One thing that I feel nobody is talking about is that Dan Pitcher is definitely going to get HC interviews after this season. His first year as OC and burrow is playing at a MVP level and Chase gets the triple crown. I don’t know if I want him over Zac Taylor per se but I also don’t think I want Taylor without pitcher. 1:00:22
Browns really let us down today. If they play Winston instead of DTR they win. DTR is one of the worst QBs I've ever seen and the browns didn't even use his one good characteristic, his running ability. Browns tanked that game on purpose
you could not be more wrong about BJ Hill. BJ gives so much to the locker room in leadership that has already been lost from losing DJ Reader and Bates that losing him would be devastating. You talk of getting another veteran lol. Like what Sheldon Rankins. Rankins could be great and all who knows point is free agents are an unknown Hill is not. I say cut Rankins Keep Hill and Hilton with that money for your vets. I don't care if Hilton has lost a step the dude balls out non stop. I would take him and Hill over an unknown.
Yo fellas. Great show. Always enjoy the content. One thing I have not heard anyone talk about thus far is the weather for the jets vs dolphins game. Supposed to be low 30's. Dolphins are not good in cold weather. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Good show, you guys hit all the points. Front Office & Coaching holding back a generational talent. We'll see if they fix it. Don't accept the unacceptable.👍
We have to Keep CTB! He had a Rough Start to the Season. But he has Rebounded Well. It's Hard to find Cb's With the Size and Athleticism that Cam Possesses. When we go Up Against Big Receivers like a Dk or A Aj Brown? We going to need him. We got to let Stone Walk. We need to Draft some Speedy Linebackers in the Draft
Great discussion ... especially since you didn't agree on everything It's almost seems like Lou just wanted to play the vets in spite of young talent... almost like he didn't want young talent to have the opportunity to show or develop to be better than the vets. As much as I like Lou, he needs to be replaced for that reason alone. As much as I like Zac, Zac needs to be replaced unless he agrees to immediately give up playcalling to Pitcher and Pitcher may be a better option than Brady as HC. Pitcher along with Joe and the WRs drew up Tee's game winning TD pass 30 min before it was used per NY times article (said play wasn'tin playbook). I don't understand the fascination with Brady as a OC or HC bc doesn't Josh Allen get most or alot of his TDs from broken plays? OC from Buccaneers is cooking and should probably be discussed more as an HC option. And Belichick has a buyout if a NFL team wants to hire him
Bengals drew up game-winning touchdown play in middle of win over Broncos By Will Zimmerman Published Dec. 29, 2024, 2:19 p.m. ET Just like they drew it up. Half an hour prior. The Cincinnati Bengals won Saturday evening’s game against the Denver Broncos in walk-off fashion on a play they drew up during the third quarter, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports. “From my understanding, this, actually, was not in the Bengals playbook - they didn’t have it, they ran out of low red-zone plays,” Rapoport said on NFL Network. “So, in the third quarter, right after the field goal, Dan Pitcher, the [offensive coordinator], Joe Burrow and the receivers got together, drew up this play [and it] ended up resulting in the game-winning touchdown.”
I've said this for the last few years. Yes, that 2022 team was better than the superbowl team in 2021. We got screwed. 3 o line getting hurt did not help neither.
Malik I agree with everything youve said and we don’t give a damn about KC helping us out. If we make it fine if not it’s on us, I have faith when its our time we won’t be depending on nobody but us.🧡🖤🐅
Bro I just watched a short interview with Micah Parsons in it. And he said this time around playing Joe burrow. Joe burrow is completely different than he's ever been, and he's playing better ball than he has ever experience Tim play, he said. It's a completely different person and borrow is out of his mind. He also said that borough should be MVP
I truly don't believe the coaches are losing their jobs this season. I think the defense and the offense, obviously. The offense has shown enough and done enough in this last stretch. To save the coaches, for one more season. I think the Brown family it's gonna look at it like we started out, really terrible. They turned it around, and we were this close. Which will cause then to run it back one more season with the same personnel, and I truly think they will bolster the defense completely? And next season, I think we cook straight out the gate. And we take it to the house.
I 100% agree with Malik's openning comments. No sympathy for the team. Yes, the players I feel for but this COACHING is horrible. Sorry but your record is who you are and it isn't the players fault. I'd rather they miss the playoffs this year, rest your wounded, trade Tee, release the " Chaff" ( the dead weight), get a jump on getting a top tier Head Coach , get a jump on picking up some expirenced Veteran DEFENSIVE Free Agency and drafting some critical defensive building blocks. The Training Camp method needs to be blown up!
1) Need Zim to break down IN DETAIL about selling 10% for a one time payout of $450M vs the cowboys selling 10% for $1Billion... how does that help the Bengals in 3-6 years. All the players contracts should be viable without selling 10% of the team. That's like saying you guys need to sell 10% of your companies to pay a couple employees for a couple years and and then you will be stuck in same situation in a few years. Considering their restraints, Bengals have put together some amazing runs compared to the richest owners like the Browns, Jaquars, Panthers... who will overspend and waste money in an effort to buy a Lombardi which the NFLPA loves because the NFLPA loves banking that escrowed star money and don't care about the other 50 players on each team. Also, NFLPA won't let Burrow take less now (per Dominique) but they let Mahomes take less than Burrow right after Burrow signed So of course, the rich boys club wouldn't like the poorest owners who are having more success when they just want to buy a Lombardi... so who are the actual football owners
2) cam sample was a rotational player and Lou still didn't play Cedric Johnson or Myles Murphy or even Ossai as much as he could have.... so didn't Lou already have alot of rotational options he wasn't trying. As much as I like Lou, it seems like he wasn't giving these rotational guys a chance. Also they brought in Lawrence guy ... so nobody decent could or wanted to be claimed from any practice squad??... which could have had to do with Ja'Marr trying to drag the team in the press so he could get $40M per year. Versus AJ Brown who took $32M before JJettas signed so AJ was highest paid WR for a minute. When asked about Ja'Marr's contract situation AJ was glad to have his teammates... who didn't hold out/in or wait to squeeze the Eagles for the most max max amount. Hurts took $51M and Devonte took $25M and AJ took $32M ... those 3 showed in their contracts that they understood they make each other better instead of pushing for $3-8M more each and AJ and Hurts were both highest paid at signing. Burrow and Ja'Marr chose a very different path from hurts and AJ Brown (who is the best WR in man coverage in 2024)
3) Besides packers, who else opens their books? Packers only open their books because its mandated for publically traded companies. Packers make alot of money each year in land/real estate (per their mandated annual financial report)... but it was probably easier/cheaper to buy up real estate in a more remote place where they are located
4) Family wasn't "handed" the team (unless you are talking about the granddaughters)... when Bengals were created, Paul only owned 10% of Bengals and Mike had already graduated from Harvard law and Mike was the main reason Cincinnati was chosen so Mike was very involved from the beginning. Katie graduated from law school and worked in a law firm downtown before working at the Bengals. The granddaughters are the first generation to appear to be handed job
In 2025 Trey Hendrickson is signed for $21M and plays 60-65% of defensive snaps Maxx Crosby makes $23M, plays 95% of snaps Myles Garrett makes $25M TJ Watt makes $28M, plays 90% of snaps and plays special teams to block kicks, and is highest paid Steelers player Steelers had the most expensive defense in 2024
The refs helped put us in this situation gesicki first game chiefs pass interference call end of game and all the non calls late hits facemask penalties numerous non calls even commentators calling it out
Trey has 3 ppl blocking him half the time he can't do it all!!! due is a super start just need some help not third strings players. come on Trey a moster
I think I blame Katie more than anybody. We know her and her husband do the contract negotiations. She's failed at that spectacularly. They got close with Bates, let him walk. Low balled Higgins and stopped talking to him afterwards. Drug her feet on the Burrow contact and it almost didn't get done. Almost got Chase contact done, but failed at the goal line. Low balled Dj Reader and lost him to the lions. They left Hendrickson unhappy with him being a underpaid superstar. Katie doesn't get the job done
One thing that I feel nobody is talking about is that Dan Pitcher is definitely going to get HC interviews after this season. Man, this team is different in December! PAY TEE HIGGINS
Mike Brown pays himself a 1 million dollar GM bonus every year for the last 30+ years. He’s never gonna give that up
Browns really let us down today. If they play Winston instead of DTR they win. DTR is one of the worst QBs I've ever seen and the browns didn't even use his one good characteristic, his running ability. Browns tanked that game on purpose
Honestly the browns had no intention on helping us let's not kid ourselves.
Yep..Chiefs ain't gonna help either..It's a wrap..no playoffs!!!😢
Lol. Godfather analogy. I once said Duke Tobin is the Tom Hagen of The Family. Adopted son who is part of inner circle. 😂I
The Bengals have to do something about the guards… Ford and Kappa were waving in DTs like they were landing planes
Geno Stone is slooooooooowwwwww. The defense needs an athletic/speed upgrade overall
Zim corleone and Malik Hagen 😂😂😂😂 . Keep going fellas love the shows

As of right now, low 30s for the high in the Jets vs Dolphins. Fins don’t play well in the cold
I wanna see more of Matt Lee. I think he’ll be an asset on the O line
Good show, you guys hit all the points. Front Office & Coaching holding back a generational talent. We'll see if they fix it. Don't accept the unacceptable.👍
Love how the bills, bangles and Baltimore have to constantly shout out that they have the best quarterback.

Yet lou had Josh newton on Sutton I don’t understand why you don’t have him on sutton in my opinion cam could’ve locked him up in the red zone
Great discussion ... especially since you didn't agree on everything

The Bengals Defense....is the best in the bottom half of the AFC North among teams NOT from Cleveland.

I still believe that Jake Browning ends up being traded in a package to Tennessee.
Guessing they’ll give up a 3rd or 4th for him.
We need to get John Lynch from the 49ers!!
Cedric Johnson has a high motor and juice… He needs snaps over Murphy
Why not try to get Myles Garrett? He is wasting his time in Cleveland! Or Max Crosby?

Steelers had the most expensive defense in 2024
Per OTC
Steelers being most expensive defense is from 2024 press articles before the season
I think They lost 3 Games because of missed field goals and another on a missed extra point.
Shysty, Shysty, Shysty💯,(The Boogie- man) #JoeBurrow.👻👻

Zim makes too much sense. Make him GM!
Keep mike gesicki he does a lot of dirty work in the middle to help the others
Shelvin, Trent brown, Erwin already gone.

Do we know that she does the negotiations though?
@terrellwilliams2843 when a player signs with the Bengals, they list the agents that negotiated it and the person for the Bengals that negotiated
