- Jyotsna Padmanabhan has been drawn to rituals from a very early age is now doing all pujas at the Sree Krishna temple as an upasana. Jyotsna's father, the temple's chief priest Padmanabhan Naboothiripad of Tharanellur Thekkiniyedathu Mana has said that there is no proscription at all of women performing rituals in temples. He has nurtured, encouraged and ensured that Jyotsna realizes her deep desire to be in close communion both with the presiding deity - Kali as well as the Sri Chakra installed in the temple.
INDICA's Chief Editor Conversations Aparna Sridhar has been waiting to have meet Jyotsna ji for a long time. She finally caught up with her
in Chennai, where she is pursuing her interest in Sanskritam, Vedanta, Nyaya and Mimamsa from very senior scholars in the field.
With great shraddha and dedication, Jyotsna pursued her Tantric journey, with the lightness of spirt that the worship blesses her with.

To give a very concise note...
1) Vedic rituals are primarily Agni karya like yajnas, homas, which employs vedic chants to propetiate the Devatas. It INVOKES Devatas through Agni.
Vedic worship involves Devatas like Indra, Mitra, Varuna, Vayu.
And every Devata ultimately refer to the ultimate truth, The Brahman.
2) Tantric rituals INVOKE Devatas through a VIGRAHA and employs chants from Agamas, Puranas and itihasas. They worship Visnu, Shiva, Rudra, Kali , Kartikeya, Ganesha etc. ultimately refering to BRAHMAN, the ultimate truth.
3) Tantric rituals employs Mudras and procedures in more or less equal proportions. whereas Vedin rituals are centered around more procedures and less mudras.
4) There are many procedures and mudras and Devatas common to both forms of rituals.
5) Being said that , everything Vedic or Tantric ultimately point to the ultimate truth i.e Brahman, the supreme conciousness.

There are people all over the world learning Tantra and performing various forms of sadhana under difficult conditions, facing many apparent challenges, and I think that hearing of others who are growing in spiritual knowledge and experience with courage and positivity like Ms. Padmanabhan is a good lesson for us all. One should never give in to adversity, and should follow one's love for the deity. The path forward will manifest in whichever way it must.

Beautiful effort by this channel to bring out someone like her. Bengal and Kerala are the rock bed of Tantra Sadhana. The only judgment error you have made is to do this interview in English. Your viewers are missing the deeper context of mantra sandhana, mantra siddhis and Sadhana process that she was trying to explain. English is utterly poor language to explain Tantra. I urge you to redo this somehow in Malayalam. If doing good for society was your goal with this episode. Let us help everyone wake up to the powers of real Devi upasana. Only way to success in Kaliyuga is via Tantra sadhana 🙏

English is a wonderful language to explain Tantra. Malayalam won't help because most Malayalees don't have adequate vocabulary in Sanskrit and don't understand Sanskrit words in Malayalam, for example the word മതം.
@@paulthomas281 English is NOT adequate to explain details of Tantra my friend. And only if you are a Tantra sadhak one can understand that. Regardless, she is wonderful and this is a really nice episode. Let’s focus on her wisdom 🙏
@@AG_KA108 I've been studying Sanskrit for the last 8 years, and I teach Sanskrit as well. And I am also a French and German teacher. All languages are adequate to explain the details of Tantra, including English. Is it just English according to you, or are there other languages that don't do the job?
@paulthomas281 I think he is saying it's inadequate bc for translating any language, and esp sanskrit, you lose out on the linguistic and cultural context and nuance of the words, so for just one word, you may have to say 3+ sentences to convey the meaning properly, and have to have a deeply rooted understanding of both languages and cultures to convey a proper meaning as well....the language may not be inadequate, but the speaker may struggle to express themselves without having robust vocabulary and cultural context of a foreign language 🙏

Vedic ways or methods are Easy, Simple and comfortable way to read God (Moksha) ..and Tantra is the Fastest way possible to reach God, but it comes at a cost. One has to be Perfect in Steps, Uchaara (Pronounciation) and all the Rituals. Its like Driving very fast to reach your destination.
