Abhinav Bhatt is from Delhi , he is a gem of person like you....and you know what Ben, I have been thinking to install same foot peg since I had watched his vlog in which he installed KTM 390 ADV foot peg in his Xpulse , Now I must I have say got the confident by watching your video and will defiantly go for this on my Himalayan Sleet. Thanks a lot Ben.
Hey Ben, thanks a ton for the suggestion. Just replaced the stock with these footpegs and they are a breeze (I need to change the gear lever angle though) Also, based on your handlebar video, I replaced the stock handle bars with the AOM handle bars and man they are just tooo good. Thanks a ton Ben for your informative videos
Ben, i found your channel a few months ago and absolutely love your outlook and your passion for riding and for owning and riding the himalayan. Unfortunately I, like many people have issues with motion sickness when watching videos where the frame of view jumps around a lot or shakes. Now i know the action fpvs of you riding are very popular and i just have to accept that i can't watch those seconds. I have to flip my phone over and just listen. And that's very enjoyable as well. But if i may ask, in segments like this one, the object or frame of interest isn't changing much. If you would consider either using a tripod mount or, a chest mount, the camera motion would be much less. You are a very energetic fellow and you move your head quite a bit in excitement. Which is awesome to watch but, but not in fpv lol. May i ask why you choose to mostly use a helmet mount instead of a chest mount? I can understand wanting the camera higher to see over the fairing and also having it looking wherever you are so it's easier to narrate. One thing to remember, your eyes are track your vertical motion intuitively and smoothly because they are constantly adjusting their position relative to your head so that you track what you are focused on as accurately as possible. The camera doesn't unless it has some really good motion control capabilities. Yours may. Honestly you may be using awesome gear and this is cleaned up already from your awesome, energetic nature. Just some things i hope you'll consider as it would help me enjoy your videos more.
My my my , that’s a seriously long msg on FPV’S 😁. Thanks for the interest Mark . Means a lot . I honestly don’t possess good understanding on the video making process . From whatever I understood about the subject , I was particular about doing one thing . And that was to make it as REAL as possible for the viewer . So the closer the camera was to my eye , the better I felt in narrating whatever I was doing . Another reason , like you correctly pointed out was to clear the windshield and have a better overview ( I like to see more when I ride , higher view / perspective matters ) . And then lastly the Mike setup , with the GoPro mic adapter and it’s silly dimensions ( pls refer to online sources ) . So yes , don’t think I can improve on the gadgetry because they are the average best 😄 in the market , but will def try and keep my head a little more steady . Also , I do possess a chest mount , but then the windshield comes in the way . So I use it predominantly when I have to work on the bike . Thanks again for the keen interest displayed . Will def work on keeping my super excited head steady 😂. 😊
