That was awesome I love the view of Birmingham Alabama this week I’m coming to Birmingham Alabama to hike in the beautiful Park called Ruffner Mountain Park.
Hi Mike I broke my leg in November during a backpacking trip on the PMT just before Thanksgiving. I just started being able to walk again around Easter. But I'm all healed now and back out hiking. I'll be uploading a new video hopefully this week about my PMT hike and how I had to call it quits from the fall I took. Thanks for checking in, it means a lot.
I’m from the general area and I swear Birmingham seems so much bigger in person than it seems on video. I mean it’s like 1/7th the size of the Atlanta metro, but it still seems big in person. Looks like a place of 50,000 people on video when it’s actually like 200,000
Hi Misty. The trail is called the Overlook Trail, you'll see it on the map. It took me maybe 30 minutes of straight walking up to get there from the visitor center/trailhead. Thanks for watching. :)
I used to hike there in the 70’s, looking forward to finally make it back
I love Rufner Mountain!
Thank you for watching :)
That hike is no joke! I did it today! Lol worth it when you get to the top ❤

Did a hike there a few years ago. Pretty cool spot!

Which trails did you take to that has the rock out cropping and can see downtown? We plan to hike there next weekend.
