The problem here is that there are so many derelict buildings in Blackpool either where the owners are without capital or the buildings have been abandoned by the freeholders or which have been bought offshore in an auction which includes many properties. Many detractors of Blackpool [most of which have never visited] say that the council should foot the bill for all these to be demolished. The same people are also critical of Blackpool because services have to be cut back to deal with the effects of vandalism. This will be vandalism due to vulnerable people seeking shelter whose lives are too chaotic to involve a sense of social awareness. To be truthful they may well have been sent to the resort by agencies due to low rents and then being expelled. A different way needs to be found by thinking out of the box.

Pity it wasn't the North ocean hotel, unfortunately I stayed 1night and I thought that was a fire hazard. Had to find another hotel that was clean and safe.
