Get an ice pack or frozen bottle of water and place it in a ziploc bag. Put it behind your phone to keep it from overheating while in the van. The ziploc will retain the water from damaging your phone

A friend sprayed truck bed liner on all the metal inside. It made a huge difference in heat transfer. You have the advantage of all that exposed metal 🙌🏼
