- This video shows most of my current WWII DH German Wehrmacht military issued watches. The DH / D.H. marking is generally interpreted as ‘Dienstuhr Heer’ (army service watch), these were (mostly) issued to the land forces of the Wehrmacht - which was the German Army in WWII.
In this video you'll find the following brands: Arsa, Büren, Bulla, BWC, Civitas, Choisi, Cronos, Doxa (steel and chrome), Etanche (many different numbers), Eloga, Edo, Grana, Gala (very low issue numbers!), Glycine, Hado, Helma, Helbros, Helios, Helvetia, Longines, Leonidas, Mimo, Minerva, Moeris, Nisus, Page, Para Bruchsicher 782 S, Phenix, Record Watch Co Genf, Recta, Revue-Sport, Silvana, Stowa, Trilona, Wittnauer, Zenith (both steel and chrome 1518). I have quite a few more that are still with my watchmaker, others I forgot to include, and others I misplaced.
For any questions feel free to comment or reach out to me on Instagram. I've got several other WWII Military watch video's on this channel, be sure to check out my WWII playlist.

What a wonderfull collection, i wish i had the time to start a collection like that! Many thanks for showing them..
Very educational. Amazing collection.
Just fantastic videos for prospective collectors !!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the Straps found on the DH Watches and Especially the KM PIECES !! German Navy Service had to have been particularly harsh on Straps, the wet and damp conditions aboard
A Sub especially. I wonder if they Used Canvas or something like that !!!
very interesting. it has kindled my interest in these watches.
Are radium dials a concern with these watches?
What a wonderful collection you have....where and gow to buy a piece
I recently purchased a Revue Sport in good condition, the lume and numerals look faintly green (not luminescent just the color) however they look as old as the watch. I've looked up other pictures and only seem to find brown/golden numerals and hands. Are this lume and hands and simply aged a bit better or is it impossible for them to look rather greenish than brown after all these years? Would love to hear your knowledge on this as you have a sizeable collection and handled quite a few different ones. All the best Ben
Were election grand prix military watches. Thank you.
tks for sharing nice watches !
I would love to see your active watch collection (the ones you actually wear daily).
You mean of the military, or the non-military? Tbh I mostly wear watches that I’m going to sell, because I know I won’t be able to wear them anymore once sold
@@kabawatch military or not, because you said for a few of them that you dont wear them, i was curious as to what you wear day to day, thats all.
You showed 3 Minerva watches (16:40). What are the movements in those watches? Did Minerva make watches for both sides in the war?
Hello! Do you sell a Watch?
Any sonvix? I can't find any history on the maker or watches made. I have one in original condition with SS markings on front. No DH stamp. SS stamp and eagle stamp on back.still works and is still worn daily.
are any for sale on your website?
Do u have any watches for sale if u don’t mind me asking
just beautiful,i will take these Medium to small MM diameter over the crappy digital, smart watches and other big blingy watches they have today.
Agreed! 36mm watches like these have an understated elegance!
Hello! I have a zenith pocket watch D.H from the 1940 These were made for German soldiers wwII still runing .But I don't know how much it's value?do you know any idea? Thank you!
I have a question: how much should I pay for cheaper more common DH watches in decent condition?
do you have any dh for sale ?
great
does anyone know which is the cheapest original ones?
Hello, I have a watch passed down by my grandfather who took it from a captured German soldier in either the battle of the bulge or the Ruhr pocket. He was an American rifleman in the 99th Infantry division. The watch is near identical to the Stowa but with different hands and marked as the brand Wagner. There is no DH marking. Do you know anything about these watches?
Whoa, what an awesome piece of history with that back story! Wagner is a German brand, and they usually didn’t put any DH markings on their watches (those markings are mostly for Swiss made watches). Wagner made watches for the Wehrmacht (land forces), Luftwaffe (air force), and Kriegsmarine (war navy)
watches since 1943 often do not have DH marking anymore
@kabawatch German land forces (army) is Deutsches Heer hence DH marking. Heer, Luftwaffe, and Kriegsmarine are components of the nazi era Wehrmacht (defense force literally or simply military)
Do you know if ATP watches ever had a black dial? I've seen a Timor with a black dial in an ATP case. Possibly rehoused though.
