IMO the faction benefits of "acquired" Legendary Lords should apply in addition to the stuff you start with ... up to a limit of 3 because most factions have 3+ LLs now, but allowing High Elves to keep all of them would be too much. It seems stupid to lose the "knowledge" of how to live in mountains, when Karl Franz is joined by Balthasar Gelt.
There was a mod in TWW1 that added a LL's faction benefits to their unique trait so that you could get all of the different bonuses and benefits. With the sheer volume of LL's that the game two factions, and Vampire Counts, have, they would be unbelievable, and god do I wish someone would make that mod again.
How would your recommend is the best way to make some money and also how would you deal with the fact that you can only recruit from your main settlement
Tomb king: ah crap, more arrow. and for game design, CA is just making new world level lord and put them into old world faction, these lords are significantly stronger than their colleague but still suffer from the lack of the faction, clearly the new elf cavalry is a counterpart to empire's demi-griffin knights, though I highly doubt they can work as the same. yes it does! Apparently, it is one easy way for any faction that has access to the trait to gradually but permanently increase their army wide winds of magic reserve. Also, in general, sister of twilight faction has very strong magic capabilites ( like the trait Ariel's chosen which gives 15 winds of magic but for the army alone, dark magic with "mana batteries", some attack spells that cost only 1 wind of magic when the right is put in the "office", the presence of the Ariel hero etc...) Sorry about the rambling at the end, not that I am complaining since i am currently playing that faction and liking it for that very same reason :) Also, it seems a lot of their spellcaster lords can potentially get the knowledge trait. Play around with them yourself but sure don’t get them wedged on artillery pieces and then charged by monsters or other cav. Have fun when the dlc hits and take care 👍🏼
I think I'm gonna enjoy the Sisters of Twilight as an LL unit.
Just turn off autoshooting and you will be fine with targeting and moving :)
I just beat the vortex campaign. Spear wardancers are my favorite unit.
"nature calls us! ... where's the nearest bush?"
This method doesn’t work anymore, they always settle the ruins, get back to full next turn and camp in the settlement. 10 runs the same every time
Tomb king: ah crap, more arrow. and for game design, CA is just making new world level lord and put them into old world faction, these lords are significantly stronger than their colleague but still suffer from the lack of the faction, clearly the new elf cavalry is a counterpart to empire's demi-griffin knights, though I highly doubt they can work as the same. I would say they did far better on greenskin rework than wood elfs one.
have you done how to beat the wood elves in their forests as clan skryre? I can't for the life of me beat them in athel loren
Just search one of his ME campaigns as Ikit Claw, he usually tends to eliminate them asap.
Well I go the long way....under city and bomb or vermintide them (and after that / send Ikit to clean the mess)....And they are very passive faction and horrible at besieging settlements....So you are pretty safe to just ignore them....
@@leto22cz I wish. Usually when I play Skryre in ME on very hard, the Wood elves conquer all of bretonnia, declare war on me and charge Skavenblight with about 4-5 stacks of elite units.
@@remito7839 That must be pretty late game tho right? I mean never saw that happen around turn 100....other tactic is: save ebough money, use plague rite and use it on Athel Loren....they will take a lot of attrition....Recruit few armies of trash (look on Clan Mors AI army) charge in with intetion to lose with as much casualties on enemy side....And use Ikit to clean the rest....Used this last week, tho I was playing on H/H cos I just wanted a chill campaign for once....
@@leto22cz Actually it happens somewhat quickly. they ususally attack me around the same time as the dwarfs, sometimes even a bit earlier. maybe around turn 60-100
Dark Elves unreliable ? Well Well Well ... someone needs to be enslaved and shown the truth of submitting to the True Heir of Anaerion.
In my campaign as her I found her talon of dawn to be extremely good at lord sniping. I would kill their lord and most of their units before they saw my army, she's definitely pretty great. Stag knights not great though, for sure.
Does the effect of knowledgeable trait last even if you disband the lord?
yes it does! Apparently, it is one easy way for any faction that has access to the trait to gradually but permanently increase their army wide winds of magic reserve.
Also, in general, sister of twilight faction has very strong magic capabilites ( like the trait Ariel's chosen which gives 15 winds of magic but for the army alone, dark magic with "mana batteries", some attack spells that cost only 1 wind of magic when the right is put in the "office", the presence of the Ariel hero etc...)
Sorry about the rambling at the end, not that I am complaining since i am currently playing that faction and liking it for that very same reason :)
Also, it seems a lot of their spellcaster lords can potentially get the knowledge trait. Turn 14 or something, and I got more than 6 of them already ! :O (unless I was really luck, possible, but you do still get a lot of them).
A guide on how to use wood
Is it possible to recruit Ariel in mortal empires?
Ledged might have to do this whole series again for every faction? I think the public order thing messes up his Bretonnia guide. I mean I know these guides are broad strokes because there will be variations of AI behavior in each campaign, but in that guide the revolt timing was important when playing as Couronne.
Dude, you showed me just how bad I am at this game right now lol
Clan Moulder first 20 turns: narrowly manag to eke out victory against vastly superior opponents using every trick in the book and more than a little luck
Sisters of Twilight first 20 turns: bully khatep
"First 20 turn guide" -> "did this stupid plan actually work? no way.. noo waaaay"
ok, now just let me repeat that in my campaign
Clan Moulder when*when????????? I ask becouse very curious yes*yes..
Probably next week.
"beastmen are good" had me rolling
Wait is the twisted and the twilight out yet or is this a review copy?
UA-camrs get early access to make these videos

Heeey, why I don't have even picture of glade captain on tree in my game???
"Welcome to Athel Loren"
fucking finally i can play the dlc i payd for. many thanks from germany, you dirty wallabe
Dunno, having 15-17 hawk riders in every army right now and can't see any resistance from AI to this shit. Seems pretty balanced as I streamroll through every enemy
Chaos has been given new way to expand (darklands), so by any chances is Chaos livestream comming any time soon?
chaos is probably the 2nd worst and most boring incomplete race in the game, he said it himself also i dont think just because there's a new path on a map you're gonna torture yourself with chaos
@@Cheese-qk1ft No I am not gonna torture myself with that. But that's the point, if Legend plays Chaos, I will see him suffer 😈
@@imperialisticvonhabsburg3149 lmao imagine if he replies
Hawk Rider doomstack when?
Legend- Doesn't cycle charge shock cavalry, and sends them in alone
Also Legend- They didn't do amazing. Let's get them out of there. Tier 5 unit. Yeah, like I said, just not the greatest unit ever.
Wow, really an easy mode Lord. Sieging any settlement is gonna be even easier.
well thats good that their easy, everyone knows WE got shat on because skaven
"Welcome to Athel Loren you dumb ass Beastmen shit" XD
