k etc. instead of 250k and 500k. Its just about pacing the stretch goals out so they are unlocked throughout the campaign, and not just on the first day. Many board game companies take this approach, but they are a bit more subtle about it because they don't tell you how many stretch goals there are, so you don't know whats coming next. This is a better method for generating hype, but todd hasn't thought that far ahead. I could be wrong, but probably not.
"All the accessories will be included" is a funny statement considering if it stops right where it's currently at it won't be they need over 3.5 million for that " it's all Included" statement to be true but yea maybe I'm the disingenuous one.
@@ArticulatedNinja I think you are missing the point of what I said. He will change the target goal based on the pace of the funds raised. There is no list that states "at (x) dollars you unlock (y) accessory", he is just making it up at his discretion to generate interest. If pace of funds raised slows down, he will start "unlocking" items at smaller intervals, or he will unlock multiple items at a time to make sure that we get everything by the end. This thing is already in production. I would be very surprised if anything about it changes at all, including the 14 extra accessories.
Didn't rip me off i wasn't stupid enough to jump in ! This opens up the door to more rip off issues ! 😂😂. I'm going to be honest here folks ! It's the stupid people destroying prices by overpaying for trash then saying that's a good deal it's only worth what you'll pay for it nonsense 😂😂
Edit It's bad ass. It's a dream figure and medieval Spawn was my very first Spawn figure in the mid 90's. It's the coolest and most detailed figure he has ever done It's got 32 points of articulation and it's not a regular release.
There are figures that have around 32 articulation or more so that isn't really saying much. You like the character? Cool but we aren't going to act like hands and a sheath is goal worthy with the other accessories being a "maybe"
I agree with you! This is a dream figure for me, the details on it are phenomenal. You are also getting a premium package as well as all the accessories that will be included. The shipping is a bit much at $25 but this will be a hefty box. I realize this is not for everyone but IMO this is worth every penny of the $58 asking price.
Don't buy into this goal thing too much everyone. The last Spawn Kickstarter we ended up with all accessories regardless. Still about month left on this project, there's giveaway #6 shortly after this video posted. We'll end up with all accessories in the end, just my 2 cents
@kaycee310toysandcollectibl9 I agree , Todd father was generous the first Spawn Kickstarter. We ended up weapons and all of the head variations despite goals reached
@@kaycee310toysandcollectibl9 that would be nice. And I’m not trying to “shill” or take up for McFarlane here (just taking into account how Kickstarter campaigns & businesses work & are incentivized to work, regardless of any imposed ethics), but we’re not owed anything no matter how much money past the goal is made. That’s just the reality of the business model. Is McFarlane being a bit misleading with his wording and decisions regarding the rollout of accessories? I think so, yes. COULD he just give us all of the accessories upfront as he revealed them and got over 1mill? Definitely. But I don’t think the process by which this campaign is run is automatically indicative of the value (or lack thereof) inherent to the figure(s). That’s up to all of us to determine individually. I personally chose to back the campaign, but if we don’t get certain accessories that I’m looking forward to for whatever reason then I reserve the right to back out of it before it’s over. I get that these companies practices can be frustrating when they clearly or blatantly value profit over ppl, but there isn’t a single company that doesn’t or isn’t incentivized to engage in said practices to some degree under capitalism. And it becomes a bit annoying or unfun when we cherry-pick which entities do this like they’re such extreme outliers… especially entities that produce goods we don’t technically need. I personally think we should save some of our indignation for the companies doing this that produce necessities, not toy companies that we don’t have to bother with at all. Even with all that said, I’m not trying to restrict anyone’s opinion, just offering some of my own insight to hopefully add to the discussion in a productive way. I know we’ll never be able to fully recapture our childhood, no matter how many overpriced or affordable toys we buy as adults… we’ll never be able to go back to that feeling because we’re grown with jobs & responsibilities now. We no longer get to just enjoy our toys like we did as kids because we now have to consider their cost, how they’re made & paying that cost on our own. We’re privy to too much info about these products now out of necessity and I think that’s changed our relationship with toys… but we can still TRY to remember the point while we dig through all this muck… and just have fun lol.
I thought his most recent 1:10 scale “statues” were a little over priced when I saw them for $50 at Target, but I just bought his Spider-Man one for “clearance” today there for $25. However when I got home and was looking online a lot of sites have them listed for $24.99 off the bat? Target must have been gouging?!?
Thinking's about Mythic Legions as I watch this. 4HM used to do kickstarters for their own IP while it wasn't established well enough, but switched to regular preorders as soon as the line grew a loyal fanbase. Like sure, 4HM products have their own set of flaws and are built upon the reuse and kitbash system, but it was actually a small brand that started their own thing through kickstarters and are now offering orge scaled behemoths with accessories within regular preorder windows. If I'm not mistaken, they're around the same price as this Spawn, despite being bigger. Dunno the hell is up with people who support Todd's kickstarter. If he were an actual friend of the toy community he'd have at least more respect of the money that people are willing to spend on his crap.
All true and yes mythic legions has there own flaws but they was much smaller and eventually left crowdfunding , legions did things the right way for a small company with no nostalgia factor to it.
Anyone else worry about what 30 moving parts means? As opposed to saying 30 points of articulation it says 30 moving parts does that include the magnet parts? Where is the actual articulation on this thing?
I don't collect spawn, but when he announced the hands as an unlock, i nearly lost it. A sword. A sheath. A backpack to carry all the accessories into battle in there too??? But it comes with magnets! For armor parts that nobody is probably going to remove anyway! This makes hasbro Kickstarter projects look decent. Lol
FIRST thanks for calling him out Ninja! 100% agree lol I had an EASY time passing on this BS. But I do gotta say I like the vehicles he puts out :) ... He said "Possibly" lol I expect NOTHING LESS from the guy who calls his STATUES "PRE-POSED FIGURES" in order to introduce confusion. As soon as it sounded like it couldn't get any worse, Todd dropped a video, taking it another step down the road. I thought this edible had done me in it got so outrageous. I can believe Todd pulled this, though. He's just never this bold. Just... damn.
To add to what you said about the content creators I completely agree but then again most of them don't even pay for the figures they get them for free and turn around and tell you that all this thing is awesome.
@@ArticulatedNinja forgot to add this but we're not only paying for the figure we're also paying for those specific content creators to get it for free too.
They are deep dark elven magic not much is understood about what makes them so premium and groundbreaking in action figures but the power they possess is stuff of legend. Such power to get millions of dollars and make people believe that they must be forged somewhere in Asgard or middle earth.
As a big spawn fan I find his regular spawn releases extremely underwhelming lacking massive amounts of paint apps, alot even look like they just forgot to add paint to portions. I had most at one point and they just look really cheap next to other figs in my display room. Sold them real fast. I only own the first kickstarter and well now have purchased this one. Side by side the last kickstarter looks like a premium fig compare to a normal release, I’m hoping this one will as well. That being said I hate everything about his business motto, from platinums to gold labels to kickstarting. I think it’s all so whack for someone who can say he’s a King in this realm. I’ve been praying someone else would get the DC license and at this point maybe Todd should sell spawn, till then I gotta play ball with barefoot Todd.
Makes sense man I feel similar to you it sucks but I admit it sucks , some people out there actually agree with his mottos and thank him for being such a great " king" lol

@ArticulatedNinja of course! And btw, not a jab at you bro, I love your channel. For me, it's the beautiful presentation in the packaging, the ton of acessories thrown in. Yes, hands are part of it. But so are extra shields, extra weapons, huge axes, nice extra heads and armor, etc.
@ArticulatedNinja I'd also like to add that it's a lot easier to point out negatives than to go for positives. Negativity is infectious, much easier to spread than happiness. But when it's the hard earned dollar at stake here, I do understand how being critical is important. But does everybody and their cousin really gotta come out of the woodwork to shit on something they had never heard of in the first place?
@ArticulatedNinja we are both men here fighting about Opinions on something like this is stupid I like to hear people out before I make a judgment call. And I give you respect for calling it out
Awesome video Ninja! Yeah what Patrick thought was even if the crowdfund stops at $100,000 you get all the weapons shown in the video but McFarlane is doing a sleight of hand sort of. Gotta hand it to him, he's a great businessman. But also as retroblasting says it's predatory business practice
True good point G , he should of just said if they reach over 3 million not just keep saying the "goal" lol the campaign goal was 100k but that I included almost nothing 🤣
The first thing i thought was WHY does this need to be crowd funded? It could have been a "deluxe" retail release with standard box or mcfarlane store release with the fancy box.
And if you look at the first campaign he changed the base design after the campaign ended, the figure went from a neutral torso to his signature leaning torso instead with no articulation. To prove it's the same figure as the mass-produced ones we see everywhere you can actually pop and swap parts from those first KS figures and the regular spawn figures lol
So am I the only one who noticed the individual figures went up by like $20 each from last time even BEFORE shipping? I wanted this, waited for it for like *forever*, and now that it"s finally here...I feel like I'd be a sucker to support this now. I may still BUT I'm gonna feel dirty for a while 😆 😢😅
I backed the first kickstarter of his..and there was so many lies with that that i refused to just click buy..and then when i seen the 25 buck shipping it just solitified that big nope 😂
Idk whether McFarlane Toys should be counted as one of the biggest toymaker companies in the world. I saw the list from 2023 where they were being ranked by their revenue from 2022 and "Todd Toys" barely managed to get inside the Top 20. Plus, there was a MASSIVE difference (in the ballpark of a billion Bucks or so) between companies that placed like #18 and #10. You, guys, should not forget that there exist toymakers that do not produce any action figures (and action figure compatible toys) and absolutely anything for teenaged and adult collectors (well, unless you like to collect plushies or baby dolls 🙂, among others). One of such companies is the MGA Entertainment and they are like the #5 in the world. In comparison, McFarlane's AVG yearly revenue is like in 'single-digit' percentages of MGA's and the latter company has more than ten times more employees.
So he releases this as a deluxe and you get the figure, sword, shield and the comic for $58. Or he crowdfunds it and you pay the same, but could also get some free stuff if others also buy. Isn't that what crowd funding is for? What $58 dollar figure comes with everything that he showed? I don't plan on getting this but I just don't see the problem with it.
The figure cost $80 if you add in shipping. I own a Figma figure around the same price and it has more accessories with the weapons even able to combine and even better articulation likely. In comparison, McFarlane's only fair points is having a comic and magnets but that is about it.
@@miragebangbravern The shipping is going to be 20 dollars? As far as what you are going to get.. you don't know till the end of the kickstarter. Didn't his first one almost hit 3.5 mil. He set this one so you get all the stuff if it hits 3.5mil. So if you buy it at $58 plus the $20 shipping and tax. What $90 so figure, shiled, sword, comic, collectors box and 14+ items... idk seems kinda good.
@@retroransom9861 Yes it is true, it's for tbings that aren't usually able to be made with capitol funds or have broad appeal. Not for weapon accessories on roadly popular products.
These crowd funder companies are missing out on a great opportunity: big video game bosses. Those huge epic encounters are worthy of the heftier price tag, with plenty of accessories included.
it's really sad these companies will get away with crap like this. they seem to be upping the ante on how little they can do and still make millions. I think it'll get worse before it gets better
I heard about the Kickstarter, but didn’t know about the specifics. This is a great and enlightening video. You did the hard work to give me a easy to understand summary.
You're right that he shouldn't need to crowdfund this, considering how large the company is. You are also correct that he poorly worded things, particularly in those videos. He, clearly, did not plan out the updates well; however, a lot of people's issues arise from not properly comprehending the description in the "campaign" section, or just not reading the text at all and simply looking at the pictures. A lot of people also seemed to have failed to read the "FAQ" section. Regardless of the images and the videos, the initial campaign said backers could unlock UP TO 14 free accessories if goalS are met. There is more indication of there being multiple goals through the text in the campaign sections, as opposed to him using singular "goal" in the video. There is a section in the campaign that states what exactly we get in box if funding eas achieveved, and it stated that only the figure, the round shield, and regular shield were included. It never stated that the sheath, or anything else eas includes, despite the sheath being shown in some of photos. So, again, it just poor reading comprehension, or lack of reading at all in the first. The image of containing all the POSSIBLE accessories had the three "exclusive heads" as unlockables too. I do agree that there was some definite poor wording, and maybe even a little deception to captivate backers that are not so detailed-orientated when it comes to reading. I also think that hands and sheathbare crappy first unlockables. The Campaign could have been run a lot better, but I think Todd McFarlane has poor communication skills, or is one of the arrogant types that assumes everyone should just understand what says/writes. So far though, I am satisfied with what has unlocked for the price. I just wanted the spartan helmet, large shield, small axe, large axe, chest plates, and the soft helmet. So far, we got the sheathe, hands, collar, spartan helmet, small axe, one gauntlet, and the large shield. Good enough for me, though I am pretty sure ll accessories will be unlocked.
Don’t get me wrong I love spawn one of my favorites since I was a kid. The action figures I just don’t bother with them I bought one since I started collecting a few years ago nope never again. It kept falling over even with the stand and just not a fan of the articulation same with the dc multiverse stuff. I’ll just save up an spend more to get my dc stuff from mafex or sh figuarts company’s like that. They even have their issues sometimes but at least it’s pretty straightforward with those company’s there is no you possibly might get this with the figure.
I understand people being tired of companies taking advantage of them but, dude clearly said possibly. I peeped it as soon as he said it. Don't get it twisted this tier system is TRASH!!!!!!! But no lies or misleading here. $60 is definitely overpriced. That is b.s.

The problem with the "life is short why not" attitude in regards to these toy companies (or indeed any manufacturer) is as long as you continue to pay them for the bs, you continue to get the same bs again and again. I don't condemn anyone for it, but we all need to realize that unless we support (or not) things with our wallets not just our mouths or words, nothing changes. Sad but unfortunately very true.
@antg609
Damn 250k for breadcrumbs- 😂
@@TheBloodGamePL exactly. I commented on here somewhere with the price breakdown. All in it’s not a ripoff. We would obviously be getting all the accessories, the packaging and shipping are what makes it expensive. $58 for a deluxe figure with like 20 accessories isn’t too bad. I think he made the mistake of revealing all the accessories ahead of time for the people that don’t realize they’ll all be included, makes the unlocks seem lame. He just needs to say next video “you’re getting all of it and there’s no more unlocks”
I'm calling this the insane clown pose figure bc of the magnets. Lol.
This is why I avoid crowd funding.
And here I was scratching my head thinking why are people getting excited about this. I am glad you are calling this out.
Because Macfarleen fans are like Apple cult. Any logic or critical thinking goes out of window
I was so hoping you to call him out on this...and you did not let me down man!
I was going to back this for some reason but as soon as I saw that price tag I came to my senses
hey guys just remember a little company called NECA... who made the Prey movie Predator with all sorts of accessories... and Magnets...
To be fair Neca sells shoeboxes for 300 plus
And neca also has had some pretty horrible QC problems in the past and still does at times
@chaos_vision2276 I've never had any major QC issues, and I've been collecting Neca for 20 years.
Thank you so much for once again speaking truth to power in this hobby!!!
Thank you.❤
Thanks for watching and if they hit their 3.5 million goal it's all included so you can still get it at the end of it makes it you get everything.
So glad someone speaks out like you. Speaking common sense, facts and thuth. Very rare in the toy community.
🙏🏽 thank you
🤣 webbing tiers is hilarious good point lol
Dude you had me with those small hands 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
(exept for hasbro, their kickstarters are so bad that they actually fail sometimes)
For example, if on the first day the total amount of funds raised was 50k , then he might start "unlocking" accessories after at 75k and 100k etc. instead of 250k and 500k.
Thanks for shedding light on the bs.
Yea most don't see it as bs tho they see it as something amazing and to be grateful for lol
Edit
It's bad ass. It's a dream figure and medieval Spawn was my very first Spawn figure in the mid 90's. It's the coolest and most detailed figure he has ever done
It's got 32 points of articulation and it's not a regular release.
It's fully funded tho, like about 3 times the amount.
He should give us a free third figure cause it’s funded 3x over possibly 4-5 times over lol by the end.
I believe so I'm pretty sure he said in an interview that does Include the "armor" being able to move lol
Lol
🤣 right he made Hasbro look good
This proves FOMO is a real thing ninja.
Man you said it I’m glad you said there are dudes that when their feeling are hurt lash out try to silence you
FIRST thanks for calling him out Ninja! He knows the word statue kills his sales so he tries to make it seem like they are UNactionED Figured LOL he introduces confusion on PURPOSE to sell more! Todd Daddy has surpassed the master LOL ..he is a SLICK __________ lol
Ed wassup I hope all is well and I gotta say that pre posed figure logic makes so much sense your right ofcourse the same guy would be suspicious with wording lol
The sheath part was funny. The best part is if not everything is unlocked you can cancel before the campaign is over.
If it does end up with all accessories, at $58, its still ok. But $44 to ship to where I am? Hell No.
Appreciate you pointing all this out. I had a busy week and couldn’t understand all of these tiers and fine print
BTW that old horse you showed, that's my design as well. I designed the Full Dark Ages Medieval Spawn line back in 2001.
Just totally crazy! Thank you for getting the word out on this!
Bruh, I had this playing in the background as I organized my comics and literally had to look further into this situation.
So awesome it's amazing go buy it (even though I didn't) you definitely need this one in your collection 😂 did I do a good job ?
@@ArticulatedNinja 😂😂😂😂
@@ArticulatedNinja forgot to add this but we're not only paying for the figure we're also paying for those specific content creators to get it for free too.
He definitely deceptive.
I still do not understand why companies have to crowdfund. This is their business; they don’t need any support.
😂 facts
Magnets how do they work?
I learned my lesson after his first Kickstarter. This one looks even worse.
Keep in mind he promised a real metal sword after the first kickstarter happened.
Yea UA I saw ya comments on his page I just didn't wanna get into that being that it really had to do with the first campaign not a promise he made on this one. But as I stated he could have included here but nope.
@@ArticulatedNinja the metal sword he mentioned was for when he did the medevil spawn.
He said they’re free, right after saying “we crossed $250,000…”
🤣
I'm selling my mafex Spider-Man for 100,000. It has magnetic feet.
🤣🤣😂😂
Man this doesn't even look like Spawn either. Dont forget that if you got a certain color figure you might not get certain accessories shown.
Very true lol 😂
I read that part, if you get the unpainted Spawn, there is no accessories
Ninja you Sir are my Hero! Thank you for exposing AGAIN another BS attempt by Millionaires trying to take the "crumbs" left in our wallets when we only have scraps left from spending so much on our passionate hobby. Personally I have about ALL of his initial OG Spawn characters and offshoots with many still on cards. I don't need MORE of his creation. ALL of my OG Spawn figs are sitting in plastic totes stored away. I Don't even display these anymore. So I don't give a rip what he makes on this line let alone fall for his Crowd Fund BS> Honestly? These Billion Dollar companies don't need a penny from us. Make the SHIT and put it in a shelf at a STORE! You have tons of buildings all oer the country and world for that mater just waiting for your SHIT to sit on it before it goes to OLLIE's and Ross. IN fact....I'm posting all my Spawn stuff to "TRY" to unload 'cause i really don't think anyone wants that either. If anyone does want the OG crap let me know. I'll make ya a deal. Ninja my man I LOVE your content. Keep it up My friend.
He's smart. It's just like taking candy from an Adult baby.
Well they are adult babies because they are all on the spectrum, only people that buy doll’s
McFarlane clears up the "reward" system he is using at 19:05 in an interview with Kevin from Toying Around. It's all baked in.
What do you mean "just got ripped off", you all have been getting ripped off for years 😂
YOOO THATS ME IM JAKE 😭 dude I can’t believe I’m im you’re UA-cam video this is awesome I backed the blue ver and as soon as I saw the things we unlocked I was pissed and I kept getting attacked by a bunch of dudes saying I should be grateful I was mind blown at how dumb all these mcfarlane fans were
Ayyyeee jake wassup man , I feel for you man I can imagine the McFarland's didn't like you questioning much, but you was really logical and reasonable.
@@ArticulatedNinja much appreciated 🙏
Couldn't have said it any better man..... I agree with your statements 100% !!!!!
Thank you braggzi
It's logic folks...whatever though i want Sofubi, action figures are mid. Lawl. (=
A third party company needs to do an hyper articulated spawn with wired cape and sell it for 40$ shipped
Facts they could 2 lol
Todd would sue them if cease and desists didnt work
I love how little effort he put into the kickstarter videos
man, sucks hearing this. just another reason why i believe Japanese action figures are superior. American toy companies are always so scummy and cheap.
Japanese figures are quite the same tbh, or did you not see the 100 price tag for SH figuarts 2099 spidey?
O just wish the Japanese figures weren't so small.
Gotta admit, I have 0 issues with it and I'm excited to get my blue version. Kinda feels like people just wanna complain about something. Like either back it or don't.
@@CodyStuber I hear you life's short enjoy it
If you back it can you talk about why you did ?
And if you don't back it can you speak about why you didn't ?
That's all I see most people doing speaking about the "why" though it seems most people have this notion back or stay quiet.
'Criminal Genius' is a phrase that is woefully underused nowadays
🤣
If we don't get all the accessories I'm out
I here what you putting out bro I got all 3 I had to sell a ps4 to put my name in it being a big spawn fan I still here you and you right
Thank you for being reasonable I am also a big fan of spawn but I can admit bs when I see it regardless of nostalgia or how much I like a character 😂
True good point G , he should of just said if they reach over 3 million not just keep saying the "goal" lol the campaign goal was 100k but that I included almost nothing 🤣
thank god I don't fuck with mcfarlane toys like that.
Very true I liked the first one until he started making it all pre posed lol
So am I the only one who noticed the individual figures went up by like $20 each from last time even BEFORE shipping? I wanted this, waited for it for like *forever*, and now that it"s finally here...I feel like I'd be a sucker to support this now. I may still BUT I'm gonna feel dirty for a while 😆 😢😅
I backed the first kickstarter of his..and there was so many lies with that that i refused to just click buy..and then when i seen the 25 buck shipping it just solitified that big nope 😂
🤣 I feel the same
most people are stupid
😂 I've come to realize a similar conclusion
I was excited for this figure, I’ve never had a spawn figure before, he’s one of my fav comic book characters, great video, a lot of valid points
Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏🏽
No, crowd funding is for rare/unpopular items that aren't likely to ever be produced any other way. Not to get extra axes.
@@danielcraig9666 Thats not true. People use it for all kinds of stuff. If you only use it for rare/unpopular stuff thats cool.
@@retroransom9861 Yes it is true, it's for tbings that aren't usually able to be made with capitol funds or have broad appeal. Not for weapon accessories on roadly popular products.
I've never seen anyone so exited about.....magnets. And he even demonstes how magnets work.
Todd McFarlane is probably angry that people don't like the Phygital Figures.
These crowd funder companies are missing out on a great opportunity: big video game bosses. Those huge epic encounters are worthy of the heftier price tag, with plenty of accessories included.
You just Saved my Wallet 🤣🤣🤣 I was about to back this campaign, now it’s a definitely NO !!! Thanks Brother 🫡🫡🫡
Life's short get it if it will make you happy bro but people defending this is crazy 🤣 this shouldn't even be a thing in regards to crowdfunding
it's really sad these companies will get away with crap like this. they seem to be upping the ante on how little they can do and still make millions. I think it'll get worse before it gets better
I heard about the Kickstarter, but didn’t know about the specifics.
This is a great and enlightening video.
You did the hard work to give me a easy to understand summary.
🙏🏽 thank you ramen keep those great products coming
That's why fell very shady . So I did not fund it.
Yes I hope all is unlocked for those backing this project
This is bull like at least a wire cape like the fuck?!
Hey brotha and ninja clan much love but wow im glad you broke this down i was really disappointed he didnt do the kickstarter for the movie instead smh and the part that had me rolling was the "magnets" 😂😂😂 but for real much appreciated on this break down in all your contents stay bless 💪☝🙏
Looks like Todd took a page out of Hasbros playbook for this one. Wow
I would have never bought or supported this, but this and Haslab is ridiculous. Just charge $100 give everything and make a few diecast pieces.
No one wins but sometimes it's better to lose the battle to win the war.
@@JT-hp3cb I agree and I don't support what I speak out against , but how would I look with a platform telling people what to do ? Lol so hey man I just tell others life's short do what you feel is best but here's what I'm doing and my feelings towards it , but yea you are right for sure.
Yeah by supporting stuff like that (big company kickstarter in particular) you just end up making the hobby worse off after the companies keep taking more and more from releases to hook in suckers
I stopped buying McFarlane like 2years ago. 🤷🏽♂️ Its too many 3rd party companies actually giving us what we actually want. McFarlane makes what he likes not what we want.
Looks expensive and unnecessary for crowdfunding to me, but doesn't matter because 7k other people are good with it. and If anyone feels cheated, they can cancel their pledge before the campaign is done
Tbh, it doesn't look that expensive, you can find better sculpting on Godzia figures. It maybe looks expensive in comparison to Macfarleen usual low effort budget toys
Damn it Todd ... Damn it, he sounds like he's selling the engine of vengeance 😅
10 million more and they include the box
That is so so so messed up. "Possibly."
P.S. I want DC to go back to mattel.
