Josh, if you want a true gator trout (28 inches plus) you need to fish the Mosquito Lagoon...only throw loud rattling topwater walking baits like a skitterwalk, super spook, etc. Fish the dropoffs adjacent to grass flats where the depth goes from about a foot deep to 3-5 ft deep. You probably won't be able to make a show out of it, but rest assured if you make enough casts you'll eventually connect with a seatrout that'll make you think you hooked into a bull red or upper slot snook.
love ur vids bro.. quality stuff.. it just cracks me up listening to u always telling the other guides or charter boat captains how to reel in their fish!! lmao
Heck yeah Blacktip fishing in waders. Put him on a boat, beach, pier, ice, kayak or anything else and he'll catch some sweet fish. Dude caught a big mac, ask him nice and he'll catch a burrito from Chipotle and some soft serve. Josh what size Stradic do you have? Thanks for the sweet videos.
loved this video....you seemed so relaxed and having a great time....thanks for sharing....would love to wade fish the indian river....getting ready to try some new lures on some Tn Rainbow trout after lunch today.....great video man....
The double pump does work but i have had days where they just want a steady reel and hit it on a move so i always try both to zero in on what they want
I've been fishing for years and can never find the right jigs or lures for snook and red fish what do you recommend for plastics or lures to catch these fish?
Love your videos Josh !!! Watching from Houston Texas I'm dying to come out to Florida to try yas fishing for the first time where do you recommend to try first ?? Mainly bay fishing, hope you can reply man ! Thanks big fan
BigAL I lived in Texas my whole life and from my experience of living in Florida for the last 4 years now. bay fishing is almost identical except the bays are not as marshy there's mangroves and the water is clearer. There are more snook here but even in south Texas where I'm originally from there's a decent population of snook. You won't be disappointed that's for sure as far as fishing and sceneries.
That was a burr fish not a puffer...do not put anything in their mouth! Crazy bite strength for their size! I caught one twice that size from the beach back in September
Wow! A fishing UA-cam channel that actually says what they are gonna do in the title!!

Great video. We tournament bass guys always say we "Play" with the fish once we have it in the boat. Nice job, beautiful day, and a terrific video.

That sounds like a blast! I really want to catch a gator.
Was just there last week. Got a 27" trout! Hook popped off when I grabbed him. Really hard to keep them on the hook.
The pufferfish catch was hilarious bahaha

Love your inshore vids!!!
GREAT LOVE IT..........THINK I KNOW THAT SPOT......
I'm heading down to Southeast Florida this weekend to try and catch blacktips. Do you have any last minute advice?
Actually love his vids
Josh can you do a challenge video? If so, can you try to catch a behemoth flatfish I saw once? It was like 10 ft. long near Sarosta.
From Sierra Leone
I've been fishing for years and can never find the right jigs or lures for snook and red fish what do you recommend for plastics or lures to catch these fish?
i live near by , ever have trouble finding a place to park right there?? nice fish guys!!
Lol cute little baby jack blacktiph
Yes
i never lose fish because i never catch any
Same bro 😭
dude that guy reminds me of Eric hataja so much especially when he was explaining him self
love the vids keep up the great work 👍
Josh you have so many people losing your fish lately lmao
im going to the keys in may, who would be the best captain to go fishing with that you know? goal is bottom like groupers yellow tails etc
Anyone notice josh changed just a little bit after meeting the googan squad cool vid by the way
I been all over the Indian River and Sebastian Inlet
What type of Pound line did you use for the speckled trout so the don't cut the line.
Awesome video
Great video as always, but damn... you should be on the next Morton box since you're so salty about one lost fish
Camera quality is insane
what kind of bait would you recommend for redfish(P.S. your videos have been a huge inspiration to me and I've learned a ton)
Redfish are not very picking. Cut ladyfish and mullet are two of the best baits.
When you were like should i put my finger in it's mouth i was like oh no pls don't, cuz that'll bite it right off
you guys waded past my dock.. Lol
Love it!
Nice Video, but you need to stop calling every slot trout a "gator" at least 25"+ for that title.
Nice snook
"I wanna give him a Tom Brady and throw him down" lmao
Now you have to fish for wade wow
What time of day did you catch that snook? Awesome day
BlacktipH ,as usual, what rods and reels did you two use in total?
Love your videos josh if your ever looking for another angler to fish with for big reds and snook please look me up
You should do a collaboration with zofinger!
The title should have been I almost lost my thumb by a dangerous puffer fish
I'm always uneasy in saltwater. I'm afraid a big bullshark would cut me down at the knees!
amazing videos
Josh is such a little baby about loosing that trout.
no he not..................i smash and break my gear everytime i lose a big fish.......real smart....LOVE IT
You got really lucky not grab that pufferfish!🐡
What is your favorite lure.
Amberjacks don't show up around NJ do they?
Do the overhead power lines attract fish electromagnetically or something like that ?
Is ur username the related to the archery website or casting as in fishing
Is that boat supposed to be hanging in the air off that pontoon ?
What size jighead and was that a swimming fluke?
Damn I couldn't find a slot snook this season. Hopefully in may
Love your videos Josh !!! Watching from Houston Texas I'm dying to come out to Florida to try yas fishing for the first time where do you recommend to try first ?? Mainly bay fishing, hope you can reply man ! Thanks big fan
