You guys somehow were absolutely dialed on the questions but at the same time it was like two kids sitting on either side of the fireplace as grandpa told story's. Very sold pod guys.
Dude we could have been sitting around a campfire and just listened with smiles on our faces! All we needed to hear was “want to hear a deer story?” Uhhh yes Stan yes we do 😂
I hope you two enjoyed hearing those stories as much as i did. Couple of those stories i felt as if i was in the tree with Stan! Killer show fellas! Give me a second folks..
Stans an Illinois legend. He killed the number 2 typical bow kill in Illinois in like 1983. Only behind mel Johnsons buck. Don't know if that buck he killed back then is still standing at number 2 in the state or not.
Congratulations guys, you have had all my favorite hunters on that I watched growing up, this is the best hunting show/podcast, I really wish you guys would film your own hunts I know you guys said you don’t want to, but man I know a lot people would watch you guys hunt, I wouldn’t miss it
Not familiar with Stan Potts but I try to listen to as many old timers as possible for the crave of hearing stories about being in the woods back in the day before trail cameras and navigation apps/smart watches/garmins. When hunting was actually hunting!
Back in the 90's and early 2000's me and my brother got really hardcore into bow hunting. We use to watch all the HS vhs tapes. Stan potts has always been my favorite. Not allot of guys talk about him. You just don't hear much about him anymore. But I've always liked stan. You can tell he hunts from the heart. He really loves it. Todays tv guys are all about like and $$$ at stan is a true pioneer.
I can say even without listening i'm gonna have only one complaint, it's not long enough, could listen to Stan tell hunting stories all day.😃I do realize it's huntin season.
Stan ask greg miller about his alberta hunt in 94 ? We all got caught in a big blizzard on the way back to Minneapolis Got home eventually and got fired as soon as i got back to work, One of the best things that ever happened to me
Some of these guys y’all have on here are just as influential as anyone could be for me. A couple of them I can’t really get behind. What I will say is you guys sure have a good diversity of talent on as guests one way or the other. Stan was one of the best to watch on video and helped light the fire in me when I got started. I’d watch his videos for an hour or two when I was bummed out about my hunting to pump me up and then I’d go back out and try again thinking about the stuff he did in his videos. I sucked so bad but that didn’t matter. It got me started and I sharpened my skills as I went. Him and Uncle Ted and Noel Feather and Dan Fitzgerald were my favorite people to learn from in the old VHS days! Man I miss the damn 90s n 2000s
Biggest buck I ever saw was right by Clinton lake sitting in a fence row as I was working pulling soil samples in November of 2008, almost wonder if he's related to willy.
@HUNTRPOD was kinda what we joked about. The funny thing is when we saw him, we said that was probably stan potts' buck since we knew he lived in the area, lol.
3:34 good news! The hurricans currently in the forecast are not going to effect the northeast at all. But shoo you want to talk about it being dry? Going on 4 weeks dry again at my cabin in PA. Hoping it doesnt decide to rain every day im on vacation there in 13 days.
31:35 i hunt with my crossbow just like stan potts does. Except im never in a blind. Sitting on the ground tucked into natural cover brings something different to the challenge
Ive always liked stan. However i started hunting public in illinois a few years back and alotta the local bowhunters arent very fond of stan. something about the legalizing of crossbows and the decline of the quality of bowhunting on alotta the public grounds there...
One of the greatest story tellers. I could listen to Stan's deer stories all day.
You guys somehow were absolutely dialed on the questions but at the same time it was like two kids sitting on either side of the fireplace as grandpa told story's. Very sold pod guys.

This is why I love stan Potts he comes on tells hunting stories best guest
Like Jared said I could listen to deer stories told by Stan all day.
I hope you two enjoyed hearing those stories as much as i did. Couple of those stories i felt as if i was in the tree with Stan! Killer show fellas! Give me a second folks..
This episode is what I wish the podcast was every time hunting story’s told very well
The legend Stan Potts! I was just asking my brother if he seen any Stan Potts hunts lately, seems like I don’t see him much anymore for some reason
My man is retired
Stans an Illinois legend. He killed the number 2 typical bow kill in Illinois in like 1983. Only behind mel Johnsons buck. Don't know if that buck he killed back then is still standing at number 2 in the state or not.

Appreciate the feedback man! Stan was the epitome of what Midwest deer hunting “was” for a kid growing up in Pennsylvania
Biggest buck I ever saw was right by Clinton lake sitting in a fence row as I was working pulling soil samples in November of 2008, almost wonder if he's related to willy.
Sounds like a Simpson esque power plant lot creating freaks lol
@HUNTRPOD was kinda what we joked about. The funny thing is when we saw him, we said that was probably stan potts' buck since we knew he lived in the area, lol.

🇺🇸😮💨👌🏽🙌🏽

Can’t stand the man. Sorry just my opinion.
A 580 grain arrow at 300 fps, Put a water buffalo in front of me and hes done. I see what you did there!
That’s what my total weight is with lighted nock & broadhead and my Hoyt chronos at 292 fps
@@justinadams159I'm pretty sure the water buffalo part was a dig at chris bee
@@JimBowSlicenot at all he’s been saying that for a long long time but yeah I could see how someone would make the connection
@@jordanhudson5075 I hadn't herd that part of their commercial until 3 or 4 episodes ago. I just seen all the chrisbee stuff just recently.
