I replaced the cabin filter on a 2017 Nissan Juke. You don't need to remove the glove box or anything else to replace the filter. You don't need any tools either. You just remove the white plastic cover over the cabin filter, pull the tab on the end of the old filter. The filter is larger than the opening so you have to squeeze the new filter in the opening then snap the white cover back on. That's it. It took me 7 minutes.
Totally true, dude! 👍 You do not have to remove anything and don't even need any tools to replace the cabin air filter in a Juke! Do not remove rubber stripping around door or push a mysterious button on side of dashboard. Or take out all the bolts and remove the glove box. So many of these videos are showing way too many unnecessary steps and work. Keep it simple - quick job.
The filter replacement procedure shown in this video was performed by a qualified mechanic with experience in such tasks. There might be a slightly more "roundabout" way to install the filter in this particular vehicle, but based on the mechanic's experience, we aim to present the entire procedure in a way that is as safe as possible for both the car and the person performing the replacement. 🙂 But thank you for your feedback.😊
@@WIXFiltersEurope Just can't believe you have now triple downed your crap video with bad lighting. So glad your professional mechanic was able to change the filter with a bunch of unnecessary steps, but with the poor lighting the newbs can't really see what the heck he's doing. Also glad he stayed safe. You gotta be kidding.
We're not joking. Ensuring that no one gets hurt during filming is a matter we take very seriously. As for the lighting, we're sorry to hear you're not satisfied with its quality. We did our best to shoot and edit the video in a way that clearly and effectively demonstrated the filter replacement procedure. We'll keep your feedback in mind and work even harder to improve the quality in our future instructional videos. 🙂
Lol, making things complicated. You can replace the cabin filter without removing anything other than the cabin filter cover. You can reach it under your glovebox without removing a bunch of parts
Perhaps it can be done faster, but the question is whether it would be done better. The replacement shown in the video was performed by a qualified mechanic. We trust his professionalism and believe this is the correct way to install the filter in this car, ensuring that everything is done right-minimizing the risk of vehicle damage and maintaining safety for the person replacing the filter.🙂
@@WIXFiltersEurope Are you really a Wix rep? If so, you suck at your job. I thought this would be a tutorial video to teach people how to diy a filter replacement, but no one can see what the hell you are doing. Way to double down on a fail. I watched other vids that actually show what they did and figured it out, but so happy to hear you managed to get yours changed. Thanks for nothing, I bought a FRAM filter.
As we mentioned earlier, while there might be shortcuts when it comes to the filter replacement procedure for this car, we relied on the knowledge and experience of our mechanic who performed the installation shown in the video. Our priority was to ensure that the procedure we demonstrated was safe and carried no risk of damaging the vehicle. Nevertheless, we greatly appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind when creating guides for future car models. 🙂

Look at the reply I got from Wix Europe. They actually doubled down on their crap video.

Seemingly a professional video made by Wix, but how the heck can't they have some proper lighting to see properly?
Don't worry, we managed to handle it. 😉
