Hey William. Could you do a video on how you did an overhaul on your big boy and cab forward? Both (mine) have the same kind of motor in the cab just like your Mallet. The big boy runs a bit poorly in reverse. Any advice. Also it has traction tyres on the same side of the 2 different wheel sets. I am sort of scared to open up the boiler without help. Any advice?
It needs a wheel cleaning, I ran it too much on dirty track through the course of filming. You can see the stalling get worse as the video goes on. I cleaned up the wheels this morning and now it runs great with no issues (for the most part). The only area it still has trouble with is the diamond as the flanges like to ride up the insulated bits quite a lot

I wonder that's the wheel had a gold ring line under there for the traction tire?
That's a nice looking locomotive, but it seems to like to find dead spots on the track.
