      Most jewelers like to use their gold as peoples could be contaminated for example snapping and splitting because some one else alloyed it ! to change ct ! When he uses his he knows from pure to what ever ct he needs ! He can trust the gold because he does it all !

    If I lived near you, or thereabouts, I would love to take have a bespoke piece of work from you. Distance, mail order, emails, electronic payments these days are definitely helpful but for something like this I would need personal contact within and during the process. Please don't misunderstand what I am saying, sir. What I'm saying that bespoke and personal contact comes hand in hand and is part of the experience.
    I like that you make something from raw materials to a finished product, as you do, and it surely adds a sense of knowing that the bracelet that you buy is in many respect bespoke. Great video and I can see how talented you are, sir.

    • @YaringPlatero
      @YaringPlatero  6 років тому

      It's my own fabrication from the scrap steel. You can't find it in any jewelry tools supply because I made it from the scrap steel base on what size of Cuban link i'm going to make from. Chain mandrel fabrication is base on is included to my one on one Goldsmithing training.

    Hello. How did you get 171.6 grams
    You stared with 129.3 grams. Making 18k 75 percent pure. =161.6 grams
    129.3 + 32.3 = 161.6 . Thank you

    • @YaringPlatero
      @YaringPlatero  7 років тому

      Supposed to be 171.9 grams of 18k but of course you must consider a little lost in melting. For me a 129.3 + 32.3 = 161.6 wrong. Sorry for I can't answer your question because I have students who are paying their training fees and that is included with what I taught them.

    • @YaringPlatero
      @YaringPlatero  7 років тому +1

      Silver and cooper is the right alloy for yellow gold as you can see in my video presentations. Copper and nickel is also an alloy for white gold making. But, the melting and alloying of yellow or white gold for Cuban link making is not as simple as you watch my video presentations as I am always saying. Many of them who are trying to make a gold cuban link with there own by just watching my video but, the result is gold cracking and turns into pieces.
