Tinman, my first chainsaw that I worked on was a McCulloch Pro Mac 10-10, and I watched 1 video then rebuilt the carb. Kinda easy, the last owner ran it without the air cleaner in place so the cylinder and piston are damaged, rings are damaged and stuck so no compression. I'll get replacement parts and restore it with my son. Thanks for taking us with you on your journey. Be safe.
Your content is great brother. My pro Mac 60 like a champ after I bought it from a guy who had it sitting for 4 years. I barely did anything to it and she pulls. Can’t wait to see how that thing cuts with the full tinman treatment!
I can see the gears turning and the sparks flying can't wait to see where this goes! Always interesting when you get thrown a curve ball, great video Tinman 👍 keep up the hard work 👍👍💪💪😁!
I have a pro mac 700 that is a good runner in stock form. I resurrected a CP-70 with the pull start on the clutch side. It was an awesome runner with just a mild port cleanup. Good luck with it!

I’m getting my first 266se in trade for a custom ice fishing sled. I’m super excited. The saw is in fantastic shape! Thought of you immediately when I was offered the saw. Great video as always, tinman.
Looking forward to further sp70 vids. I just bought a cherry sp70 but the tear down looks similar to the job I have ahead on my sp81. Thanks for the vid and just subscribed!
Hey Tinman!! Great video bud, and you’re right about tapping on the screw/bolt heads!! Out here in Ontario everything is rusted on cars so whatever you can do to prevent the bolts from breaking is a bonus!! Take care man!
Aaaaaarrrgghh. Missed by that much. I have a matching 1 of these Macs. Under the cover where the oil is there is a plate that separates the oil from the engine (or it's meant to). The plate is held in place by a thingy under spring tension. I was after a look at that thingy and I was going to reach out to the masses for a name of that thingy. My Mac70 has a secret identity as a smoke blower as the thingy isn't doing it's job right.
hey tinman, great vid! its a great community we are have here. i can learn a lot only by watching your channel, thanks for that, broh! where are you located?
Hey brother I want to donate a saw to ur channel I've never seen this particular brand of saw on any of ur videos and would love to see what u can do with it
Tinman you rock. Please show us your tear down and what to do when/if you just want to clean exhaust port and piston. Check out Billy from philly on Instagram just tore down the XL12 found carbon buildup and slight scoring on the piston. Kindness and love 💪🏻⚡️🪓
So cool you have your hands on an old mac. Looking forward to the build. Keep doing the build videos. They are very informative and cool to watch. 💪
Good video Tinman. Love the way you take your time to show us how to tare down and inspect. Top drawer.

That ole Mac is just plain cool
Seeing your video in my feed just put a huge smile on my face!! Much love Tinman!❤️ (stupid autocorrect said Tubman lol😂)
Don't look to bad at all, nice solid saw!
We’re Canucks in the USA, so we double dip Thanksgiving, one in October, one in November 👍
good vid well done
hi great video. you can take and port that cylinder when you having it apart.
And we're back with the Tinman!!!🤘
hey tinman, great vid! its a great community we are have here. i can learn a lot only by watching your channel, thanks for that, broh! where are you located?
Hey Pilk I'm in Manitoba
I have a McCulloch 710 that needs your attention I’m in Oklahoma United States have you had anyone from The us send you a saw or is that an issue
@@rockinp18 I get saws from the states all the time, it takes a couple weeks but they get here
You got a phone number I can call
Now you have one of those 700 saws they're rippers
Second...mac love🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛
That’s a small exhaust port for sure. So......... just do it you know you wanna LOL!!!
You should give BELLHOPPER MCCULLOUGH chainsaws a shout ,Jeremiah BELL he has lots of MAC parts
Nice, more is better.
I have to put a piston and jug on my XL-12 that I believe is 54cc. Can I get a set from the 58cc HOMELITE saws?
Great job with the videos Tinman !!! What's happening with that Poulan 5200,,,,I'm anxious to see that one ported,,,,
Its on the list, I'm waiting for parts which seems to be the way it goes this year
If you’re going to take it a part might as well port it why not 👍
If you find a piston and rings will you let me know where you find it I need one myself
I’m in the Us and have a McCulloch 710 I would like to get ported is it feasible to get it to you? Or do you have someone to recommend
SAW DOES NOT LOOK TO BAD, SHOULD BE A RUNNER WITH SOME CLEANING
Make it a cannet, the cylinder is lower - the exhaust is wider...
Hey brother I want to donate a saw to ur channel I've never seen this particular brand of saw on any of ur videos and would love to see what u can do with it
Ah, it was supposed to say hey tinman.
