So Rich for what it's worth I feel that the summers hot water and lack of oxygen pushes the bigger fish deeper and in more moving water. From the Stuart Bridge piling on the outgoing to the inlet any of the deeper moving water seems to be the gig for the bigs. I use as big a bait as I can catch and up my gear for the moving water and bigger baits. Give it a shot. All the deep cuts in the bend just above the inlet on the outgoing are usually 🔥 Camera work on catching that Snook eat was awesome!!! Caught myself yelling at the screen "He ate it!!!" Lol
Going into this time of year on the Treasure Coast I think Dave has the right idea. The deeper channels and fastest moving water will have the best fish. I used that same launch to hit the north side of the inlet last summer and it was 🔥.
@@lookin4lunkersfishing We used to fish the Manatee pocket at night and catch a bunch of Pigfish and Look downs the bigger the better. I caught my PB Snook on what alot of people would be stoked to catch. Lookdown that was like a dinner plate
I always love to see the Indian River I have fished so many times from north of Titusville to Stuart back in the 60's and 70's makes me want to take a trip back to where I was born and raised.
Great comment Ronald! I grew up fishing the Ft. Pierce area in the 80's. I live in North Alabama now and dream of getting back down there to wet a line.
Would love to see some offshore fishing on the fishaholic rig as the calm summer weather moves in soon! I see you do it on your Instagram story sometimes but never see the UA-cam video come out later. let’s see some wahoo and tuna!!!! Haha loved the video so sick.🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Haha that’s so funny I live in florida and think the complete opposite. I’m thinking thank god he stopped posting stripers and bluefish and started posting tropical florida videos😂 I guess we all just want to see what we can’t be doing right now.
Snook have always been rare to me, growing up on the Texas coast, and it always amazes when I see them so prolific. Some day I will go to Florida and catch Peacock Bass and others that seem to be roadside attractions. I’m pretty sure it’s not an original idea, judging by the sheer numbers of anglers in Florida. Thanks Rich!
I'm headed that way next weekend. Just have to watch out for the manatees predawn. .......I've got a buddy that hates going there for that very reason.
the honest truth is I have so much fun fishing on little boats like that by the docks. It's just more entertaining all you need is a waterproof radio food drinks no alcohol. Lol. It's just very fun I give you props for that great job thank you cuz I don't know how to fish docks. I do strictly offshore but when the weather is bad you could still go fishing I can't cuz I don't want to destroy my back. Video great job
Just crazy the knowledge I have is insane around all of That area and I see you coming by and making videos on the same stuff and also some things you don’t know weather the presentation or leader . It all makes a difference in that area and your hook up rate would be way greater . You just make me want to take my kayak out and spread the knowledge as well . Keep it up !
I use a small 5lb scuba weight on a piece of clothes line for an anchor more than enough strength to hold the kayak in most cases allows you to stop quietly quickly and anywhere
Hi Rich, I really applaud you on how you keep so positive even when fishing is a grind - way to go!!! I have a question though. I see that you’re using live bait more often now and less lures. Since it’s warming up wouldn’t the snook be even more receptive of a plug, jig etc? I live in Palm City and caught my biggest snook last May and June under a bridge tossing bucktails at the shadow lines.
Nice Fishaholic. Keep up the amazing content. Nice mangrove and snook. I’m going to the Everglades city and it’s an amazing place to catch snook, trout, reds, tarpon, and a bunch of grouper. You should do a video about fishing in the Everglades.
Love watching these Florida fishing videos!! Keep it up man, teaching me a lot about these waters. I also just started to fish Indian River near Titusville. Keep up the great content!
I would love to go to the Indian river to catch some mangoes, black drum and sheepshead, but I don't even know where to go. It's such a big area to fish that I don't even know where to start
Hi Rich, Just curious why you are using more bait recently. Aren’t snook more active now with the warmer water and more likely to hit plugs and bucktails?
I just finished a very rugged season here at Jensen Beach. The winds were brutal and the bites were rare for me. I had some luck at JayCee Park and near the House of Refuge, but otherwise puffers and cats were the best I could do. Do you hire out? 😂
Noticed when you hooking The Bait fish you hook it sideways through the mouth is that a better way of doing it I've never noticed if you've done it before
I can't remember if iv seen much content of you fishing the golf side of Florida and if you did it isn't often. Is there a reason for that? Thanks. Cheers.
I think its always important to show the tough days. Your tough days are still better then my tough days but it shows everyone that some times its a grind and you have to work at it. Any content creator can only post the good times and make it look easy but the truly great ones show their struggle and show the grind. To me thats what sets you apart from others and puts you above others. Keep up all your hard work!

I agree also

I really appreciate watching you when fishing's tough sometimes . Grind it out ! Good job
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in your family rich!

Nice Ronald, happy to help with some of that nostalgia from the old days! Tight Lines!!

@@justinburkhardt530 I’m in Sarasota I head down to the keys every few months for offshore fishing. The snapper and grouper gets boring
Cant wait for some long island bass and blue fishing , when you finally head back to long island
I was gonna ask the same thing.
Hes getting to comfortable in Florida. Hahaaahaha. He needs the churning tides of the inlet and occasional rogue wave.
Haha that’s so funny I live in florida and think the complete opposite. I’m thinking thank god he stopped posting stripers and bluefish and started posting tropical florida videos😂 I guess we all just want to see what we can’t be doing right now.

I miss when you don't show catching live bait; it is very satisfying to watch you do it.
I live in the Vero Beach and Ft Pierce area, if you want an awesome spot to launch and fish try Round Island State Park! Great mangrove fishing
I'm headed that way next weekend. Just have to watch out for the manatees predawn. .......I've got a buddy that hates going there for that very reason.

Hello my friend!! Always watching your videos! hopefully one day you can come to Nicaragua for fishing, we have nice spots for kayaking fishing
Great video glad you posted keep them coming thanks
Fishing from sailfish point to the house of refuge. That was the Walgreens hose on the corner. Hood place for pomp on an incoming tide.
Excellent video!
Florida fishing is not as easy as people think!!
This new video was a blast, I really love your vids
bagging wild snook , great catching
I use a small 5lb scuba weight on a piece of clothes line for an anchor more than enough strength to hold the kayak in most cases allows you to stop quietly quickly and anywhere
That was one healthy snook
I really enjoyed watching this video. It was a learning experience for me. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
love seeing you fish my home waters
Sick video of the snook taking that bait
Not a lot of fish today but any time on the water is a great day
awesome footage Rich any day on the Indian river is a great day catching or not !!
lol “imma try tying off right here “ 😂
Thanks again...way cool. Could get a light...and throw a Zara-Spook. Casts a mile...so they can't hear you.
Some great adventures with some great fishing content! Love the video, keep up the great work. Fish on 🎣

Where on the indian River is this spot?
You can actually pretty easily snag mullet similarly to how you get bunker up north. They are not easy to get in a net when in smaller schools

All those long docks and such shallow water, if there i would be out further away looking for deeper in a kayak
Always a banger. 💣
that house on the corner at 8:16 is owned by the guy who owns Walgreens, great fishing right there, Cheers
I’ve been getting good seatrout there in Titusville lots of stalls but some bigger ones
Great grind Rich…I’m headed to SW FL soon!
Man i love your videography
Süper süper video 👍🎣👌
What part of the IRL was that? Water looked a lot cleaner than where I am.
That pedal squeak would drive me nuts
Love watching these Florida fishing videos!! Keep it up man, teaching me a lot about these waters. I also just started to fish Indian River near Titusville. Keep up the great content!
Thanks Vinmaxx, really glad to hear! I’ll try my best to keep the content fresh and consistent! Tight Lines 🤙🏻
CHYEAH BUDDY ✌ ✌ ✌
In this episode where was this? My husband just want to take our kayaks there the water was beautiful

Hy, Rich when you planning to come up North to Jersey, CT and Mass.
Hi Rich,
Just curious why you are using more bait recently. Aren’t snook more active now with the warmer water and more likely to hit plugs and bucktails?
I was just wade fishing from your launch spot the other day, haha
Hey rich, Love the videos! I was wondering when your planning to come back up to montauk?
Dude you're in my neighborhood!! I hope to see you around sometime, really enjoy the vids! I get big jacks on that point to the left regularly.
I just finished a very rugged season here at Jensen Beach. The winds were brutal and the bites were rare for me. I had some luck at JayCee Park and near the House of Refuge, but otherwise puffers and cats were the best I could do. Do you hire out? 😂
Would think that the striped bass are starting to bite in New York. You're not going back?
Where is your boat? Did you sell it? When are you headed north again? Most snowbirds leave April 1 or May 1 😂
#Ku`e good job
Welcome to Thailand
Remember they shrink when you put them in the cooler especially mangroves and a 10 inch mangrove has about two chicken nuggets worth of meat
Nice video
Always wanted to fish there
Noticed when you hooking The Bait fish you hook it sideways through the mouth is that a better way of doing it I've never noticed if you've done it before
Where are you fishing where the Indian river is so clear?
I can't remember if iv seen much content of you fishing the golf side of Florida and if you did it isn't often. Is there a reason for that? Thanks. Cheers.

I saw a dude in a green cayak by the wabasso Bridge. Was that you ?
Where at on the Indian river?
Try wabasso causeway in near sebastian
Do you fish there? I never had much luck there
What kind of Kayak you use in the video?
When are you heading North?
Should have put a Kytek or other lure on probably more fish
♥
First baby
Water too clear for artificials?
When ur coming back to NY
swivel.. bobber.. split shot.. i thought you were gonna hook up a live earth worm next.
Do you have a house down there?
Anyone else wonder how he steers the kayak while pedaling
He used the rudder handle
Plan on any striper trips soon??
You should invite subscribers once in a while to fish with you in kayaks. What about that idea?
I got a kayak
Cast net weight
Dudes lame keep small jacks lol 😂 what a crab
Can't catch a break? Really?
stop using live bait
