How to turn a hydraulic lifter into a solid for checking piston to valve clearance on Ford 302/5.0

How to turn a hydraulic lifter into a solid lifter when checking piston to valve clearance on a 5.0 Foxbody or SN95 mustang. A must when doing a cam swap with aftermarket heads. This works on stud mount rockers as well as factory pedestal rockers. When using pedestal rockers, you MUST use an adjustable pushrod with the solid lifter to get zero lash.
