Many people seemed to think that the Aiyima A80 does not have a sub out and/or it does not control the subwoofer volume. Here's proof that it does! ua-cam.com/users/shorts8KMCtXNkvAo
@@UTILITARIANTVUK You’re absolutely right. I did miss that in the original video…🤥 I stand corrected and thank you for highlighting the connection to use a subwoofer..
Just looks like another pointless rehash of previous efforts Martin, would love to see them put this unit in a bigger case, build in a high quality power supply, put some high-end op amps in, add some more RCA inputs and sell it for less than the current favourite budget class a/b amps on the market, no reason why they couldn't do this👍
That’s a cool display screen, but it seems the knob was a little scratchy sounding in your video… I think a subwoofer output would’ve been a nice addition to the little amplifier! Happy holidays to you and your family my friend…🎄
"Huge Johnson"🤣 VERY clever! On the subject of the video, that is right up my ally! I love me some VU meters myself! I'm not familiar with Aiyima, though I might have to check it out! It's pretty awesome that they included a sub out. Personally I can do without the Optical input, I'd rather have another rca input for another piece of equipment to hook up to it than an optical. Great video buddy. 👍🏻
Great video as always, thank you. I see it comes with a 48v 5amp power supply……forgive a noob question, but if I hooked up a 48v 10amp supply, would it be capable of higher volume…or doesn’t it work that way?
This amp has an IR receiver on the front, but you didn't mention remote control; does it come with one? It'd be great if it did!! I like the look of it, and it certainly sounds good from your sound test.. 🙂
I am the one in the post you used from audiosciencereview about PFFB 😂 .... Is the aux output controlled by the volume knob in the A80? The A70 has a sub out totally controlled by the volume knob, but the aux output of the A07, for example, doesn't do that, and you need to be pairing the volume of the amp with the volume of the sub manually.

Spectrum Analyzer brings 90's feeling back
They sound the same to me.The vu meters are a nice option.
Thank you for giving it a test with a Sub. It's always a mystery what the Aux port actually does on these types of amps.
Hi marti, what a great multifunctional bit of kit , regards mark

They could be added in the same cases, rather than the useless scenic needles
А зачем? Ведь потерятся весь смысл, задумка. Это компактное устройство дающее нормальный звук. Не hi-fi, но для обычного человека вполне приемлемо.

I hope Aiyima do power amp only version with the new lcd display screens with the diff graphic options!

@@chrisnunya7171 And I prefer normal RCA preouts and not clumzy 3.5 mm jack. Hopefully in A80 pro hhhhh
I would like to see a video of sound test which the aux out of the A80 connected to other power amp. Thank you 👍
I'd like to see this just as a dac/preamp to use with a real amp.
You had me at VU meters butty 😂
Thanks for the review marti , you were just few minutes behind Randy 😁
I know, he got in before me, grrr! 😄
@@UTILITARIANTVUK I enjoy your review better !
@@RanTausi Thanks Man!
What are the recommendations for using the 12v out trigger!
The price is not too bad imo either. Quite a bit of stuff there all in all.

It would play louder as you would be taking it from 102 watts per channel to 150 watts per channel.
Digital VU meters are like going 4 wheel driving in a simulator.
Yeah, not like those real 4 wheel drives with digital speedometers and gauges!
The specs look good, but we don't know how it sounds compared to a class AB amp.
I'm sorry, Hugh G. I prefer B again. LOL. SMSL obviously doesn't translate down the UA-cam wire, hey?
How it sounds compared to fosi za3 and A07max?
It sounds similar in quality one on one but not as good as the A07 max and ZA3 when they're paired in mono.
Is it as good sound as ao7 pro ?
Where can you buy this please
Yes it's as good. Purchase link are in the description.
Nice, but...to many expansive for a china sound. thx for review.

Yes it has a remote.
@@UTILITARIANTVUK : Excellent! Thanks 👍🏻
You can only connect one source, and that's a problem.
If mean single end connections, there's actually two options. RCA to TRS, RCA to RCA.
@@UTILITARIANTVUKi guess you can connect the turntable in the rca and the cd player through coaxial. Is that correct??? Thanks.
@Jil8840 Absolutely!

@robrob3857 dude, i don't understand russian.
No sub out and bass management what an oversight.
The Aux out acts as a sub out with variable volume control.

@@crazyprayingmantis5596 The amps volume does control the the subwoofer.

These CHI-FI amps all seem the same to me, getting a bit boring to be honest.
