My sister was a Soho House member for a few years (she didn’t renew her membership because Covid). It’s pretentious a bit for sure but it’s also super exclusive and has a lot of famous people as members so kind of just expected. Their buffet brunch on the weekend was so good though…went a few times while visiting her and it was so, so good.

What you said about feeling guilty about not working hit different for some reason. My workplace actively fosters being a workaholic which in turn makes me feel guilty if I work anything less than 45 hours per week. Who cares what anyone else is doing. As long as you're doing enough to sustain yourself and you're happy, you don't need to be working 40 hours a week. That's just made up. I hope you can cut yourself some slack during this phase of your life where you have extra time!
