Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Display Issue

- After the recent firmware update and app update, my Mi Band 2's display is messed up. I tried, unpairing the band, reinstalling the Mi Fit app and also signing in with a different account but none of the methods is able to fix the display issue.
Is anyone having the same issue or is it just my unit? Share in the comments below!

maybe they update the firmware to low the brightness so we force to buy mi band 3 lol

It's not true. My girlfriend also has mi band 2 and hers screen brightness is good like it always was. But mine is super dimmy, can see what it shows only in the dark...

my mi band 2 display is not working how can i work it
My husband bought 2 Mi band 2 smart watches 3 years ago. My niece has 1 and I have the other. Both displays went dark about the same time. Seems there is no solution and they were only made to last for a certain period of time. I now have a Garmen Vivo smart 4 for 6 months let's hope it lasts longer than the Xiaomi

Seems to be a really common problem with the Mi Band 2. Either dead or really dim displays. Happened to mine after charging it up after letting it sit for about six months. Some people have suggested that the OLED panel itself has been damaged but I still don't know what to make of it.
Same. I didnt use mine for 3 months (mi band HRX edition). I've looked everywhere and there doesnt seem to be a fix. Some say you need to load an older firmware version but some say it doesn't fix it. Never buying a Mi band ever again.

@Shubhangi Sakhare Exactly the same problem with my Mi Band 2 after 1 year of inactivity. I can see in the dark but the brightness is too low to see something during the day
EXACTLY BRO donno wt happened but dim display
When the Mi Band 2 is deeply discharged, the display is very dark. I hadn't used my Mi Band 2 for several years and when I wanted the display was almost completely dark. I charged the device several times in a row and the display got brighter and brighter. I think it can also be due to the battery.
I have this on 2 band 3 and also band 4 this if this is not the display I think this products are planned to brick after 1 year if use (1 worked 1 year, the other 1.5 years and the 3rd 6 month... Before getting darker and darker and darker...)
My lasted 3 years fantastic without dimming, and now it still works fantastic but only display dim

I too face this issue. Purchased two years ago. But just took the band out and put it to charge. All worked fine. But then when connected to Mi Fit app, after sometime, the display became dull and not visible (brightness to 5%). I think we can try to downgrade. Asshole Xiaomi. I wont buy MI instead i will try Honor.

My was in unopened box and yesterday I decided to open it. The screen is dimmed for new device, everything else is working fine. Damn xiaomi.
